@@davincisdemons3126 I feel like the line we got in Horizon Forbidden West and just kinda the whole vibe of this game's treatment of things this round says Cyan won't return, but it would be sick. And yeah, combining maps is a huge demand amongst players. Soo much work on Guerilla though probably updated Zero Dawn map.

:) Just FYI, the whole conversation (except the first sentences about CYAN and the Banuk, is common if you complete the DLC after discovering all the Gaia stuff.
Also, if you do FW as a whole at that point, the Banuk Shaman that upgrades your spear has (slightly) different dialogue. On my second play through I went there asap to get that coil slot on my spear, and noticed that the dialogue had changed.

Well if anyone has played Forbidden West and read the description. A little spoiler ahead It isn't completely far off from the truth. Sylens of course is not after Omega clearance, he just wants Apollo so he can learn more. Not the grandest of goals but man does he take the wackiest ways to get what he wants. Forming 2 armies across 2 games just to read some books.
Well... Sylens goal in hfw IS to leave earth and get to the oddyssy to only later utilize Gia to seed life on another planet. As it rings true, he wanted to ESCAPE Nemesis and rebuild human civilization elsewhere. So... Sylens actually wanted to use Gia. Which means Aloy grabbing omega access WAS required to complete his overall goal. BUT... Gia had no hephestus... Why did Sylens stay!!! I have a video on Sylens specifically. With a theory in the description.

Yeah me too because CYAN has accepted that Anita (along with the rest) died, it’s nice the writers probably determined that Aloy would not be like “ I know you know Anita is dead given the time passing, but let me tell you exactly what happened to her in her actual last moments… *proceeds to explain the dark tragedy* ” that’d be pretty cruel of Aloy to do as it would tarnish and worsen Cyan’s mourning. I’d like to assume if Cyan would be able to reconnect to the world again through the remaining technology and during the process of resurrecting Gaia, CYAN would be able to discover the specifics of Anita’s death. The only gain from that would be for Cyan to begin the process to rebuild APOLLO and recover the erased history to not only honor her mother but also to spite what Ted had done to her mother and humanity.

Cyan will be back by horizon 3 for sure. I'm still searching for more foreshadows to cyan in hfw. Cyan was mentioned however, seemed like a later day forshadow more than an any time soon foreshadow.

You can talk to cyan twice. It's considered rare because this is the second conversation with cyan. At the end of the clip, sylens says farewell. Because this happens right before looming shadow. Most people don't go back.
and what makes them rare exactly all conversations with Cyan are available to everyone and i think Only the part where Sylens speak with Aloy is gone can't remember exactly if you play it after the main story
Simple enough u need the Lance from sylens before these questions open up. Without that Lance, you gotta go back for these questions. So it's rarity is determined by game progress. But some ppl could easily miss these questions entirely.

So Gia can utilize that code and Apollo to fix earth. While sylens stated hephestus may not be needed at all. So gia flirted the idea of hephestus staying free for a while at the least. But what sylens said further promotes our hopes to see hephestus as an ally. Maybe hephestus will merge with cyan in a more friendly manner.

Why is the conversation rare? Just want to know so I don't miss it. Haven't watched the video, because of the spoilers, but I saved it for later viewing.
You can approach this dialog in 2 ways. 1. More cinematical... do the frozen wilds before completing every mission with Sylens. There is a point of no return in the story so that's a good place to head towards the frozen wilds. In this situation, you'll complete the frozen wilds and will have to come back to the cut AFTER every mission involving Sylens (Gia prime is the last one). So option 1 is to come back to Cyan for these questions to open up. 2. Less cinematical for the story. Finish Gia prime before completing the frozen wilds. And once you reach Cyan, every question will open up without needing to come back. Keep in mind, every side mission must be found! So explore every area. Especially if it looks like a settlement. You'll need to be lvl 40 to approach the frozen wilds so do every side mission you can if you want to go to the cut before the point of no return.

@@Crisper_von_Doom all you want for ultra are the weapons from frozen wilds. And 1 of the weapons from the lodge is better than the frozen wilds weapon (blast sling). And with that, ultra is easy enough but u still take damage without the banuk suits with special weave attachments... frozen wilds cauldron is still difficult no matter what weapons you use.
@@davincisdemons3126 I'm actually planning on getting there right off for the spear upgrade. Not sure what other weapons open up when you do the dlc, but I have noticed that new and powerful weapons arrive in sync with major story advancement.
Essentially, if you don't get sylens Lance before doing the frozen wilds, then this dialog is what's left to come back to if you finish frozen wilds first. It's simply possible to miss.
Well in order for the last set of questions to open up with Cyan, you must get the Lance from Sylens first, at Gia prime. So it's rarity is determined by how much game is complete before finishing the frozen wilds. Sometimes people go through the story and finish frozen wilds before Sylens gives Aloy the Lance. Anyone in that boat would have to come back to Cyan before looming shadow, after the Lance was received at Gia prime, to open the final set of questions for Cyan. Having to come back makes it rare. But people who don't do all the side missions first will usually get to the frozen wilds late enough in the game to have every question open with Cyan because you should be level 40 to walk into the frozen wilds.

CYAN predicted the Forbidden West plotline with dealimg with bringing GAIA and her Sub-functions together.
Not so much a prediction than the writers setting up for a sequel. It was already kinda obvious what the next game would end up being about.

So option 1 is to come back to Cyan for these questions to open up.
2. Less cinematical for the story. Finish Gia prime before completing the frozen wilds. And once you reach Cyan, every question will open up without needing to come back.
Keep in mind, every side mission must be found! So explore every area. Especially if it looks like a settlement. You'll need to be lvl 40 to approach the frozen wilds so do every side mission you can if you want to go to the cut before the point of no return.
@@davincisdemons3126 is that lvl 40 in normal difficulty? I'll assume on UH I should be on lvl 55-60, then. (Yeah, I started the first run through on UH. When I hit NG+ it should be a cakewalk.)
@@Crisper_von_Doom all you want for ultra are the weapons from frozen wilds. And 1 of the weapons from the lodge is better than the frozen wilds weapon (blast sling). And with that, ultra is easy enough but u still take damage without the banuk suits with special weave attachments... frozen wilds cauldron is still difficult no matter what weapons you use.
@@davincisdemons3126 I'm actually planning on getting there right off for the spear upgrade. Not sure what other weapons open up when you do the dlc, but I have noticed that new and powerful weapons arrive in sync with major story advancement.

It's the stealth suit. But I wanna say it's because of covid. I only use stealth suits because I can walk right by machines.

Essentially, if you don't get sylens Lance before doing the frozen wilds, then this dialog is what's left to come back to if you finish frozen wilds first.
It's simply possible to miss.
How to get back to Cyan.?
She's in the same place. Oureas spot. But you must have sylens Lance for these questions to pop up. Which is the Gia prime mission.
How is it rare if you don’t mind me asking
Well in order for the last set of questions to open up with Cyan, you must get the Lance from Sylens first, at Gia prime. So it's rarity is determined by how much game is complete before finishing the frozen wilds.
Sometimes people go through the story and finish frozen wilds before Sylens gives Aloy the Lance. Anyone in that boat would have to come back to Cyan before looming shadow, after the Lance was received at Gia prime, to open the final set of questions for Cyan.
Having to come back makes it rare.
But people who don't do all the side missions first will usually get to the frozen wilds late enough in the game to have every question open with Cyan because you should be level 40 to walk into the frozen wilds.

It's rarity is determined by how far someone is in the game. Meaning if you don't get the Lance from Sylens before speaking with Cyan, then you'll have to come back to Cyan after getting the Lance...
These are only the questions that open up after getting Sylens Lance. So it's rare enough.
