Hey mate just commenting to see if you could let me know the best place to get parts for a fordson in australia im up in queensland and have a 1958 major im currently chasing the diff drain plug as the one i have is a bit chewed up
From memory they are interchangeable, see if a filler plug fits your drain plug. If not, try a few wreckers, small enough part shipping will be negligible.

Is there another o ring on the discharge pipe from the tap?
There shouldn't be an O ring on the copper outflow pipes, just an 'olive' compression fitting

Best place for small items like that is Ebay, there are some on there for sale right now.
