Linda, you’re such an incredible person. Thank you for all the gift ideas and thought you put into your channel for all of us. I also think this year’s Christmas decor is brilliant. Very garden inspired with the topiaries and pops of red. Very classy, smart lady and I love your style. Thank you! 🌲🎅🏻😘
I ordered the throws .. they will be great gifts to my kids .. we boat in the summer and I love to thrift or estate sale those quilts wonderful for laying over the seats ... Thanks
A gardeners type of Christmas is the true Linda Vater. The frost ferns are so beautiful. Loved all the gift suggestions. Those open toe socks for feet are something I would love under the tree for myself!
The apples I buy in November for Thanksgiving decor are the apples I use in my simmering potpourri I use in December for amazing holiday aroma. I assemble all my citrus and herbs and spices in a crockpot that I hide away in my living area, that way I have total control over the effectiveness of the scent and worry free about turning it off at night.
We keep our stockings up empty (but take them down when we have a fire) until the big night, then I always fill them Christmas eve as our tradition is to open Xmas morning. I grew up in the UK and we didn't have stockings but had a pillowcase at the end of our bed. Also we celebrated SinterKlaas growing up (my mother being Dutch) and we always put a klomp (wooden clog) with a carrot in it, placed at the fireplace. :)
Please take the time with your Family ,home with you and your Hub’s! It’s been 3 years now that my family has been home for the holidays. So enjoy every minute you can with them. We will always be here for your great videos!🥰🎄🎄🎄Merry Christmas
About revisiting your previous videos I love it I am always replaying your videos from the past, always see something that I forgot about, so thank you and Happy Holidays to you and the fam🥰🎄
Great deals. Thank you, Linda. I got in on those vintage. Quilts love them. They are so pretty. I won't get them in time for Christmas. But they will be Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing.
I was surprised on the other video when you had other paper because you said you were using up the old paper! Your home is delightful! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Hi Linda…Hi Stewart…First of all, that October Glory Maple is absolutely beautiful and loving it’s life in that spot…The tree trunk has expanded double its size or more since you planted it…I miss the 3 Autumn Blaze Maples I planted at my old house in NM…Up here in CO, I’m still working on hardscaping and still haven’t researched what Maples would do okay at a higher elevation (7260)…The 4 feet of snow we had early Nov broke so many of my plants😢…A lot of them are buried in snow still today…Thanks for such a wonderful holiday idea video…I’m having to order everything since going out shopping is no longer the easiest…You are beautiful Linda thank you for sharing your sweet 💚…
I love your tradition of hanging the stockings with decorative items inside. They are so charming! I wish we had a mantel and fireplace to hang our stockings by, however we don't. Either way though, our stockings do not make an appearance until Christmas Eve night. 🌲
What great gift ideas! I'm taking two of them - the heated throw (Merry Christmas to me as I'm working in the coldest home office!) and that book. All the decor ideas are wonderful, too! Thank you
Linda, the Michael Aram olive branch cocktail napkin holder is available on line at several sites. Generality it is priced at $70 but Bloomingdale’s currently has it on sale for $52. There are several other motifs available at increased prices.
Thank you for your gift suggestions. I was looking for something a little extra for my Daughter in law and the heel socks caught my attention . I even ordered a set for myself. The cloths from India are wonderful, but I will wait until after the Holidays to treat myself to those. Merry Christmas !

I would love the link for those beautiful ( quilts) I know they are not quilts but I can’t remember what you called them. I believe you said they came maybe 5 to a package and that your husband likes to use them as a table covering. I LOVE THOSE
Love the mantle. We are empty nesters a few years older than you live pretty much paycheck to paycheck, so no gifts to each other or to our adult children. The young grandkids will get 26 dollars and the very youngest do get something to open, usually books. Stocking gs are for looks only. Merry Christmas from central Nebraska.
Hi, Linda. ❤ your channel, style and entertainment. I've been searching for the perfect lampshade. What style or type of lampshade is that beside the mantle with socks? I need to find that same shade style and color but larger for my grandmother"s vintage floor lamp. Merry Christmas!
In my home country we place gifts under the Christmas tree. There are no stockings :) But my daughter asked me to hang stockings this year. We renovated the mantel so it seemed good idea. Until, my dog noticed it :)))) Something colorful hanging in the air must be her toy. I hanged the stockings on the curtain rod over the fireplace.🤦♀
Linda, would you please share the brand and color of eyeliner that you wear and the brand and color of lipstick you were wearing on the Tested and Trusted Holiday Gift Ideas segment? Thsnk you!
Thank you Linda I really enjoyed your show. Can’t wait to see the additions To the kitchen wall and your new kitchen table. All the gift ideas were great. How nice your hubs and son are in India together how long will they be gone?
I hang our stockings empty when filled they lay on the hearth Christmas morning since they’re too heavy to hang. When my grown kids were young, as they loaded up into the car for Christmas Eve midnight mass, I would fill their stockings. When we came home from church they thought Santa had come early!
Cold????? Oh my gosh, I’m in Louisiana and I’m always boiling ! Mind you, I’m British and struggling with Louisiana weather. My little plants- their faces are burning in the sun and their roots drowning in the rain .😢
That's the difference between America and Europe. Linda is saying " at the end of the season", so close to the Christmas day etc... In Europe the real Christmas season only Starts with Christmas Day. This is the beggining of 12 days of Christmas, than on 06 January we have an Epiphany , and then there is a whole Carnival Season going on until the Ash Wednesday , until Fast - we have parties and balls going on ... and this the real Christmas season:). Christmas trees and decorations can be kept until 02 February , which is called Candlemas, which is traditionally the 40th day of and the conclusion of the Christmas-Epiphany season. Many countries in Europe , which is traditionally Christian still follow that tradition. ☀️☀️☀️
THANK YOU, LINDA, for such yet ANOTHER wonderful, informative, inspirational video!!! Please let us know the SOURCE of the elegant fabric covers from India. I'd be a purchaser if I could locate them! MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your Family... and very importantly, STUART!!! 🎄
Disappointed in the list of 10 items because the item I wanted, the socks, would be perfect for my sister, but were not on the list. The lamp was listed twice and an eyelet shirt which you did not even mention was on the list. Where are the socks and the Dr. teals bubble bath.? Please send the link to those socks.
Probably because some people were expecting them to look brand new. They’re not intended to be new, but worn and beautiful. I adore mine. You might want to take a risk :-)
I’m British. I like linen napkins. I’m ok about washing them after a meal and ironing them. It’s eco friendly too
I have family company coming in February so I've ordered some 😊

For stocking, Santa comes, fills them up and delivers to the foot of our beds in middle of the night! So much fun!!
The rocket apples are not only adorable, they are also delicious 😀. Fun video.

Great gift ideas Linda, I bought the lamp for my home office and the puffy shoulder bag for my walks. Merry Christmas to you and Stewart 🎄🎁⛄️

I don’t really do stockings and usually if I did that they were the empty until Christmas. We usually didn’t have the money to put anything in it.
Napkin holder looks like Michael Aram
