Michael one of your best video ever. I've been following your online courses and Wim Hof Method too since one year and this is the perfect synthesis of what one should do with breathing exercises. We need to find balance between energetic and relaxed practices. I experienced it myself and now you confirmed my own sensation, that's great! Thanks a lot for your amazing videos.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I have gotten so much from your teachings and they now form a significant part of my practice.
I thought I might mention also, I am a neuroscience researcher at a college in Ireland, and our lab has been experimenting on the underlying mechanisms of pranayama and meditation. If you are interested in our work please send me a message. We hope in the near future to be trying to understand neural and physiological changes in more advanced pranayama practitioners. :)

This is very insightful. Thank you for putting some emphasis on using a harder breathing method like WHM to THEN, afterwards, go deeper into your awareness and not just a game of physical sensations. This is very timely advice for me right now. 🙏

Hello Michael. In daily home practice ( asana pranayama meditation ) , how much time or percentage of it is best to commit to the pranayama and meditation please ? Thank you , very inspired by your teachings. Namaste. Bharathi

A good question. This depends on your ability to relax and concentrate. In the yoga practice you want to prepare mind and body to go into deep state of profound Meditation (absorption: Samadhi) To do that you do Asana practice and Pranayama (and concentration: Dharana) a session you can divide it up in 3 parts: Asana - Pranayama - Meditation
(Watch my other video for more information about the 8 limbs of yoga th-cam.com/video/kxVNwXGlXRk/w-d-xo.html)
So a yoga session can be divided like this:
      Beginner: 50% Asana - 25% Pranayama - 25% Meditation
      Intermediate: 33% Asana - 33% Pranayama - 33% Meditation
      Advanced: 10% Asana - 20% Pranayama - 70% Meditation
I wish you peace and blessings,
      Michaël
