Omg!! 🤣🤣🤣 I am still rolling on the floor with laughter…serious, out loud laughter!!! This is the best Homeworthy episode with the most authentic, relatable, funny, quirky, artsy, FABULOUS homeowner!!! Absolutely adored every minute of it…thank you!!❤
Now this is Homeworthy!!!!! I could listen to her all day. Her home is full of LOVE! Let’s visit her again around Christmas and please let us meet ‘ole Dave next time.
@@donnarowell8281 omg! Yes the Together!!! Besides she said Hd is an amazing carpenter ! I Absolutely love her and their home!!! True girt right there!!! 😆
@@bunjijumper5345 I think it is most likely imitation. Faux animal prints have been wildly, no pun intended, popular in women's fashion for a long time. However, the Zebra print was a new one for me.
This was the most interesting, fun-filled episode ever. Valorie Hart is the warmest, most authentic person, I was enthralled by her commentary as she showed us around her most Homeworthy house. It's so personal to her and her partner. She cracked me up with the story of trying to smuggle in the chaise lounge! Love her wrapping paper wallpaper and the fabulous De Gournay curtain. Man, I want those card thanksgiving turkey decorations from Target in America and the designer makes cushions as well!!! Thank you for the wonderful tour ❤
Love this lady and her attitude is amazingly humble and very fun! I am so thankful to have learned about her real life stories and her experiences. This lady has the best sense of humor! Her cat’s name is awesome! I wish more people would be able to be more authentic and honest with their true feelings about interior design. She seems like such a warm and loving lady. Thanks to this wonderful lady for sharing her home and authentic stories without being pretentious and egotistical. She cracked me up, while speaking about her “authentic, luxury hand-painted wrapping paper stapled on the wall”. As she mentioned, de Gournay wallpaper is extremely overpriced and not budget-friendly for most people. She mentioned that she grew up from working class folks and she continues to have the same budget-conscious mindset. ❤❤ Thanks Homeworthy for sharing this absolutely amazing lady’s story !
One of my all-time favorite tours. So much soul. Plenty of stories with intrigue and depth. Wisdom, maturity and style. I wish more tours were this captivating.
YOU ARE SO WORTHY! What a beautiful soul and wonderfully collected life. Her home expresses her journey and that of her husband’s. She is not dressy or stuffy. I think the moral is HAVE FUN and enjoy the process of creativity without the boundaries or confines of trends and social media. Thank you for giving us the courage to express ourselves without shame in our homes! 80’s punk rock lady 4 president!
I think this is one of my favourite tours because this lady is so darn relatable! Love her humor and her energy and her serendipitous approach to life, relationships and home decor- Much Love from Canada
I wasn’t even 5 minutes into this episode of Homeworthy…I had to pause and start rearranging my hall. Had to have a little table with a lamp. The table is a cane elephant I’ve had forever. Came back, pressed play, and…in Valerie’s sitting room…the same cane elephant.. Valerie I share your Bohemian Soul. Hello from Australia. Best Homeworthy ever..
She was delightful! One of the best episodes I have seen on homeworthy in a long time. I throughly enjoyed every minute of her and her home. She brings life to life. Thank you homeworthy for this one!,
For the very first time, I post a comment here on Homeworthy because Omg! I love this lady so much! She’s so cool and funny and her style is so much fun!
She's just great i love listening to her talk. One of the very VERY few episodes I didn't fast forward as soon as I see them sitting and talking again as it's usually an immense bore, but not this time. Fully enjoyed the tour as well thank you x
There we have it! Someone who has lived and loved life to its fullest. No apologies, no excuses, just a sense of appreciation for all the experiences, and the blessings of having lived them.
Valorie you are wonderful. What a lovely experience sharing your home, your history, your life, your soul. I so resonate with your spirit and style. Thank you
I love this lady! So easy going and unpretentious! And love that she can laugh at herself! What a great personality- never taking things too seriously! A+
Valorie you are a breath of fresh air. You are by far the best Homeworthy host, I've watched so far. Great home. Homeworthy should hire you to be the host of their channel.
Thank you for having us dear Valorie, it was such a treat to listen to your stories , your hometour and experiences! I love your style and humor, its perfect! It is for sure one of the best episode on this channel! Have a fantastic time♥❤❤♥💐🏵🌹🌻
I just purchased Ms Hart's book because I love bohemian style and New Orleans. So this video was on time. Love, love, love your home, absolutely nothing pretentious about it. The green curtains, floor to ceiling pictures, pictures on doors and books everywhere. How she talks about her sweetheart, her many careers and sense of humor. Ms Hart is a gem.
Valorie is not only an obviously wonderful, authentic artist but a truely exppressive, captivating storyteller also, literally taking us along on a wonderful venture of her home and her vibrant life. Such a breath of fresh air to say the least.....
Great home and video. The original wild and crazy girl created a wild and crazy home! Such an interesting person and so down-to-earth. Love you Valorie.
Absolutely charming and cool woman. I could move in her house and not change a thing! What a cozy and whimsical home. Exactly my kind of style. And I've got to find these black and white tiled mats.
Very interesting life she has been living! One asset for the old house is David’s being so handy and accommodating, an unsung hero! A well matched pair
I love your "happy hodgepodge." It is so refreshing to see a house that is so unique, personal and colorful, full of personality that expresses your interests and tastes. Yeah for originality!
Absolutely loved every minute of her and her cute cozy house. This is so me and my Husband in our separate sleeping quarters at that age. I chuckled every time she used the word Corny because that is my favorite noun to use as well…Thanks Homeworthy!
I'm not even ten minutes along and i had to say something, cause this lady is so cool! Her style is awesome, she is so down to earth and I love the little dance she did in front her bar 😆 Edit: getting to the end, and this woman is an absolute precious treasure. So unique, so creative, so many stories, so fun! I enjoyed this.

What a beautiful Southern Belle, she is Delightful and fun! I love her we could be friends! I’m from Louisiana, and We Love Old Homes, I have an old lady( home) myself! Her home is wonderful, and shows the true southern charm!!! Kudos this lady
She is a transplant from New York and her accent leaves little doubt and I believe one must be a native of the south to be considered a Southern Belle but I suppose she is quite the chameoeon.
She is my kind of woman. I laughed my ass off and enjoyed every inch of her home. Cheers! ETA: I have actually had her book in my Amazon shopping cart for a while now. It's no coincidence I'm seeing her video but it is a sign to buy the damn book already ;-)

I have that book and it’s so good! Hers is the first coffee table book I’ve ever bought. She is the epitome of “it’s your thang, do what you wanna do!”
This home was so interesting and I just loved it and the woman was so interesting. Loved the idea of using wrapping paper on the walls. Again, this was was so nice. Love the idea of painting doors black and putting framed paints and paintings on them. I have a similar fireplace in black that does not work. So many great decorating ideas this woman gave us. Love the story of her and Dave and combining furniture and decorations.
I love everything YOU! Your home reminds me of a very cool bar owner along the Bergen, Norway waterfront. He gave me a tour of his ever growing bar that left me mesmerized. He owns many of the oldest wooden buildings in Bergen. He explained simply that you need something beautiful to look at when you’re drinking. No alcohol required here. People must arrive at your home and never want to leave. Your artistic creativity combined with your partner’s work on and love of old wooden homes are the perfect combination in my opinion. I still hold the dream of living in an old home and decorating it with all the beautiful things I’ve started collecting in second hand and antique stores throughout Europe. My next hobby that I’m prepared to start is eclectic painting of unique furniture. I don’t want to destroy any, but want to take destroyed furniture and repair it, or add a little color. I also love recovering furniture, and I’m going to have to pull my stapler out. My granddaughter is on Society Six and studying at a NYC art school. You’ve given me so much inspiration. The TV hidden in your accent wall was gorgeous - I love your stapling hack, and LOVED YOUR VIDEO!!! Thank you for sharing your home and Happy Thanksgiving!

What a vibrant & fun lady! Her life could be a movie. So interesting to see the most intimate home details of a bonafide Bohemian and artist/
Her life truly could be a movie-so fascinating to see the intimate details of a true Bohemian artist’s home.
I liked her very much until I saw the zebra carpet. Imagine living your life only to be killed to make a carpet. Our species is disgusting.
