Hey, I installed the same on our sailboat. Have a video on our page, somewhere. Technotics is a great company. We live and sail in Southern California, and were able to stop by the "factory" and pick up the unit from the guy that made it. Nice guy, by the way. I installed it in a few hours, and was able to be cooling my beer and freezing my ice within a few hours. Guess we both had the same great experience!
monofied Maybe the OP will chime in here. I've not done a comparison. On our current boat, I installed a cold plate system, as opposed to an evaporator plate, as this one is.

May i ask what the advantage is in this unit vs a more inexpensive one such as the Norcold for $750?
