I hope you enjoy this video! Please let me know what you thought :) And if you're in the market for nice waterproof shoes, make sure to check out Vessi's sale - www.vessi.com/makeovers
Wow, this furniture restoration video is absolutely captivating! The level of skill and craftsmanship displayed here is truly awe-inspiring. I'm in complete awe of how this piece of furniture has been transformed with such care and attention to detail. Amazing work! 👏🔨✨"By the way, I have a hunch that the bird's call you heard could be from an Eurasian bullfinch. While they are considered rare in Canada, they do exist in North America, and they are quite common in my home country, Norway. It's fascinating to think that their melodic calls might have reached your ears all the way over there. Nature has a way of surprising us! Keep exploring and enjoying those beautiful bird encounters.
I read this comment right after “mmm donuts” was dubbed in. It had me giggle a little the little touches of humor really does make this video better than others
Gosh this piece makes me happy. Something about lots of little functional pieces, from drawers, to doors, to wheels, is delightful. I love the touch of adding old newspaper as labels, and very pretty finish. Lovely!
It's been said many times but I'll say it again: the humor in your editing is great. The H2O joke and the surprise staple gun shots were my favorites this time
@DAC9500 hundred percent agree, the filmmaking makes it so worth watching. and I also love the touches of humour and the little animal vignettes - my favourite maker
You've transformed it from a piece ready for the scrap heap to a piece you'd see at a pricey, trendy furniture store for $$$$s. Really great job, as usual, even down to the finishing touches 👏 👍
I think you're the only channel where I've watched every video. Its fascinating watching how you transform these old pieces. I don't know anything about woodwork lol. Would you ever do videos where you make your own furniture from scratch?
That means a lot ❤️ I think maybe one day.. I think the closest to making my own furniture was in my video where I turn a single drawer into a nightstand
While you were working on this piece, I was think about how perfect it would be for your workshop. You have so many small parts tucked away for later use in new pieces. But when I saw the finished piece I realized that no one would even consider damaging such a work of art by using it in such a way. Thank you so much for sharing your artistry with us!!
Why do I watch you? Your awonderful skils at transforming a piece of furniture and bringing it back to life in such an unique way, and of course the video itself, great humour.Wish I could skateboard backwards
I agree with everyone: you have a gift for making an old cabinet look new and your video editing is on point. Having said that, there's a big market for antique cabinets that are preserved rather than restored. Preserving the visual history of the piece while making it functional and durable is something I would have liked to see you tackle.
Hi Andy, welcome back. Being Ontario the bird must be a Blue Jay, surely... I've now completed my first set of drawers and have a garage full of pieces waiting to be refurbished. Thanks for the idea and inspiration...
Thanks for the bird ID. I've just been listening to recordings of blue jays on my bird app (we don't have them in the uk), they have such a diverse repertoire and the "whisper song" of a blue Jay is so strange, it sounds like someone throwing a load of springs into a piano and giving it a shake 😅
This was so great to watch from start to finish. Your camera and restoration skills are fantastic! Absolutely fascinated with the drawer pulls and antique newspaper clippings.
I love the vintage look... it is beautiful and functional... I hope it becomes your family's heirloom furniture and enjoyed by many generations to come...
Absolutely stunning - a joy to watch. Someone will be the proud owner of a fabulous piece of furniture that will be enjoyed for many years to come. Congratulations on a job superbly done.
I swear to anyone who’ll listen; if I had the money, the transportation cost and the space, that would be in my home right now. Truly stunning piece of furniture ✊🏾
aside from your obvious amazing work with the furniture, your editing skills are sooo good, you make your videos super entertaining!! also i love your sense of humor lmao
Hi Andy, I accompany you here from Brazil. I'm passionate about your work, I love the way your videos are produced, from the technical aspects of woodworking, humor and even your sensitivity in observing nature. Simply amazing, congratulations :)
That was awesome to watch. You are so good at what you do. It’s a pleasure watching the progress from beginning to end. Your talent knows no bounds for such a young guy. I can’t imagine what you will create in the future. You have many, many years to dazzle us.
I'm about to do my first project, a doll house restoration! It's a doll house from when I was little, my younger cousins have grown out of it. You've inspired me to restore it. Absolutely love your work ❤
Such an inspiring restoration. Your talent is amazing, for both the pieces and the interesting videos. Not only did I love the final products, shortening the whole thing took real skill. That's the thing you have that others don't, and what makes your videos fun to watch. Nice job!!
Another beautiful makeover! Your creative vision never ceases to amaze. And your videography and editing skills…well, you should you ever tire of restoration they’d be lining up to hire you. Bravo and thanks for another great one❤️☮️
Precisely! I was thinking that Andy's "ad" for Vessi shoes was probably classier, more effective and overall more professional than what they get their advertising department to do! They must think they've hit the jackpot!
Wow. What an effort and what a result. Absolutely love it! Also love your accuracy and empathy! Those casters give lightness to the heavy appearence of the furniture. Very good job
I hope that when I get my own house I can make this so I can put all my art supplies, this is such a clean and aesthetically made furniture, my favorite one so far
Very special piece of furniture! The same kind of piece would sell here in Scandinavia for at least 1500 dollars. If not more. With you work done to it, i bet it would be worth more than that. I hope the value is even greater in your area! Good job, so inspiring to watch and your videography is leveling up by every video. Thank you for sharing and being a true inspiration!
The aesthetics of your videos, not to mention your craftsmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of the furniture refinishing, videography and even sponsorships keeps me spellbound the entire length of them. Impressive to say the least. I’m wondering if you trained in all these aspects, or is it all self-taught? You’re amazing at what you do. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Absolutely in love with this cabinet. You are so talented, you take such care in every step. You took something destined for the landfill and made it an heirloom piece.
Beautiful! When you first brought out the butane, I thought you were gonna set that thing on fire. I’m glad I was wrong, it came out beautifully! I can’t believe that’s the same piece.
The only complaint I have about your channel is I would love to see new videos more frequently. The humor in the recordings, the masterful skill demonstration, and a real design sense make your work the best. Thank you!
You do not disappoint-that is an amazing transformation! I especially like the difference tones of the drawer fronts and the old newspaper inserts is a great idea. I would love to have this in my house! 🌟 And…I’ll be checking out those shoes.
Everything about your videos is awesome. From the videography to the way you do sponsorships and of course the beautiful pieces you create. Just perfection
You're always so creative with your restorations, and with the way you share your work with us. It's not just about the process, but about the story of the piece itself. I honestly get a grin on my face whenever I get a notification that you've uploaded a new video. Thank you for your hard work!
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Makes me want to stash tools, gadgets, and odds and ends in it right now. Thank you for the wonderful video! Appreciate your skills across the board.
Saw a new video of yours - had to watch immediately I admire your level of skill and the amount of work you not only put into your restorations but also into editing the videos to be extremely pleasing. Thank you so much for sharing this, it really inspires me and gives me peace
Every time. Every single time, I'm blown away at your dedication and art. These things take an immense amount of time and patience and I admire your work ethic! It's a beautiful piece, keep it up! ☺️
I Love this! The color, the wheels, everything. It always make me happy when what looks like a drawer Is actually a drawer instead of a big false front. I think you did an absolutely Stellar job on this Sir :-)
My dad was born just a few weeks before your dad. I totally appreciate the beauty of this piece but being the pack rat that I am, I would have loved to keep the drawers as ridiculously deep as they were.
I was wondering what you were going to do. It’s amazing. I’m so glad you updated someone else’s hard work and you put massive amounts of work into this one.
I am always mesmerized by your videos. The restoration work, filming the video, and your editing are impeccable. I try not to blink so I don't miss one thing. You are a true genius!!!! I cannot wait until the next project!!!! Thank you!!!
I am in AWE!!! I am a fan off everything you do, but this is next level creativity. Simply gorgeous. And the old newspaper touch, just brilliant and gave me chills honestly. Almost 100 years old. Wow.
Wow! It is hard to believe that it's the same item! If I hadn't just watched you restore this, I'd have thought this was a completely new item. Amazing!
Oh my GOD. this is simply amazing dude, the dedication to the project and it turned out so so good!! You are so talented, I LOVE the cinematography of it all as well. Keep doing your stuff, man!
I could easily watch hours of you restoring furniture like these, this is now my therapy and it makes me really happy when I see the notification of your channel 😊
I found my new obsession. Your videos are very soothing and the patience you have is remarkable. It makes me want to use my hands a little more often ☺️
I enjoyed viewing this makeover as much as I did the first time. The person who made the original cabinet was thoughtful, detailed, and thorough. It was well built. I imagine that he was watching your work from his carpentry shop in heaven. He was smiling.
My favourite restoration artist by FAR! Soothes my perfectionist brain. The time and effort you put into these as well as editing is inspiring. It’s always a good day when you post, thank you :)
I love all the things you have done. I think this piece is my most favorite. You are incredibly talented and artistic. Anyone would be honored to have any of your pieces in their home.
This was stunningly beautiful! Amazing job! You have an unique talent that I am so glad you are so fully capable of pursuing and using, my friend. Can't wait for the next one! :)
You never disappoint! I love your attention to detail and the clever video tricks you add. On this restoration, why did you decide to make the back the front?
I hope you enjoy this video! Please let me know what you thought :)

I'm fan of Vessi shoes and own several pairs.
Looks pretty, but you really should have written on the new back when you installed it.

Did you find out what kind of bird that was?
And the piece is absolutely breathtaking!!!
The majority opinion seems to be blue jay :)
Love your touches of humor. Love the silence. Love no annoying music dubbed in. Love the fact that you don't explain anything verbally. Perfect video.
+1 to not having annoying music!
Agreed!
I like to know what he’s doing and why.

@dac9500 I was 2 in dog years!!!🤭🤪
I love your artistic & cinematic way that you edit & film! It's different from any other restoration videos I've seen
Me too!! 💟
This transformation was unbelievable! Stunning furniture makeover. Your creativity is astounding!
I absolutely love how you bring out the natural elements of the wood you work with, it's absolutely stunning and so rare to see anymore

@@susanprendergast7384 I have to agree with you, his videos are really incredible and he creates such exquisite pieces of art!!
This is amazing! I hope the person who gave it away sees this video so they know this piece gets a second life!
Another fantastic transformation. I enjoy the fact you take fairly low quality pieces of furniture and turn them into something we all want.
Why do I watch you? Your awonderful skils at transforming a piece of furniture and bringing it back to life in such an unique way, and of course the video itself, great humour.Wish I could skateboard backwards
One of THE most beautiful pieces of furniture I have ever seen!!! 😍
I just love how talented you are from videotaping, restoring, to your creativity. This is just absolutely gorgeous.
