I appreciate you mentioning the pH factor. You should make a video on the causes of pain post consumption of enzymes. Quite a few people experience pain after taking enzymes.
Chris in Newfoundland says..Another great video as Always..Suffering from Crohn's..I used to take these Super enzymes in my pass life and found they worked good..Totally forgot about them since I moved home and will be getting back on track Thanks Doc always love your short get to the point videos.👍
Interesting, because I have been meat based for my nutrition for over a year, pretty much 90% carnivore, and have great results with my digestive system. 1 bowel movement every other day, nice and small, exits easily, and I feel absolutely amazing! Great energy, sleep, and losing body fat. Haven't had vegetables in over a year, don't miss them at all! No fruit either.
when your body is absorbing all your food, there is less waste, less shit. Fiber and Carbs and Junkfood make big shits all the time.. not the best for your guts for the long run
My stool sometimes floats and at other times it sinks. My lipase levels are high and i get pain in my pancreas area. I have had an ultrasound and it came back normal and im due to get a ct scan in a couple of days. Should i take digestive enzymes? Thanks.
Sounds good, but ... how does one determine which enzyme they are lacking and how much they need. Some people produce these enzymes but perhaps not in a sufficient quantity. Someone needs to develop a structured testing methodology.
They're companies that do this for people, and give them poop analysis reports on their microbiome. They'll tell you which foods you're lacking for your microbiome. Just remember, eat those foods raw. Don't kill off the enzymes by cooking or boiling them. Alcohol kills enzymes as well, So eat'em raw.
Use check my body health. I did a hair sample. Gave a comprehensive breakdown of food sensitivities and also probiotic and enzyme levels, allergies etc. Although this didn’t tell me my exact levels, it did tell me which enzymes were low, and which were adequate. Hope this helps. I’m from the Uk but hope it’s available wherever u are you
Yes you need them. Ive been on a bad diet eating cold apples, whey protein and instant noodles. I puked last week. Yes you need digestive enzyme like pineapple. It help digestion pf protein and overall healthy diet to add pineapple
When detecting the enzyme in the alimentary canal of fish. How do I know that this is the optimum limit for enzyme activity? Is it possible to find out the optimal values for activity or range?
Hi doc. I have chronic heart burn, been taking slippery elm if have flare up. I notice that everytime I take digestive enzyme after meal it gives me stomachache.
I had constant heartburn for 2 months ever since getting Covid. I took baking soda,1/2 teaspoon dissolved in 4 oz of water, 3 times a day. Now I'm down to 1/2 teaspoon every 3 days. Heard about this from Dr Sircus. It is working great.

We are, indeed; fearfully and wonderfully made. Oh LORD, how manifold are thy works, in wisdom hast though made them all; the earth is full of thy riches. Psalm 104:24
I often have loose stool about an hour after eating a fatty meal (like eggs), unless I take Pancreatin. I've been on keto for years so it seems strange that my body has not adapted. The food also tends to "sit there" undigested, unless I load up on betaine HCL. Is it possible there's a more foundational problem? I'm starting to wonder if this could be due to an autonomic nervous system or vagus nerve issue? What do you think?
There could be many possibilities. I would try getting off Keto for about 2 weeks then trying again with gallbladder support. I have video on gallbladder if you search the channel.
One other thing: If I over eat or don't use digestive pills (like betaine HCL) sometimes my breathing can get really slow and shallow -- like I'm asleep at 2am in the morning. Note: Accidently replied under a different account name, at first -- in case you are confused why you may have got notified twice - and one of the comments disappeared.
There are hundreds of different enzyme brands/formulas on the market. Although I have (read) three superb books on enzymes, including what to look for in an enzyme,.....comparing what's on the market is extremely difficult. Many brands either don't tell you specifics on their ingredients, or they say their formula is "proprietary" (secret)!! In reading Bohager, Hewell, and Cichoke, the specifics are all well defined. Is there anyone out there that knows of a third party who has tested the contents of various brands and has these listen on one site for reference? The enzyme business is a labyrinth.
I'm always defending myself from intestinal permability (leaky gut) Keep your butyrate production in your intestines functioning well. Their are supplements that will help fix intestinal permability (leaky gut) as well, such as butyrate, cats claw, some people say slippery elm, marshmallow root (the plant, not the confectionary) There are a few. Their are lots of other foods or supplements that will help clean up all those lipopolysaccharides and other free radicals floating around in the blood stream that have already gotten through the leaky gut, such as curcumin, resveratrol, quercetin (their are lots)
Et en chinois, espagnol, Italien, russe. Quoi d’autre ? Sa langue maternelle n’est pas l’anglais et il a fait l’effort pour joindre le plus grand nombre….
Why do we take EXOGENOUS digestive enzyme supplements? Almost all enzymes are proteins (polypeptides - monomeric or multimeric). Each of them only works well in its native state (i.e., properly folded in its 3-D structure) with or without cofactor. Surely the ingested foreign EXOGENOUS digestive enzymes, like other exogenous protein molecules, are denatured by the gastric acid n digested by the various endogenous proteases (e.g., chymotrypsin, pepsin, n trypsin) n peptidases (e.g., endopeptidases, exopeptidases, dipeptidases, aminopeptidases, n carboxypeptidases) produced by the organs of the human digestive system. So, QUESTION: Do the ingested n digested foreign EXOGENOUS DIGESTIVE ENZYMES still retain their respective native states n remain functional in human small intestines? If YES, please give the details of published peer-reviewed journal articles that provide data supporting them. If NO, why do we take EXOGENOUS digestive enzyme supplements? Thank you.

Is it true that if you take supplemental enzymes, and betaine HCL, you need to protect your intestinal lining or it will become too porous ?
