My sister had memorised the location of each fixed speed camera on the Geelong-Melbourne road. She used to slow down when being tailgated and then change lanes just before the speed camera just to watch them speed off past into the distance and the small flash of the camera as they did so.

The area where I went to graduate school has a lot of homeless people. They sometimes begged on campus but most people ignored them. One of the jerks in my program was yelling insults at a bearded older man dressed in baggy clothes sitting on a bench outside. Fast forward ten minutes and the bearded older man is the eccentric professor teaching our new class. Needless to say jerk guy had a very bad semester 😂😂😂
I live in a small town in the south where everyone gossips and judges everyone. There was a church that got a new pastor and the church goers hadn’t met him yet and didn’t know what he looked like. There was a man outside the church dressed like he was homeless and was asking for help and so many people were rude to him or told him off. Turns out it was their new preacher 😂 he then proceeded to do a sermon and stress the importance of being kind to everyone and for us to try to not judge a book by its cover

I was looking for this comment, now I want to know the story behind it.
My mum and her older sister were bullied on their way to school every day. Like it was brutal, the bully would push them off their bikes and one time she pushed my aunt and it did something to her braces. A few years later my mum had just gotten a promotion at her job so she decided to spoil her self, she got a new car and was wearing some new clothes when she walked in to a fast food place and her bully was behind the counter. The bully saw my mum in a new car and new clothes looking like a million bucks and my mum being my mum was the nicest person ever to her.
Sometimes the best you can be is kind and generous, just like your mum.

not my story, but my cousin's wife, we were all sitting around talking about the past and somehow we ended up talking about highschool. she was bullied like hell in school, only to be bullied at home by her mom and brother. most, if not all, of her school bullies are either messed up, very overweight, and/or dead. she and her brother seem to be on better terms, but the mom is still nuts... kinda killed the mood in the group so we just went to a gym and she punched the hell out of punching bag, no gloves, knukles were bloody and bruised but she did say that she felt better.
I was a very thin girl in high school the only fat I had on me was my large chest. This girl a couple grades higher than me loved to pick on me. Poked my chest, and loudly say she felt socks, or tissues or toilet paper depending on the day. I was very modest and rarely wore sweaters because of my chest. She would yank my blouse even popping buttons and try to “ see in” . My high school was a constant embarrassment.I cried a lot. It was 30 years ago and I still cringe. Well I was talking to a former school mate , turns out she ended up with terminal breast cancer. Karma is a bitch.
I think if I met that bully while she was still alive, I would quote things from the South Park episode "Breast Cancer Show Ever."

15 years later, I’m working in the pharmacy in the town I grew up in. The same bully turns up and submits a prescription for Suboxone. For those who don’t know, is an opioid addiction management drug. Addiction is one helluva thing, but seeing he’s fallen into the trap of substance abuse was cathartic-I ain’t gonna lie.
People that walk slow or probably just old or disabled , what a bizarre thing to be mad about you could literally just walk past but you have to be a douche for no reason...... I really don't get why people are so rage filled over nothing.
I was having a bad day once and was in an all around crappy mood so i was driving a bit aggressively. I cut someone off who really didn't deserve it. Well instead of raging or flipping me of he got up next to me, looked me in the eyes and gave me a thumbs down. Needless to say it was more devastating than the finger and just made me laugh and calm down. I have used that move since and not once has it lead to road rage just deflated ego's and confused looks.

I paid back the bully that was bullying me for 3 years and I got in trouble I got suspended motion to be expelled the bully nothing nothing happened to him even though there was video evidence of him coming over and punching me in the back of the head. The school system is broke there's always going to be bullies there is it's human nature. Sorry to say I've been on both sides of the line the teachers were the ones that were More bullies than the students. A lot of people have not mentioned that the teachers could be more damage in than our peers

I knew a guy in school who did his best to ruin my reputation and only challenged me to fights when he had at least two or three of his buddies with him.when he was alone he wouldn't even look in my direction.a few years later I was fishing and he was there in a canoe by himself.the canoe tipped over and he cried that he couldnt swim.i jumped in the water and pulled him Into safety.after that i got in his canoe with him to teach him how to navigate the waves.the last time i saw him one of his buddies tried to get me into a fight but he told him to leave me alone or I'd knock his head off and that he won't help him.
One of my favorite things to do since the pandemic has made it much more crucial to have contactless payment whenever I have those customers who throw their credit cards at me I pick up a pencil and slide it back at them and let them know that I can no longer handle their card and that they have to use the card reader which was right next to them the whole time

I had a school bully from ages 5 to 11. Then I went to another district. This kid made bomb and death threats to me and my family. The entire school hated him, yet did nothing about him. He started rumors about me, and always tried to get me into as much trouble as possible with the most outlandish lies. The worst was him threatening to stab my brother to death in the middle of the night. (Kindergarten) in fourth grade, he threatened to bomb and set my house on fire. Anyways, I heard from friends who still go to the same district as him that he's now getting bullied. But for whatever reason, I still feel bad for him.

An old friend of mine (since first grade) was giving me sh*t for a girl I was dating when we were in our early 20's. My gf had strict parents but she (my gf) respected them. I ended up stop hanging out with my friend and his wife (although we were friends for almost 20 years) and I did end up marrying my gf. We've been married for almost 10 years and been together for 15. My friend and his wife ended up getting divorced because of his wife cheating on him.
He may have given me crap about my relationship with the girl I was dating who had strict parents but at least we're still together and happy. Can't say the same for him.
There was this one popular girl in HS who had at least one kid before she graduated, after that she invited me to be her friend on FB; I told her that I wasn't interested in being her friend. She never did anything but make me feel insignificant and often started stupid rumors about people. Anyway, she had nothing to say when I told her, 'If you didn't like me in HS, why would I be friends with you now?'

In my smallish town, people see people they know all the time and will constantly stop to talk. Just the other day, a group of women all saw each other at the same time and blocked the main part of the entrance and exit. So I yelled “is this a fucking convention? Or are you bitches just fucking rude and stupid?” And my toddler angrily yelled out “move it or lose it.” As we rammed right through their stupid parade

When I was young and angry if my Warhammer 40k opponent got distracted from our casual game (played pureley for fun) more than three times I would start picking up dice I shouldn't on the fourth (fifth, sixth, etc) infraction. I mean, how very dare they repeatedly socialize in the middle of our game, in the middle of the store, which is in a mall, and on a Friday, no less!
I still remember the guy in HS that made fun of me (not outright bully) me about being bi. I ended up sleeping with his brother who was in the same grade as me (11th grade, his brother was in 12th). Best part was his brother rubbed it in his face so hard. And as for on the road and pissing people off: if I see someone come up behind me like they're in nascar or something, and im im the passing lane passing another car, I'll either match my speed of the car im passing or pass the car at a sloe enough speed where it takes a while to do so. Yeah giving somebody decaf is so wrong in so many ways I don't care how rude they are that is literally stealing from somebody. And who is just decide what behavior is rude? You leave that decision in the hand of some of these workers when they treat you like you are a Karen and completely rude when they grow up big time. I've had this happen a couple of times. Once when we ordered our hotel to be ready and paid extra, for it to be ready by 11:00 a.m. because we were coming from out of state. She told us no they don't have a room ready and she'll just give us our money back when that wasn't the point. We were completely exhausted and not want to wait for extra hours that is why we made special arrangements and paid extra to have a hotel ready. And then she acted like we were the most horrible customers and parents because he couldn't get it right and couldn't understand why we didn't want to sit in a parking lot in 110° weather for 4 hours after specifically making arrangements for a hotel to be ready by 11:00. And paying extra. But to her we were just Karen and she gave us the worst room in the entire hotel after still making us wait. We even call the head to be very sure we could get this room at 11:00 and they absolutely assured us. We made the arrangement so we wouldn't just borrow it in being a pain in the butt expecting an early room cuz we would never do something like that to anybody
