There’s this kid in my class, let’s call him Brad. Brad says my name quietly to attract my attention, then pretends nothing happened. This was in my music class, and I had to make a song to present in class in front of everyone. I recorded myself saying Brad’s name and put the recording in the song multiple times. So you’d be listening to the song, then all of a sudden, “Brad!”

For the ones you kinda feel bad for: I was sparring a bigger and more experienced kid (with supervision). He hit me in the head on the padding. I got mad bc it hurt and tried to do the same. I ended up clipping him across the nose, which was illegal but it wasn’t called. I felt bad because I knew it had to have hurt, but then he went all red-eyed and started beating on me, so those feelings quickly became “damn dude I’m younger and less experienced, you’re just pummeling me now with sloppy punches”.

When I was in the 6th grade, I was waiting in line for my bus at a bus hub like 12 busses pulled in and this kid behind me kept trying to push me in front of the passing busses. The first time I asked him to stop, second told him if he did it again I would hit him the third time I turned around and clocked him in the nose. We all went home him with a bloody nose. After I got home his dad's lawyer called my home and asked my dad why I punched him in the nose and I explained the story and the lawyer freaked out apologized repeatedly for wasting his time and hung up. Got some ice cream that night.

My revenge story was that when I was in elementary school, like 4th grade, a highschool senior girl was bullying me and all my friends. It started verbally, and her younger sister hated me too for no reason. Her sister was younger than I was and I made it a point to ignore her at the bus stop because I just didn't want to deal with drama from someone 3 years behind me. I was cognitively ahead of my peers already, I couldn't stand being around younger kids. The highschool and elementary bus stops were across the street from one another, and the highschool bus showed up an hour before the elementary bus, but my mom made me wait an hour before the highschool bus was due to arrive every single day, no matter what, so there was an hour where the high schoolers, while not actually supposed to, would walk across the street to either mingle with or bully the younger kids. The ones that were friendly were usually only friendly to their younger siblings and their friends, but I wasn't friends with any of the kids with highschool age siblings. Anyways, the bullying started out verbal for a month or two, then went physical. She would shove, kick, chase, and generally abuse me. When summer was approaching, she and her friends started taking over the playground to do drugs and abuse kids and they rode dirt bikes everywhere they went, the bikes only belonged to one of the girls though, and they weren't the lead girl's. One day, I walked up to the park with my best friend and my brother, but when we saw them we turned to leave again, not wanting trouble. They got on their bikes and started chasing us, running us down. At one point I realized that it was bullshit and just stopped, turned around, and grabbed the handlebars of the lead girl's bike, and it actually almost flipped. The girls started yelling at me not to touch other people's stuff, that I had no right to do that, and I shot back that I had every right to defend myself from malicious attacks against my safety and if they didn't stop then I would go to the cops. Well, the lead girl didn't like that and grabbed me and spun me around and put me in a chokehold, which either she did very poorly or I was just resistant to it due to having already set off my asthma trying to outrun the dirt bikes. Either way, I was breathing the exact same. I tossed the phone my brother and I shared to my brother and told him to call the cops, and he started dialing. The bullies bailed, but not before attempting to go after my brother and him biting one of them hard enough to warrant stitches. When we got back to my place I had apparently developed bruises around my neck exactly where her arm had been, so we went to the cops. She was charged with child abuse, due to the age gap, and arrested, her grandparents, who she and her sister lived with, forced to move out, and her sister sent to live with their parents, who lived in the same trailer park as us anyways. Never saw the older, but the younger became so much worse after that. At one point, after the younger sister had threatened to stab me I went to her trailer to tell her parents, and their dogs were outside. Now, everybody in the trailer park knew these dogs were vicious and would bite people and not let go, but I was determined to tell her parents about her behavior, so I entered the yard where the dogs were. They did nothing to me, just tried to get me to pet them. I knocked on the door, the dad answered, I told him what happened, and he threatened me too. So then I exited his property, walked over to his trash can, pushed it over, and told him to rethink that threat or end up like his older daughter and to clean up his mess before I told the rental office he was making a mess of the park. They moved out after that

I will never understand, in cheating cases, the people who take revenge on a third party rather than the person themselves who was unfaithful. It boggles the mind how many people hold the third party somehow MORE accountable than the person they've given their hearts and promises to.
Imagine a friend that steals from you and sells it to some guy on the internet and then deciding to get more mad at the internet guy instead of the person that stole your stuff, it's ridiculous.

It’s disrespectful. If u know she’s with someone(especially someone u know) and u still go through, you’re disrespectful. Surely the cheater is held to more accountability but the guy disrespectfully enter your domain and use what’s yours, eat your food, frick yah wife, bring himself in the same place where your kids live and probably smile in your face otherwise. I mean, I just wouldn’t be able to look at the guy the same way on the streets again. The thought that somewhere in their mind they feel like they win(regardless of the outcome of the affair) Is enough to make someone want to retaliate.

In 5th grade there were 3 boys on my bus that started bugging me everyday on the bus. They would pull my hair , snap my bra. And so on. It never mattered if I sat in front they would then sit up front and bug me . One day I ended up sitting like second seat to the back with my best friend sitting next to me . I just sorta snapped this day because one of the boys stuck his hand down my shirt and copped a feel. He ended up with two broken fingers the friend next to him pulled my hair I punched him in the nose and it started bleeding and then the third boy punched me in the face I punched him back a punch of times just losing my shit until it was my stop. Next day I saw the full damage . One boy two broken fingers , second boy broken nose, their boy swollen shut black eye. They never told anyone it was me . I never got in trouble and they left me alone forever after that day .

Here is my lovely revenge storytime:
So when I was in 4th grade, I befriended this girl who well call L. I was friends with L up to 7th grade. By this time, I had introduced her to my best friend, Y, whom I had known since 1st grade. She had introduced me to R. L and R did cheer at the same place, and their parents forced them to be friends. So at the beginning of 7th grade, we were all a big friend group. L and Y and I all auditioned for show choir together. At one of our competitions in February, L went psycho. She got really possessive over Y for no reason, and she wouldn’t let anyone talk to her. Y was clearly uncomfortable, but L was acting like a crazy person and started some drama that ended up having our whole team crying at the competition. She kept pulling shit like this throughout 7th grade, and I hated her. In 8th grade, we were still a friend group, but Y and I both hated L. R didn’t know about this. In 8th grade, R and I became best friends. I was also still very close with Y. L kept getting more possessive over Y, and kept reminding me and R that Y was her favorite. It got to the point where I would cry about it every night (I can’t even share all of the details bc it’s too much to get into). At one point, I attempted sh because of her. By April of 8th grade, I told R. She immediately took my side, and we confirmed with Y that we all disliked her. We had also recently found out she was not going to the same high school as the rest of us. Fast forward about a month, R invited us all to spend the night at her lake house on the last day of school. She intentionally scheduled it at a time that L would have to be late. I had overheard some of the “popular” mean girls talking about having a party at one of their houses. Conveniently, R’s little sister was friends with this girls little sister, so she knew their address (it was at the same lake). These popular girls have hated and kinda teases L throughout all of middle school. They disliked me, R, and Y, but not as much as they disliked L. So, R gave L the other girl’s address. Last day of school rolls around, and R takes Y and I to her lake house. L was the type of person who, when being dropped off somewhere, would make her mom leave before she walked in. So R, Y, and I were all kinda watching her go to the wrong house where all the meanest of middle school popular girls were. I must also note that this party was not a sleepover, and she had sleepover stuff. She goes to ring the doorbell, and five or six girls answer it. They pretty much just laughed at her and humiliated her. She had to go home early and never talked to us again. I also forgot to mention that we told her if she didn’t get it together we would not be friends with her multiple times.
    ✨The end✨
TLDR: girl who was mean gets told the wrong address and is humiliated by bullies

Well, Mom talked her out of committing aggravated assault, but they hatched a Plan B: Word of Mouth. The town they lived in was tiny and rural. Social work is a very fricked up and dark thing. The system needs changed. Kids deserve better, they already go through enough if they need to have a social worker involved in their life. Not as good as these stories, but I did get petty revenge on my eighth grade math teacher. There was a three-page assignment that needed to be turned in by the end of the week. (She had been accepting the assignment all throughout the week and the next day was the last day to turn it in.) She seemed to have it out for me early on in the school year. Admittedly I was never a star student but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Anyway, in front of the entire class she asked me if I had turned my assignment in yet. I said no, not yet, but that I would turn it in tomorrow. She starts flipping out, turns red, and yells across the room from her desk, " That is a lie! You always say you will, but then you never do!" (Lie) By this point everyone is staring, mouth agape. That night, I made sure every I was dotted and every T was crossed on those three papers. The next day I went up to her desk, stacked the papers perfectly evenly together and firmly placed them in the middle of her desk right in front of her. After that, she started treating me like I was one of her favorite students......B**ch

My friend that was in that girl's year came to me half way thru the day and said she Jerard the girl in computer class talking about how to get off schools property without me seeing her. 😆 bullies will bully who they think they can

When I was 12, my 14 year old cousin and me would always be the designates babysitters for our multiple toddler cousins. One day, the adults where having a bbq in the backyard so we where in the basement. Our other older cousin came down with ice cream and we asked her to go upstairs since we didn't want the kids begging for ice cream that we couldn't afford. She refused, so without thinking, I slapped her hand up and that ended up shoving ice cream up her nose. She ran upstairs crying. I regret nothing.

Might be a little less interesting, but genuinely the best thing I said to my ex. They loved to start fights and I would always be to blame for whatever was the issue, but that was later in the relationship. The way our fights usually happened was they bring up an issue, I'd take accountability, they'd ignore my apology, they'd keep up the fight for a while longer, then I'd threaten to leave and they'd finally stop. To give you an idea about how ridiculous these fights were, they brought up a person("you know XYZ?") which they talked about said person not too long ago, so I said something along the lines of "yeah, you bring them up all the time" Which they hadn't, and they pointed it out, so I corrected myself and said continue, but they continued to say "no, I don't bring up this person all the time." I agreed and said they could say what they were about to say but it turned into a huge fight cause they just couldn't let it go.!they were going on about how I'd "changed" and all that, which I really hadn't, but that was from my perspective. Since they started setting up fights a lot more, my rebuttle was that they were projecting onto me. They had wanted me to come over the next day so I eventually said "since you seem so mad at me, I won't come over" and they just said "no, it's fine just come over" which I stupidly did. They apologized to me and said they had noticed they were the one acting different and they'd try to do better. Since all the other fights would typically end with me apologizing for hours with them ignoring it and further degrading me, this was a huge win for me, but the next morning I woke up to a text from them saying they talked to their therapist and they think we need a mediator. Keep in mind, they were a freshman, I was a sophomore. We're not an old married couple. I said I thought we resolved this and they replied "I only apologized because that's what you wanted to hear." I still think I'm an idiot for not dumping their ass then and there, but another fight and a few days later, they asked if I was okay and I said I'm fine. It wasn't in the way where I'm hiding my feelings or I would've said something satirical about being sad like "stress, depression, life's kinda messy" but alas, they claimed they knew me better than that and demanded to know what was wrong. I was so annoyed by them thinking they had a right to my mind and knew it better, but if it's a lie they want to hear... I was also annoyed from the fight so I replied "I only said that cause that's what you wanted to hear." when I tell you they were pissed, they were PISSED. "Do you know how toxic you sound right now??? You don't say that to people! How dare you!" I then referred them to when they said that to me on a bigger issue than my current state of being, screenshots and all, and when I finally left them, I looked it up -- that was the only time I got a genuine apology from them. I had to beg for it too. They ruined all the progress I had with my mental health so I mean it when I say I may have acted toxic towards them, but they fucking deserved it. I'm still facing the effects today.
Tl;dr: ex apologized once after many fights, took it back the next day saying "cause that's what I wanted to hear", got annoyed after they claimed my "I'm fine" was ingenuine, used the same line against them. They got pissed, told me off, I said no u.

At one of my foster homes I was I years ago, there was a boy younger than me and he use to hurt himself to put the blame of me and have me get in trouble ( I mean literally ran into a brick wall and almost broke his shoulder, probably mental now) and I hated him because he never got caught even to this day. But we had a Labrador puppy and was a very very hypoactive dog. One day the girl decided to jump and latch her teeth onto the boy I hated testicles and just hung for a few minutes. Karma is a bitch. When I was in middle school, a guy bullied me constantly, he was 6feet already and I was 5 feet 2, he always pulled my hood on my head then down in front, tapping my shoulder then playing dumb, small things like that. One day of winter, the whole school playground was covered in snow and he kept throwing snowballs at my back and I told him "stop and you will regret it, I'm gonna hit you" he threw one last snowball to the back of my head, I was raging, totally furious, I made a very compacted snowball and didn't threw it but smashed it right in his face, making his nose bleed and breaking his glasses in half. He went whining to the school's principal's secretary, who was watching kids outside, and told her I broke his glasses, she sighed, asked me to apologize,I said the most fake apologies ever and she sent us back, asking us not to bully anyone ever again. He stopped bullying me. Years later, we chatted through messenger and he told me that he had been madly crushing on me and only came up with this idea to get my attention.

Here’s a good spot to put my story. I’m gonna try to make a long story short.::😊
It was way back when I was 16 years Old, Scotty was my boyfriend. Janet was his sister, Mark was her boyfriend. When the summertime exhibition was over around midnight, we got into marks car, Scott and I sat in the back of the car. they decide to take a ride to the country I certainly didn’t know they’re plans or why we were going their,,
it was all dirt road and farms were like a mile apart. Cows you know other animals were in the field, and there were no lights whatsoever. It was pitch black outside, It was pretty dark out there, I could only see the back lights of the car driving away from me
All three had a plan to dump me off and drove off without me!
I couldn’t understand why they wanted to pull a prank like that on me, it took them 10 minutes before they got me out of the car. I clench so tired with my finger nails, on the backseat upholstery in leather, I started yelling, quit it quit it stop why are you doing this? I was not happy at all, so they kept on dragging me pulling me out while I was holding on to my stuffed animals I got from the exhibition along with my candy apple that I was bringing back home.
They threw me out so hard onto the ground where I scrape both my elbows . Then all three got back into the car and start driving away. .. oh I was shocked, the only noises I could hear is the cows and horses running in the pasture, this is when the car took off, squealing on the gravel stones on the dirt road creating all this dust .So I stood their for not more than three minutes until I heard a voice. A voice that was calling me back so I looked at the back of the car. The back red lights turned on, so I start running towards the car, got in the backseat, buckled up my seatbelt and didn’t say anything to anyone. All I had to do was eat my candy apple and waited until all 3 changed their flat tire.😂

I have a somewhat confusing story to tell. So when I was a kid there are this kid who annoyed me non-stop, calling me different and offensive names, always away from adults and teachers, I can't say he was a bully because I was way bigger than him and I occasionally ended up hitting him until he shut up, only for the next day hedo it again. Things are became pretty weird and he used to smile in a weird way while getting hit which made me start to ignore him completely, which made him go into such a state of despair that he started yelling the usual insults in all places he saw me but I just ignored it, finally one of the teachers got tired of it and escalated things to the principal and he left the school. Now, almost twenty years later, I'm visiting another state when someone taps me on the shoulder, I turn around just to see this woman looking at me and smiling, it turns out that the girl was no one but the same boy who pissed me off at childhood, he had come out of the closet and gone through a transition, she apologized to me for everything and confessed that she annoyed me because I was her crush and felt that that was the only way to get my attention, in the end she even asked for my number. I said I was happy that she was happy and that I wished her the best but that I was straight but I didn't mind being friends, she thanked her for the offer and left, we are friends on facebook now.

This happened in the late 1980s . . . my rural Midwest town got a new head football coach--mid 30s, good looking guy, kind of jacked, etc. He caused quite the stir with the women in town. It wasn't too long before he started making the rounds among several of the wives--he always went after married women. It was his way of "establishing dominance" over the other men in town. He was very much that kind of a guy. Well, one night as he left his favorite bar, he was jumped by five guys wearing ski masks. They beat him nearly to death with sawed-off pool cues. He broke some bones and lost some teeth, and left town shortly thereafter. They never found out who did it, but my buddy's dad (who divorced his wife in 1989) apparently still wistfully smirks whenever the guy's name is mentioned.

And it took me some time to reevaluate myself because once people see you as one way it's stuck on you, as if people don't grow and change smh. @@himitsuchan37 I disagree, I feel like to an extent it's excusable because when talking about a child's upbringing it is more understandable as to why they act that way. As a kid you don't really know what's right or wrong that's why parents have to teach it to you. My parents didn't exactly teach me that and children are very "monkey see monkey do". What people found wrong I found right because this was how my parents treated each other and me. It was normal to me. And also as a victim of horrible parenting a lot of the things that were huge problems in my household were not something I looked at as a problem cause it was normal. (This is something that sometimes happens to a lot of victims of abuse and bad relationships, they don't recognize the problems in it to even want to leave- sometime) I thought parents fighting verbally and physically were normal. I thought parents hitting their children were normal, etc. It took a lot of self reflecting and realizations to realize it wasn't and I don't think anyone could necessarily understand how it feels to be in the shoes that I was. Cause it's very easy to judge and be like "well you shouldn't be doing this and that because of the things you're dealing with at home" and while I do agree to an extent but like I said when you're raised in that type of environment as a child you tend to adopt certain toxic behaviors. I don't think I have met anyone who grew In the same environment or worse and hasn't gone through some type of change.

I was a fat nerd growing up with autism, sooo… yeah, I had some bullies. My best revenge has always been turning them into friends (which I did with Todd* and George* in junior high and high school, respectively [* who knows?-that might be their real names…]).
Yet two more were gradeschool bullies I just couldn’t do anything about, but I was pretty young; I just didn’t have the capacity.
Another-Scott*-I actually tried to set on the right path. Sort of a frenemy, he would hang with me cyclically, being very nice until he felt like breaking me down. (I don’t maintain friendships well, and I thought that’s how some of them went). When we were freshmen, he got really drunk-like, falling down and possibly alcohol poisoning-one night, and I convinced him to go back to his house. He tried to refuse me, knowing his parents were home (their car was in the driveway, after all), and they couldn’t see him “like this.” I convinced him that they had gone out sharing their friends’ vehicle. Of course, when we walked through the front door, they were watching TV in the living room.
Scott looked shocked and a bit sad, but his parents were very concerned. I told them this was not the first time I had seen him drunk, but I didn’t know if they knew that he had been drinking regularly… that he really needed help. I told him I was sorry… said I loved him too much to let him keep doing this to himself without saying something. Then I left. I haven’t spoken to him in 36 years. I hope he’s doing better.
Another older bully-likely my worst-was Matt*. In addition to harassing me, he physically assaulted me twice (not resulting in injury, but I digress). I knew that he had a problem with drugs, and when I heard he had a heart attack in high school, I’ll admit that I was happy, because I thought that’s how karma worked (that’s not how karma works), but now I’m happy to know that he seems to have taken a turn for the better and is doing very well for himself.
This last one I’m not proud of… and also I am… the thought of which is at times troublesome.
Brian* was a multisport star at my school. He never bullied me, as his tactics seemed more physical, and I was bigger and stronger than him (just not interested in sports), but he ruthlessly belittled underclassmen and anyone he felt was lesser than him.
I emember one time when we were juniors, he was picking on a freshman who I new peripherally. I walked right up to the freshman-while he was taking shit from Brian- and earnestly interrupted, “Hey, John*, do you know what time it is? because my watch seems to be screwed up…”
John looked away from Brian to me then back at Brian, at which time I looked at Brian with a blank expression, holding his gaze for a few seconds until he just walked away. John thanked me, and I offered to walk him to class. He answered, “I’m good, bro (1990),” to which I replied, “Ok… just come find me if you need anything.”
I hated Brian. I hated everything he stood for in those moments: picking on the awkward, the ill-equipped, the young, the meek-everything I once was.
I wished him dead. They’ll pull someone off those benches to take his places. Get dead, Brian.
Then that summer, he died in a drunk driving accident. They put a huge spread in the yearbook about Beloved Brian, how he will be missed… but I knew better. The halls would be safer without him. John and his ilk might walk to class or lunch or the bathroom without that twisting in the pit of their stomachs. Who knows what Brian might’ve someday changed into? Who knows what he might’ve contributed… eventually? but I didn’t care, and-ibidem-I still don’t… and do.
Am I a good or bad person to feel either way? I do know people are complicated and can hold mutually exclusive emotions and thoughts. Perhaps Brian did, perhaps not.
I know that violence begets violence, and despite any immediate satisfaction, it is not cathartic long-term.
Anyone who took the time to read this, thank you for hearing my stories. If you’re just a ‘reader,’ goodonya. If you were or are being bullied, I don’t have any directly practical advice for you. Nor can I in good conscience tell you that it will get better, because that hope is a sinking ship.
I can, however, say this: be as authentic as your comfort will allow, and you will earn every ounce of respect sent your way… and your people will find you.

the boy/girl at 13:00. that was not revenge... that was just assault... Someone "messed with your chair", and you responded by physically attacking two people who were unprepared / unthreatening. And you're proud of it...

To the lady who hit the guy in the nuts with the tuba case u should acted sorry and tried to help him up apologizing accidentally stepping on his hand and kneeling on his stomach and whatnot.
I seen a kid do that to a bully infront of a teacher and the act was convincing enough he didn't get in trouble. I want to travel back in time and shake that kids hand.

Really goes to show that people think it's fine to assault someone and wish permanent damage of someone if they're male. I'm also pretty sure that 70% of these are just r/thathappened stories.

    My petty revenge:
My mother likes to wear slippers indoors, all year round. One day she told me off for something I didn't do, my brother did it, and she sent me to bed early.
So on my way up I took off one of her slippers and placed it just out of reach.
She told me to come and put it back on but I was like, no can do, I've been sent to bed!

Revenge? Glue some tire balancing weights to the inside of their rims. It will be something they can always feel.

That trip prank, idk why but there is always some little jerk in any school do this, triping people and all. But as always, I never let them do me second time. After first time they succesfully trip me, okay, but my revenge is hurts. So, bcs I now know which kid try to trip me I always on the look out so I know whenever they extending their foot to trip me, I instead stomping in his foot as hard as I can atm. If I am prepared, then it will be really painful and they will be rolling on floor but if not then they will ouch and hold their foot. And I will, "oops, idk your foot was there" and never say iam sorry lol

Hymmmm. I'm a little surprised that nobody suggested putting a glass of water in their gas tanks. This won't damage the car but it won't start either. Since water in the gas tank does occur naturally...

Regarding the possum story: we did something similar. My grandad had possums that would raid the chicken and pigeon pens, so when one would show up, it ballistically went "bye-bye". We put the carcass (mercifully, in a plastic bag), into the foot of a sleeping bag. Then we (grandad included) waited in the darkened house for him to go into the camper. Dead silence "thump. . . rustle. . . rustle, rustle. . . THAT'S MESSED UP! THAT'S MESSED UP! . . . SCREW YOU GUYS! THAT'S MESSED UP!
This is what we do if we like you.
If we don't . . we kind of shun you.
P.S. the guy was my cousin. There are many more stories of humor like this. (when I say grace, I cover my food)

I didnt even have to do anything for mine.
My friend decided he was gonna throw me in the snow by tackling me. He bounced off my backpack and landed face first in the snow and I didnt even flinch. The look of shame was brilliant.

That abuse story that happened to me so many reports so many people saw things the child welfare system did nothing. I’ve tried to write a book but every-time I try I get so angry. They stole my childhood and set me up to fail in adult life.

I have no idea what happened to this bully.
In second grade, Shane tried to throttle me... IN class, with the teacher sitting three desks away. That woman =promised= to hold him for 5 minutes after school let out, and clearly did NOT, as I didn't even escape the block the school was on when he caught up with me.
Shane also caught me alone in an alley after this, and forced me to smoke down half of a cigarette. My compliance seemed to bore him, so he left, and as soon as he rounded the corner, I stomped that butt right out!
He may have done more, probably did. It's been over 4 decades. Shane was his real name, but I don't know his last name. If I could look him up, I would thank him. He's a huge part of why I've never wasted money on smokes in my life.
