I've looked around about quadlocks on this bike and apparently you can use the handlebar mount on the gap in the silver cover below the key, supposedly has almost 0 vibration so that might be worth a try.
the miles to inches is a bug that comes from the km to meters conversion. Normally on a non stupid measuring system like metric is, you can convert from km to meter just dividing by 1000. If you set the bike on metric, when it goes under 1km, automatically switches from km to meters and it's accurate. On the stupid imperial system, when it goes under 1miles instead of switching to yards or 0,5 miles for example, it switches to inches.
Quadlock solutions from a fellow owner. Yes you can use the handlebar mount and clasp onto the triple tree, it doesn't vibrate and it holds it's place well, however, you can also take a wrench and replace the center massive bolt on the triple tree with one from ali express that supports fork stem accessories, and Quadlock has a fork stem mount accessory
Chris...the more content I see about CFMOTO the more inclined I am to buy one now. I love all the features this bike has and I do like navigation on the bike. THe inches has me laughing hard! OC
New rider on this bike. I had it for about a month now. This review was generous, I almost always get lost at least once using the app. Even if its accurate (which I truly don't think it is) it still leads to a lot of confusion and frustration. I commend them for trying at this price point though.
I seen phone mounts on aliexpress specifically for the 450SS, also alot of other goodies. Will you be doing a video of the other functions from the app like the alarm and antitheft (I know I'm saying that wrong) Great video, I love you content. I'm thinking of buy a 450SS myself as my first bike
For future reference, no U-turn signs aren't required, depending on the state. They're for "convenience" so people KNOW not to do a u-turn. *Florida on this one..* Example for Texas. This is with a sign not being required. Law states however based on visibility of other driver's based on feet/curves/height of roadway. This is agreed that you will understand these laws when you sign for the license. You will agree to all state specific laws. Now, most cops understand that this is a joke of a law system, so they don't give you a hard time about it. IF you ever get into a crash however, insurance companies will nit pick these laws...
Pretty impressed with everything on this bike. I'd get the NK for sure tho with the same 450cc 270 PTwin. I've got an amazing bike now but god damn its so tempting to have a minor stepdown for a daily to justify a weekend bike as a step up later on.

There’s a walmart by a place i used to work at where the main entrance was literally the cargo area from walmart😂 The main entrance was on the edge of a freeway, and the only other way was on the opposide side of the walmart another one way free way entrace as well, the front of the walmart faced the middle of the freeway lol, so there was no entrance here Everytime i went there for supplies or food, i felt like i was doing something illegal cuz i was deep in the cargo zone, but then you see like 10 other cars as well and u realize is normal there
I just bought a 2023 CFMoto - 650GT and my problem is that I can't navigate to a specific house number via the bikes navigation App (Phone/Dashboard). Any help/ideas?
The navigation is kinda useless to me because i have to keep the phone unlocked. So i just use Google maps. Second, you can put a folk stem mount on the 450ss. Most of your parts will come from ebay and ali express. I order another stem cap and drilled a 1/2in hole through the middle then screw the peice back in. I dont even use my fork mount like i used to because i got tired on switching cases for work and riding.(Im a welder)
OC: I avoid having my phone mounted. I got used to just connecting my phone with my Sena and get my directions and music that way. I also have an Apple Watch and it gives me directions and arrows on my watch. However, that TFT dash is great feature for an entry level bike! 🏍️
You have no idea how many views this video will do. Many people are waiting on reviews of the app to pull the trigger on this bike. It is really great knowing that you have a backup plan in case someone kidnaps your bike
I'm not sure how Cardo works, but when I use my Buds I have to be in a stand still to transfer my BT connectivity to my buds and not the 450SS. This happens when I pick up a call and/or end a call. It's weird I know, but like you mentioned it's cool. The music feature is okay, just a little slow, but I'm able to change tracks. Too bad I can't change playlist.
Okay this is different brand but, on BMWs for helmet comms + phone to work properly. Your intercom and your phone need to be connected to your motorcycle not each other. That way you can fully utilize the media features on Instrument of the bike.

So you can just add a bike purely by the VIN? Then how does that work if you sell the bike? Does the previous owner just get to keep looking at your data? Seems like a privacy concern
Nope. Once they enter the VIN on their phone, they need to start their own account to match it to. If you don't give them your email & PIN, they won't see your data. They will have to link that VIN to THEIR OWN email & PIN and they will be starting fresh. The VIN is needed so that it knows which CF Moto it is.
I wish these connected apps were better. My KTM RC390 app is useless and I cant find out how to pipe audio to my cardo through the bike. Forget about turn by turn it straight up only works on phone (even though plenty of Indian riders show it working). Ended up getting a tank bag and put phone there.
hey i got a question, when i connect my helmet and my 450sr to my phone, it outputs my sound from my phone to the last device connected, so if i start my bike after turning on my helmet cardo, i wouldnt hear anything since my bike is taking all the sound from my phone. Did you have any issues like that? and do you connect your helmet to your bike or your phone?
@@regular3938 yes, the trick is, first turn on the bike, wait until its connected to ur phone, then turn on the helmet, wait until it connects. That way when u start playing music. It plays through the helmet, and u can skip songs by pressing the arrows on the bike

Also might want to ask your dealer If they could assist in any way Edit: also could try to clear all your previous connections and set them up again. Can be tedious but might be worth it. Edit 2: looked up some manuals for cfmoto and i'm quite sure you need to have your intercom and phone both seperately connected to your bike.

I've actually reached out directly to quad-lock about this about a week ago. After chatting with a representative, there is no Mount and production for this type of bike yet.
The app directions definitely need work. However the other features I think work really good. I like looking at my rides and the other stats of it. Like my lean angles and acceleration/ deceleration. Definitely better than what my Kawasaki ZH2 app offered…

I use the quad lock with ram mount threaded adapter and it works great (mounting hole is in left handlebar)

Yep, they shouldn't have an issue doing OTA updates (over the air).
They have updated the app 3 times already since had my 450SS.

I'm not certain on CFMoto, but on BMW both your intercom and phone need to be connected to your bike. For you to fully utilize media features.

Why use a quad lock at all exposes phone to extreme heat and elements like rain and snow. Last I checked they were not waterproof.

Yeah, last month 1700 bikes were recalled because the telemetics box can become dislodged and stuck int the fork or something like that.
