සිංහරාජ වනයේ තනි දින චාරිකාවක් සඳහා වනාන්තරයට පිවිසෙන කෙනෙකුට දැකීමට වැඩිම ඉඩ කඩ ඇති සමහර දේ මෙයින් පෙන්වයි. ඔබ එහිදී දකින බොහෝ සතුන් සහ ගස් වැල් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට ආවේණිකය. සිංහරාජයට යාමට පෙර දැනගෙන ගියහොත් ඔබේ අත්දැකීම වඩාත් හොඳ වනු ඇත. සිංහරාජ වැසි වනාන්තරය ලංකාවේ ප්‍රමුඛතම වන රක්ෂිතයයි. සිංහරාජය හා සම කළ හැකි අනෙක් වනයක් අපට නැත. ඒ මන්දැයි දැකීමට නම් සිංහරාජයට යා යුතුය. ජෛව විවිධත්වය අනූන සිංහරාජ වනාන්තරය, ලෝකයේ ජෛව විවිධත්ව 'නිලයක්' (උණුසුම් ස්ථානයක්) බවට ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ගෙන යාමට විශාල දායකත්වයක් සපයන බව පැහැදිලිය. එය ජාතික උරුම වන භූමියක් සහ ලෝක උරුම ස්ථානයක් වී ඇත්තේ සිංහරාජ වනයේ සුන්දරත්වය නිසා පමණක් නොවේ. සිංහරාජ වනාන්තරයේදී ඔබට ඔබගේම මඟ පෙන්වන්නා වීමට මේ වීඩියෝව උදවු වේ යැයි අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු.

Thank you, it has been a pleasure to watch this video. (with the English subtitles). This seems to be one of the more pristine trails, and I will be planning to go there. The Siharaja Forest certainly something I want to see on my visit to Sri Lanka. I very much appreciated your explanation of the endemic flora and fauna and will be looking out for these.

I just sent a message, but it seems to have dissapeared from the chat.
I will give it another try: I visited the Sinharaja with some friends, based in a small open hut in 1981, where we spent a few wonderful days and nights. I have always wondered whether I might be able to find out where it was. If you have the time and are interested perhaps you might have a look, I have sent you an album link with some photographs from then. If you do not regognise it, it was worth a try. PS: Unfortunately the message did not go through again; apparently this furum doesn't accept links, but here is the message anyway
