Very good video and informative Peter. On bleeding you must press the brake pedal whilst closing the bleeding nipple. Then long press and hold the pedal after that then open the bleeding nipple to check for air bubbles do that until there is no air bubbles. Also using brake fluid not water on the container.

Some Toyota corolla wagons do not use a rear strut. I did find a 91 Corolla wagon in a junk yard with struts, put the springs on my 91 Corolla base model along with new struts. The ride is superb. Thanks for the tip. To anyone performing this modification, check the torque spec. on the lower bolts, they are surprisingly high, would recommend a torque multiplier if you can get one.

Great video as always. I’m sure the struts are worth more than the vehicle. A car is good if it gets you from point A to B and these struts should hopefully last you the life of this vehicle.
You can buy a one piece quick strut assembly which is probably a better option rather than replacing the strut and using the old spring.

I have a 2008 Toyota camry and believe I need shocks, would the car make rattling noise when going over uneven payment, if you need shocks?

Hi, Peter, thx for sharing. I noticed the rear shock is different in 2004 after than my 1999. The shock after 2003 is without the plate. Do I have to find exact the same as in 1998? Thx you.

The '91 wagon does not have the torsion bar attached to the strut; only the brake line is attached.
The bar is attached down below the strut.

    Hi Peter,
I have a Corolla 2006, I replaced the rear left suspension, however when I try to replace the right sided rear suspension, I am having difficulty bringing the suspension (bottom part) over the axle. The tension is too high and it brings down too low the suspension- I can't place the suspension over the axle. I tried to push down the axle frame and also push onto the suspension from the inside but I don't have any success. Any ideas?

+G Sor Yes. The idea is to move shock and support bars. You must use some jack and long bar that you can the parts. Please be patient.

You used water in the brake bleeding container? Why not brake fluid? Seems counter intuitive using
    water.

    Hi
First off thank you for the video its very helpful! second off the first nut you undo on the video (the nut attached to the copper wire) on my car its very stiff and i can't undo it. I've tried wire brushing and putting plusgas on. any tips on getting the nut off? Ive tried to avoid it but i have burred the nut a little bit trying to undo it.
    hope you can help! :)
