Hi, Thanks for the explanation. what are these different series that open when you're trying to open one image? and how to choose the right series? originally, I was thinking that these series are the images of different samples I have taken on the microscope. if this is the case, then how can I know which image is which? because I have named every image differently for example control, treatment 1, treatment 2. and the series do not mention that.
HI Aveen, the series are all the images you have within a single image file (example, if the microscope image is from a Leica microscope, you have option of saving many images into a single project which you then name when you save it.) when you open a Leica microscope image in ImageJ or Fiji, it will read all the individual images and label them as series001. In my case, I have 25 images within each project file. Therefore, whenever I opened them in ImageJ or in Leica, it shows the image sequence in series or whatever name was assigned before saving it from the microscope.
@@AliceritaE thank you very much for your reply. Is there any way to open one image at a time using Fiji? It was my first time using image J and Leica microscope so I save as ed each image to my one drive. The images are labelled in my one drive but I have the problem of when I open just one image all the images open so I don't know which image is which. I have used fluorescent microscope before in another institute and was straight forward. the images were saved as JPEG or TIF I can't quite remember but I could open it straight from my computer.
Hi Aveen, i hope you now know how to open one image at a time. I apologise for the very late response. When you click open the file in Fiji, you have to select one from the list before then clicking okay.
Hey Sis, I like to ask for your help in installing a plug-in in Image J for scratch assay analysis. I extracted the software from the zipped file, but installation into Image J has been as issue. The software is called "Wound-healing size tool". Do you have another plug-in you use?
@@AliceritaE okay No problem, if you're able to, you may let me know. This is the error message I'm getting when I'm installing it:drive.google.com/file/d/1zweW8nfCY6Fjs0L_ENU3CVz-aUFgok5z/view?usp=drivesdk
You’re helping me to solve every single problem I’m experiencing with ImageJ #ThankYouAlice 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Hi Yusuff, I will check the plugin tomorrow. If I am successful, I will update you.
@@AliceritaE Alright and thank you. I'll look forward to that.
Hi I am sorry, I didn't have the time to test the plugin
@@AliceritaE okay
