Great video, I do 2 minutes high pressure with a 15 minute natural release. And by looking at your video I would say my eggs looked like the 3 minute egg you have. So now I just saved 15 minutes by doing the eggs for 3 minutes and quick release. Thank you very much for saving me some time.
I had different results. I have an older instant pot 8qt. Using eggs straight from the fridge mine were perfectly soft boiled at 3 minutes, the yoke was a little bit more loose than your 1 minute egg but still cooked around the edges.
Thanks! I just followed another video with 2 minute cook and 15 min natural release. That worked fine but seemed about as long as boiling on the stove. This will save lots of time!!
You’re welcome:) I initially tried that too and realized it didn’t make any difference waiting so long with the natural release. This way is definitely a time saver! 👍
My instant pot is all over the place with boiling eggs. I did 5 min on high pressure one time with 5 min rest, them 5 min in ice water and the eggs weren't cooked at all. The next time did the same thing and all the eggs were cooked perfectly. The next time I did the same things and 3 of the six eggs weren't cooked at all and the other three were soft boiled. Every time I did the same procedure and got different results. Every time with one cup of water in my 6 qt instant pot. I don't know what the issue is. Any help.
Your 2 minute eggs look like my 4 minute eggs? My 3 minute eggs have a runny yoke. Are you starting your eggs right out of the fridge or are you letting them set out on the counter for a while?
I started the eggs right from the fridge, i don't let it sit & wait.. I prefer to get it done quick as possible. When the cooking time finishes (beeps), I instant release the steam and remove the cover as soon as it lets me to (so I also don't let it sit in there as the eggs can continue to cook), then put it in ice cold water to cool off a few mins, and then that's the results I get.
Hello again. Thanks for another excellent video. Where can I buy the Instant Pot BOILED EGG cooker please. I reside in Australia and I have never seen this cooker in any of our stores. Can it be purchased on Amazon? Many thanks again. Cheers!
Most helpful video on deciding how long to cook boiled eggs. Thank you very much
I was using the 5-5-5 method people recommended, but my eggs were overdone. This is very helpful!

Thanks for doing this test. Great information. This video deserves more views.
Those 1 minute eggs look PERFRCT for curry!
Did you take them straight from the fridge and put them in? Or are they room temp?
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Great video. Thanks
i like the 5 min egg

Thanx man!!!

Does it matter how many eggs you cook at once?
No it doesn’t matter
