Peach Cobbler with ice-cream

- PEACHES IN SYRUP
1 lb. of frozen sliced peaches
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
simmer in a pot on medium high heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
BATTER
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 1/2 cup of sugar
a dash (1/2 tsp) of baking powder
1 cup of milk
Mix everything together until the batter is smooth.
Set the oven to 350f and melt 1 stick of in a baking dish in the oven. After the butter has melted
pour the batter over the melted butter but do not stir. Next add the peaches on top of the batter without stirring, then slowly pour the syrup on top of the peaches and batter. DO NOT STIR! As the cobbler bakes everything will come together on its own.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the cobbler before baking. (this is totally optional)
Bake at 350f for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Every oven is different to it's important to keep an eye on the cobbler. Allow the cobbler to cool down for about 15 minutes, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
