"Do it with style, or don't bother doing it..." Studio Series Jazz is quite possibly the best representation of Jazz we'll ever get at official mass retail! I dig it! Now, will someone redeco this into Stepper/Ricochet? Time will tell...
I don't hate the PotP mold, but I like it with the Ricochet repaint more than I do Jazz. It's just the dark colors look more pleasing on the mold to me than white did.
@@SwiftpawWolffox THIS... Except I wish Toyhax would do a conversion sticker set (AND MAYBE a 3-D printed head), to convert Ricochet/Stepper into Gobot Crashur!
Personally I still dislike POTP Jazz (I think the whole prime wars Trilogy toyline was over all bad) but there is one element I like about the POTP Jazz are the back of the legs. Hasbro should have used the back windows to fill out that area which would have also solved this figure's knee problem
It is nice being a transformers fan without being a vehicle enthusiast. The downside is I prefer transformers Cybetron style more outlandish designs rather than these realistic altmodes, and lately toy lines have been heavily bias...
I feel ya. I mean, I like the real world vehicles too, of course, but the crazy designs are what I really want. I mean, I keep wishing they would lose their minds and put out ANOTHER Six Shot.
Hell yeah. Don't get me wrong, realistic vehicles are nice, but that's what we've been getting for YEEEEARS. TF vehicle modes just need a bit more pizzazz, you know? ...but then again I grew up with Cybertron so I might be a bit biased in that regard.

I've had Barricade for a few months now and never once noticed the notches for the mirrors behind the front fenders and inside the doors. As soon as you mentioned it I dug him out to see for myself and sure enough! I tightened his posture and it holds so much better. I can't believe I've done him wrong all this time!
WOW! Nice videos-and LOVE the VA doing Optimus' voice, the recreation of the commercial bumps, and the humor. Optimus sounds SPOT ON! Looking fwd to more. Thx.
I know it's not accurate by any means but I painted the bottom of Jazz's feet a dark grey (a little darker than the top of his feet), and it already added so much to the overall aesthetic since it broke up all that white of the car mode. As it is, SS86 Jazz, while it indeed has its faults, is perhaps my favorite TF figure of the past few years.
I agree with you, I think it over all is great. Him being a vehicle guy, I also understand. I hate he started with the complaints then ending with them.

This was a terrific review! I had a huge smile on my face the entire time, and everything you covered in the video was so well done! The skits were hilarious (the bit with Omega Supreme and the Mario jump sound in the transformation had me cackling), the advertisement where Wheeljack broke the fourth wall was well done and funny as well, and overall, I just adored the review. Great job on the Wheeljack costum! Oh... I get it, J as in Jazz, and 14 because that's the number they decided to put on it. It's like B-127 but the number acually makes sence!
Fantastic review of Jazz The Lazy Eyebrow!!!! After transforming him a couple of times, I'm keep his doors folded out in robot mode, since I felt strain on the hinge joint trying to get it to sit flush against Jazz's back and I think this is how collectors have been breaking Jazz's backpack.
Damn, this dude really loves that car. I'll buy 1/24 models for all the G1 cars because I want them to be accurate in alt mode. For the planes and tanks I'll have to settle for 1/35 models.
I know that you calling Netflix Bumblebee "Masterpiece 3.0" is supposed to be a gag because it looks better than both previous Masterpiece figurines (and you're right!), but given the price gauging via scalpers buying up our little buddy in bulk, I'd reckon he costs the same as an actual Masterpiece figurine now.
OMFG, I loved the bit about the uncanny valley. I was actually going to include a similar segment in my review this week, but the chart I ended up with didn't look similar enough to make the joke.
Great work mr eyebrow! That buttery smooth animation is always fun to watch. Ok, in all honesty seeing the new ss jazz with reprolabels ALMOST made me like the new jazz more than reveal the shield jazz. Tough call imo!

However, the G2 figure of Jazz had a 1 on the door so they could mark out the 4 instead if they were going for that deco
This figure is so much better looking in bot and alt modes, it's close enough to the oroginal Porsche that i love it having wanted one pf those since the 80's... it's what i would call a modern update to an old design that looks really good...
