Toyhax makes Jazz go from "Meh..." to "THIS IS WHAT I WANTED IN A GENERATIONS JAZZ!" Just shows how colors and stickers give a character so much personality.
It's not that "meh" though
@@MiniChil I know, but I feel that this figure (and by extension the POTP figuee), suffer from a lack of paint and details that I loved about Jazz.

Bought him and Kingdom Rattrap at my local Walmart on Tuesday. Drove more and got Kingdom Dinobot. Drove on the highway for the first time all on my own just to get him. His waist is a bit loose and I’m praying it’s not a QC issue.
It does jazz him up.

I just got my stickers yesterday and oh my. It really makes Jazz look a whole lot better. It's like having a mini masterpiece figure.

All I did was use a black marker for the air intakes and that's already a major improvement. Regardless of my DIY I am very tempted to get this set, the only thing is I live in a high humidity environment.

I love my SS86 Jazz, well worth the Money!
Thanks for pressuring me into getting my own set last month, it arrived today and I couldn't be happier with its end result. Only gripe Ive had is with the door stickers, I had to remove a bit of label so it wouldn't peel up bit I'm very appreciative of them including two sets of the door stickers
I actually removed the doors to make sure that the label was placed so high up that the window never interfered with it

I wanted to really see your animation, so when you transform him at aroud 4 minutes, I put the speed on .25., and WOW that was really impressive to see in slo-mo. The way he pivots in the air on one arm is amazing. I have a new appreciation for what you do. The effort you put in the choreography to make the transformation something special, shows your passion and artistry... plus, as a bonus, I now know how you would sound if you were heavily medicated.

I’d recently acquired my own Jazz, and since I’d seen what had happened to another toy-modder’s work in your posts, I was especially careful whenever handling my copy.
All in all, I’m very impressed and pleased with this figure. It hits all the marks for accuracy for me, and I’m happy to add it to my collection. Although I don’t have the disposable income (currently) for something like new labels, I’m sorely tempted to find the money, if just for those amazing stripes, visor replacements, and robot details.
As per the usual, I’m glad to see your take in this figure, and hope that you’ll consider doing a full review of him and other SS86 characters. I especially would like to hear what you’ve got to say about Blurr or Kup, if you haven’t already done/planned videos for them.

This was the first set of Reprolabels I purchased and applied myself rather than having them preapplied, and man it was such fun to apply them myself! I can't wait to get a ton more kits sometime next month! And great video as always man!

Well said. Give me details! I understand the perspective of those who love toon accuracy like the figure just hopped off the tv screen. But I feel like the cartoon animaters would have added tons more realistic details to the bots we love if they COULD have, if they weren't on a budget and racing the time clock. That's a LOT more drawing!
Thing is, toon accuracy just means you get the same figure with less paint apps.
So yeah, gimme details!!!

While I'm still more for the United Jazz (it's the door wings and speakers), this makes SS86 Jazz AMAZING! Looking at the window decals, it really makes you wish they just didn't go with clear plastic to begin with and did something like this. That way, you get less of THAT problem, and a nice window deco to boot.

I have mine and love him, just debating the labels since I like the paint job as well

I'm a bit of a purest with my figures thinking "if this is how it was released then that's how I'll keep it." But I have to admit I'm giving serious thought to upgrading my figures because this Jazz looks awesome.

You can actually remove the 1 by having a nail polish remover and just leave the number 4.

So far I think this is an outstanding review for this toy has set, I really do think studio series jazz is fairly bland on his own but, with these Toyhax labels applied he looks pretty good. If I happen to get a studio series jazz I definitely think I will get this Toyhax set.

Toyhax also made a pyro stickers for the potp inferno mold but i also recomened shapeway pyro head and chest plate
If you want a little more realism i believe the number 4 935 had golden wheels so you could paint them to make them look like the real car
Idk what I'm going to about it. The wheels don't really do it for me with the pegs n all
I can’t believe all the so-called cartoon aesthetic people didn’t point out that the grill is not crosshatched like it should be. His iconic 2 slot holes on the knee are missing and his shin guards don’t have the 4 section panels on the leg. It’s a few other things missing as well but oh well. That’s the TF community. Sometimes we’re just as random as the first season animation.
I hope they make a G2 version
And a Shattered Glass Alternative set to go along with the SG Optimus and Ratchet from Selects. Literally all you would have to do is give the car mode angry eyebrows, the "Massacre Racing" logos, and a purple autobot insignia.

Just wanted to say this. With kingdom being mostly G1 still and hints of beast wars throughout and studio series redoing the live action and some G1, what series would anyone like to see revived or would you want all new designs. Me personally would like to see a redo of the animated figures maybe even make the fourth season.

Even with my reissue G1 Jazz, I just hide the doors by folding them over each other on his back, otherwise this set looks great

what's ironic is that jazz here is not cartoon accurate yet everyone praises him for his cartoon accuracy
since the animation model (ignoring number 14 instead of 4 since we all know thathas the window strip, a darker blue stripe, stripes on his wheel arches, and the sides of the rear wing are black

Should I buy this figure with with the whole top being made out of clear plastic that has multiple hinges on it?
by an large people report no issues. that being said I've heard about 5 cases of cracking or breakage for the parts in question. so you know, be careful and be aware and all that

@@TheLazyEyebrow this figures design was so safe so clean and the plastic doesn't seem to fade in color like a lot of other versions.so even though you demonstrated the fragility we can't not take it.Especially after we've seen what a fresh looking paint job does

Great Showcase of the add-ons and Man does he look COOL with everything on him but I think for mine I'm going to go with more of an in-between look half cartoon accurate half realistic!
Also shameless plug I did a speed drawing of jazz on my channel for those that would be interested!
Ok I am not a big car person, but I found the martini Porsche 935 turbo online, and looking at photos shows there are two cars with the identical Jazz color scheme. Except they have different numbers and 4 has the larger “real world accurate” stripes on the side and the other one has a number 1. Its stripes are just like the g1 toy. So, in conclusion, I think they took the number from 4 and the stripes from 1 and meshed them to make the toy and cartoon model. Please correct me if I am wrong.
there were different variations of the livery through the years. different striping and all that. for example here's the 1 with the stripes you saw on the 4 www.supercars.net/blog/1977%E2%86%921979-porsche-935/

About a day. Had to make sure the camera didn't move while i applied the next stage and then line it up best i could
Then take a few robot shots whith that level of application, back to car mode, take a shot, apply stickers, take another shot, repeat
