Auntie Linda how are you doing iam Arabic lady subscriber to several British and American TH-cam channels i didn’t send comments to you from long time merry Christmas may joy warmth of this holiday season stay in heart all through out year enjoy magic of Christmas season take out to celebrate with people you love many happy returns best wishes for you your family friends
Such a fun store and the owners/operators have put their hearts in it. Of course support local businesses like this, they have surely presented vintage and thrifted items and cared for them well. All businesses need to 'make money'..that's what it is about, they provide a service and do the work to make what they 'find' presentable and desirable! There is a mix of new and old, what could be better! Suit most tastes and of course provide inspiration for your own home, workspace, reading nook, getaway space! All of it very good!
I'm an artificial tree because I keep it up at least a full 2 months. I love the glow of lit tree on dark winter night. Fill it out with real branches/sprigs for December that remove when dry out so have the natural tree smell for Christmas. My garden/ yard is under blanket of snow here in Newmarket Ontario, so yours is looking lush a green to me! (My boxwoods/evergreens are hidden under snow too)
I would just like to thank you,Lovely Linda, for such brilliant videos, cameraheld by Good Stewart. A fine team you are, truly! A merriest, most blessed Christmas to all of you! What I am thankful for the most,is that people like you, you’re not just making videos for videos sake, you end up keeping such good company, and I,amongst others,I’m sure, very much appreciate your company. You do it so sincerely, and clearly, with love. I thank you,so very much for the company🥰
Linda, I believe the wooden German figurines are called 'smokers'. Yes, they are from Germany and you put a stub of incense inside them. The smoke comes out of their mouth or such, depending on the design. I understand the convenience and economics of artificial greenery but I too have discarded my artificial greenery garland. It was too much to store and always looked bad. I now use fresh cedar sprigs and tuck them in on my mantel around some decor. It just feels good and fresh.
Omg! Again 3 hours video! I will take it! Today a little, tomorrow I have party for my friends but Sunday and Monday looks good. I’m happy to watch every minute of this collage. Merry Christmas to all! 🎄🌲🎄🌲
Loved meeting your son! Even though I know this is an old video. He should be very proud to have a mother like you! A successful content creator/influencer !! Hope to see more of him and your other son :)
Just getting a chance to watch this, Linda, and I am thoroughly enjoying it! Regarding the weather, I live west of Chicago, and although we had -11 degrees recently, it was in the mid ti upper 60’s, yesterday!
This has taken me almost a week to watch , but it was so worth it ! What a great idea, Linda. What fun to watch you cook with your adorable son🥰 I also loved seeing the comparisons of how you decorated for Christmas from a quiet stay at home Christmas to a family Christmas! Brilliant 👏🏻
What a fun video. I just love that shop. You gave me some ideas to put in a couple areas in my home. I was looking for some little trees that would go into some glass cabinets in my kitchen keeping room area. Thanks again for always showing unique shops and some holiday favorites of mine. Sending hugs, ❤❤❤🎄❤️love, prayers and kindness to you and your beautiful family and friends.❤🌲❤️
One year I use artificial tree, the next more simple and natural decor. This year I made natural German garden-inspired Christmas decoration using rear tree, fresh fir tree branches and moss from my yard. A lot of such things are zero waste and you can compost them without storing throughout the year.
It was my sis-in-law's bday Fri. Thanks 2 me she caught the gardening bug so I cut all the flowers I had left in the garden along w some grassy fronds and made her an arrangement 4 the new vase I bought her...of course my bro was thrilled 2.have more smelly flowers in his house😅
A good variety of things in your video. I love the simplicity of the flower arrangement ❤. Chicken soup is always good. Happy Christmas Linda to you and your family 🎄🎄🎄🎅🏻
My grandchildren have cross stitch stockings I did for them. This year I have filled little knit Christmas stockings for each little grand. I also have Byer Carolers I sit out each Christmas. Since my husband is in a Rehab Center, I don’t have lots of decorations, just tree and mantle. I believe the fun of all this is getting ‘prepared’ for the holidays. Merry Christmas🎄❤️
Those glass beads are from Ghana-I have several strings of them and even got to watch them being made at the factory in Ghana a couple years ago! They’re made from recycled glass bottles
Playing Danny Wright Holiday from Pandora! So appreciate your suggestion 🎼I listen to this playlist of Danny Wright a lot!! MerRy CHRISTmas Linda❤️so enjoy your channel ❤️you make us viewers feel so much of your family 🎄MerRy CHRISTmas to Stewart also🎄
Love your videos! I would love to see a video or list of what to see and do in Oklahoma City for a day or weekend. Best hotels, bed and breakfast places, pet friendly hotels, areas to stay in, gardens to visit, nurseries and garden centers, gift stores, thrift shops, restaurants, museums, hidden gem places, locals favorites burritos, etc. p.s. thanks for all you do!
I mostly go to a place like this for the eye candy & to get ideas (that I can re use something in my own home or thift for) but I just love shops like this especially at Holiday time!
I love blue & white & there were some nice items. Lovely store. Inspiration & must haves. I love shells in my bathrooms. I'm in there often so great place for faves.
MM: So fun ..tinsel xmas trees ..we had a silver one a s a kid - had forgotten all about that ! And we had those little ones with the tiny baubles on the end. Memories :) Wish I had kept all Mum's old xmas dec's now haha. LOVE your jeans
We’re living in a very modern home. We’re looking for ideas. We’re content to curate the new to us style.Having fewer things everywhere feels calm, relaxing, and surprisingly gives us joy. We haven’t chucked all of our previous decor, but rehomed most of it. Feels like we can breathe.
This is the first year in ages I can't walk to what was my favorite local store for gifts (including things for me!). Fern's Garden moved out when lease rates went up and sadly the street jut North of me has now become mostly eating places and banks.
I leave the leaves where they fall. In the PNW, the birds get bugs that hide under them during the winter. Later on toward Spring, I take the leaf blower with the mulching attachment, and mulch the flower beds, while weeding.
In regards to those African beads, because I am a 30 years of collecting, these are, believe it or not, cola bottle glass beads, typically from Ghana, but sometimes other places. I have thousands of beads, this is one of my great passions! This is a very long video, don’t be surprised if I continue to comment as I go! Actually,I’m a nutty watch nut,and her whiz, your watch,it thrills me! This is a former watch,by the looks of it,more chunky,it is very lovely.
What is so nutty is that there is no snow up here in Ohio,in fact,I have my windows a bit open,it’s 3:30 am,still open,I like it on the cold side, but if it was snowing, clearly they would not be open. I haven’t turned my furnace on yet,but will very soon
Hello Linda i am in zone 5 in Wisconsin. We blow our leaves in the street for the city to pick up. They mulch the leaves and spread them over the parks here that's why all the parks grass is so nice and green. Silly us don't want all the leave on our grass so some of us pay to have company come and fertilize the grass. I don't i fertilize my own. LOL
I have already donated all of my fake greenery. Use to cover banisters, mirrors, mantel and doorways. Will be editing all of my Christmas decor this year.
That shop is amazing! I would really be looking for ideas to freshen up what I have. Maybe add a special piece. I’m new to your channel and really enjoyed the tours in your home and your friends.
Thank you for the soup recipe. I’m looking forward to making it soon. Can anyone direct me to the video for the concoction to keep paper whites short when forcing the bulbs? I’ve looked but can’t find the link for or the video. Thanks in advance.
I hope you read this comment. The two german wooden people are intense burners. They pull apart then you insert the little insence cone and the smoke comes out the mouth.
Love loved that santa. We should so an spring Oklahoma gals swap n shop Linda :) it is so fun to do a swap n shop. We could do a fun tea day swap in shop and each bring a few things to swap. I could bring some quiches too. Im in Tulsa area :)
I love this long video. I have a fake tree I went from 6’ to 7’ because I’ve been Collecting a lot of Hallmark magic cord ornaments which was overcrowding my small tree. It’s a lot of work but this year I took my time. So good to see your son down for Xmas I remembered you had made that soup the last time he was down. Do you blow off the leaves on your porch as well I just let the gardener do it since we don’t have that much leaves as you have.
Hey gal just bought a 6 ft gold vintage glitter Xmas tree 20.00 wow. I put it in front of my huge picture window so you can see it from the road. I got some nice decorative large Xmas ornaments creamy and gold accent 4.99 and 2 cute little sheep. Love it I miss my huge Xmas tree outside we had to cut down 2017 when I bought the house. My son cut it down and we left the trunk like a totem pole which I have a large birdhouse on top for the birds. Where can I send you a pic of my tree it is very unique and looks like a million bucks lol merry Xmas thanks for sharing
I do most of my Christmas shopping all year long, but I love to shop for ideas and occasionally find something that I can't leave behind🌲I so enjoy your ideas and sometimes they lead me to reconsider what I have done...in a good way. I also suggest that you walk back through a space since you often see things differ upcoming from a different direction.🌲
That Pendleton blanket at $125 was a steal. I live in the home of Pendleton in Oregon and that would be worth twice that price here. If you take care of them they will last forever.
Wood and wood tones seem to be declining in popularity for almost a decade and it still seems to be an entrenched trend. So the coral paint in the interior of the hutch does seem to be an update of sorts. Just wondering how long this trend will continue.
...and while I am at it...what happened to red and green dominating the holiday decor? ...I certainly recognize the trend but I have a certain loyalty to the past so I am struggling with the trendy decor. I think you are a bit more into what is trending.

I started using artificial tree as it dries up so fast. Loved all yr ideas. Merry Christmas.
When I visit those stores I look for gifts and for me! I’ve no self control! Lol!
I just did this , this year, a massive purge of christmas dec. Filled the back of the SUV to donate.
I did, too…it was time to clean out the garage & I did it this Spring. (Its a lot easier to get rid of when it’s not the season to decorate.)
Wish I had be of been around, I would have gladly taken them off your hands.
