Thanks for taking the time to give us all a looksee. Seems pleasant enough and it's a reasonable size. There's one for sale locally for a really good price, so I just might check it out. Thanks again!
have you ever gone down with them on? im just curious how they held up because they were the first thing i noticed here and my first thought was "well your hands are fucked if you go down"
I bought my 2002 Marauder brand new and it’s been a fantastic bike for two decades now. The only problem is these bikes develop a hard starting issue. I’ve been battling this for years, but today I found this video: th-cam.com/video/gIoCBcOb7ZU/w-d-xo.html Take my advice and do this work around now! All you need is a piece of wire and 15 minutes. The MMM starter relay is a piece of crap and it will leave you stranded so ditch it before you start throwing money away on batteries, or a stator and volt regulator. Oh, and three different mechanics… 🤬
uuugh I so need to find one of these im going to be a beginner rider and this is the bike I want j don't care if I have to take a road trip to get one school can wait haha
Honestly man if you're over 6' any bike 800cc or smaller is gonna feel slightly cramped for you but once you get a few months of riding and feel comfortable you can buy bigger. Or go for a kawi Vulcan 900 or the Yamaha vstar 950cc, the engine isn't much bigger but the frame is so it'll give you more leg room
I knew that area looked familiar! I’m from San Antonio too, just bought my own Marauder 800 today. Small world.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that wears Mechanix gloves to ride!

You need to gear it. 16 front. 44 back. Sprockets.

As soon as ya hit the ground on anything then gloves gonna tear like paper lmao

Yes it is!
I'm 6'2 and my 99 Marauder fits me just fine
How’s your bike feel at 50 plus does it vibrate a lot
I have the same bike no vibration's...
Took my 2003 vz800 up to 90 no problem
I have a 2000 Maruder 800, no vibrations and really smooth with that larger front tire
