after hours trying to find about imagej, finally. thank you for this video and the scale bar reference, sir. your audio is so clear, i can immediately understand what you say.
Thank you for your kind assistance, sensei. However, I tried making use of the reference scale bar image but it is doubling the actual length of each line I measure.
I want to add a scale bar on microscopic images with 200X magnification. These images are scanned from the lab report, how can I add a scale bar to them
Because whichever microscope you use, 20x or 10x will be universal magnifications. The magnification of 20X in microscope 1 would be same as that of 20X in microscope 2. I hope this answers your question
We are not changing the magnification. We are just changing the length of the scale bar. You can set it to whatever you want once you have the measurements down for any magnification.
@@akashmitrabiology Ya I had set up the scale bar at the prior step but still it is coming like that. Can you please also provide the method of how to count the number of live and dead cells in a image of Live/Dead assay, using ImageJ and that also of a specific RoI (Region of interest) ?

Fundamentally, my hindi is rusty and I use English so that everyone around the globe can use the videos. I will try and put subtitles for sure. Thanks for the suggestion.

I want to add a scale bar on microscopic images with 200X magnification. These images are scanned from the lab report, how can I add a scale bar to them
You need to have a reference scale of 200X and you can follow this video. Unfortunately I don't have a reference scale of 200X
Thank you. Just wondering, why does this reference image work for any type of microscope?
Because whichever microscope you use, 20x or 10x will be universal magnifications. The magnification of 20X in microscope 1 would be same as that of 20X in microscope 2. I hope this answers your question
Dear sir I am not able to understand! Why did u change 75 um to 100 um at 20x magnification. Kindly if u got my msg plz help me to sort out

Do you have a scale reference for 2X?
Unfortunately I don't
Hello! Could you please share the link to the reference image. I have already mailed you.
I think I had replied to your email
after dragging the main image, i.e., fluorescent image into the imageJ , no dialogue box as such @7:45 appeared for me
It will appear only if you set the scale bar at global in the previous step
