well, after several months and after going through every pilot, we get to the final character of the game. the Falcon.
someone actually suggested BF to be the last vehicle way back when there were around just 10 pilots done and there were no requests to do him eariler until like the last 3-4 pilots were remaining.
after playing every car and then stepping into BF, it shows how slow this car is in reality. the booster is among the weaker ones and that handicaps it a lot greatly. surprisingly, the ship can do almost all the advanced techs rather well like MTS, MTRS, QT and Shift Boosts. too bad the ship itself is slow.
i feel that story mode wouldn't be that hard if other ships could be used. a big part of the difficulty comes from this ship being relatively slow compared to most of the other ships.
as a starting vehicle it is fine but it isn't meant to be used that much beyond learining how to play since there's many better options around for Grand Prix at least. - เกม

Look for old vintage games stores around you. Once you hear of them, go to them immediately before they get picked out. Most of those stores end up with common games because they don't want to pay the money to get good games in their store or they simply get bought. There's one in a store near me, He wants I think $20 for it.

Man the F-Zero series is pretty underrated. Other than Captain Falcon's debut in Smash, his franchise needs more love and a new game.

This is one of my all time favourite video games. One of the many reasons why this was so special was the excellent analog shoulder buttons of the GameCube controller, they really used them to perfection in F-Zero GX, the fine control of the ship was something that has never been reached before or after. True classic. Thank you for the video.

Gladson MF The game was only this perfect because of it being co-developed by Nintendo. Sega or Nintendo by themselves could never make a game of this caliber. I’d honestly be shocked if they make a sequel, they would definitely struggle to top this as the people who made this game are long gone by now and the only person that would know how to match GX’s quality is Nagoshi, who has been stuck producing Yakuza games since 2005 and Hiroyuki Sakamoto

This game was actually made by both Nintendo and SEGA, the latter having a lot more experience in the genre with games like Daytona USA, SEGA Rally, the OutRun series, etc.

there is rubberbanding even in GP. i don't know why people want to believe there isn't. this game is as guilty as the early Mario Karts of cheap rubberbandhing AI. play PRSLS in master to see the clearest example.

I've tried Fast RMX and Wipeout Omega and they're ok, but nothing matches the speed and driving of this game. Still one of my favourites of all time. No hope for a new game, at this point I'd already be happy with a Switch HD update .

it's smart on Nintendo's part though. majority of players are just gonna pick Falcon every time, and having a difficult game while giving other characters advantages gives players a reason to branch out and pick other drivers.
This game was very good. Games like this I thought were more along the lines of what I would play as a kid because I've always been Team Nintendo.
My favorite track was the Dragon Slope. It's quite fun once you get the aiming down and I beat a Staff Ghost on it using Pico.
That's an amazing accomplishment, considering how terrible the Wild Goose's boost and handling are!

Thanks for this video. I wanted to go back and play GX and see my 100% complete file. Turns out Gamecube memory cards don't age well and the whole thing got corrupted. Glad I could see the whole thing again!

I was barely able to beat master class with a custom machine, let alone an actual character's machine. How do you retain control on those quick maneuvers after boosting? I always slide out of control into a wall or off a cliff.
I always freak out on Serial Gaps when the music gets really fast. I just start mashing boost and end up falling off.

Blue Falcon may have a C in boost but it just seems to fly up the track
CloudStrifeZX Blue Falcon is slow. there's many regular cars that are way faster and i never compared it to custom cars. it was a comparison against the other cars. this car is not very good and people need to accept that. the fact i won the races can be factored out because i won even with Silver Rat and that's the slowest car.
that low accel for Hyper Speeder is only a problem at the start of the race. the max speed advantage over the whole race is way bigger. HS can hold speeds over 1700 when boosting easily whilke BF can't even break 1600 consistently. HS's grip is better. BF in X was actually a top contender but in GX it isn't even top 10. Fat Shark, Black Bull, Sonic Phantom, Wild Boar, Hype Speeder, Rainbow Phoenix, Death Anchor, Fire Stingray, Deep Claw, Twin Noritta are all faster and i might be forgetting some which are very close to it.

maybe you should play other cars more like i've done and see for yourself how they play. HS's grip isn't the best but BF's isn't either and it gets bad at high speeds too (since BF's max boost speeds are lower, it's easier for HS to lose more grip since it's going much faster)

i like how you ignore the most important stat of all and only look at the things where BF is better. it doesn't matter if BF is better in those stats if the more important ones such as max speed (~1030 vs 1100+ cars that destroy it in the opener lap alone) and max boosted speed are bad and make the overall machine not so good.

I remember playing this game with a friend of mine & we would always try to spin into other drivers just to see how many we could kill & when the best way would be to do it.
I still try to time the spin attack to where I can hit multiple people at the same time, but, I literally go off the track & die, or, I crash into something, instead.
We always tried the other way on how to attack them, but, it never works.
Where do you guys have your boost set on the controller? Rather Y or B? Or something else?

To unlock the AX tracks takes so much skill.
You I didn't know about all the techniques your using while your racing. I just used normal boost without letting go of the a button and always turned while using the l and r buttons. Every now and then I would drift. I still placed first in master and unlocked all the characters in the game using the basics. Even ax characters. This video game me advice thanks and great racing.👍
I wish we could have gotten a Sonic Riders or a Sonic R 2 that had this kind of speed and track design. Just think of how cool something like Metal City or Radiant Emerald would look with track design inspired by THIS.
So after you completed every ship, will you still upload more F-Zero GX videos (except the TNTA-Competition ones)? I really enjoyed these all and it would be a pity for me if F-Zero GX is done for you now.. :)
