Great video! I've watched your other videos before and they made Fiji much more understandable to me. Thank you, you're very helpful!

Thank you so much! I have some questions, first, is it possible to train the classifier using more than one image? And second question, is using Stardist for training the model will give better results?

Thanks for your video, I have a question
How if the color of the cells and the background quite similar?
Do you have another method for this case?

Hi, sorry for the slow response. If object and BG are too similar then you may need an object classifier rather than a pixel classifier. Have a look at the Ilastik program. C.

Hi, I’m not sure how much tech support I can offer but I’ll try and help. Can you describe the test data set (2D, 3D, size, number of classes etc). C.

Thank you for a well explained tutorial, I felt like I was "missing steps" when reading the text guides but this has clarified things for me!

Thanks for the comment. I’m glad it was useful. I intend to return to that plugin and do a part 2.

Hi Craig, thank you very much for your videos!! I have a question concerning the freehand selection tool. If you circle one ROI using the freehand selection, how can you stop outlining inbetween one circle (e.g. to change the zoom) ? In my experience you always have to do one circle/outline an ROI in ONE go, which makes it hard to zoom in on different details (if you have to be very accurate).Do you have an advice how you could stop and continue circling one ROI or how you could circle it in more than one go (e.g. by using any specific keys)? I would be very thankful, if you could help me with this issue!

Terrific. Now I would like to learn how to quantify size.

    Very interesting.
Is it possible to annotate a feature that is only identifiable when viewed from a particular plane, such as fabric from a pair of jeans in CT scan, and then identify and extract the relevant surfaces in 3D space? In the example, extract the trousers, by detecting the fabric of the cloth used.

Great Video ! Can I ask a stupid question- does it also give the number of nuclei - number of objects? Thanks so much in advance

Hi Rita, I'm not sure if Weka will give you that but once you have your result you can pass it through the 'Analyse Particles' option on the measurement menu and that might give you what you are looking for. C.

Hi! Is it possible to automatically run the classifier for all files that I have? Or should I do it manually?

Maybe think about incorporating it into a macro?
