I love your videos! I just reupholstered a couch with the sampler fabric shown on your chairs except with a deeper gold colored background. It is called Virginia Sampler and it is beautiful! Keep those videos coming!!
Hi from North Georgia. I love all your stitching and so far I had resisted buying any patterns from your previous videos but I have to order My Stitching Garden. I also want that zipper pull. Fortunately, I make my own project bags and project rolls so I can resist there. I’m a quilter too. My husband also does most of the housework and grocery shopping. My main job is to make good meals which is usually one main meal at noon. Our 17 year old miniature dachshund was a rescue. The previous owners would leave him outside in all weather. My friend who was their neighbor asked if they would let her find him another home. She called me because she knew my favorite breed are doxies. We’ve had him 15 years and he is our “son” too. I feel like I’m just stitching with a friend while watching you. Thanks.
Ann, I consider you a friend already. I grew up with a Doxie, and loved her to pieces. We sure do have alot in common don't we! I do all the cooking too, which I love, and we just do one meal a day, but closer to 3:00 pm. We're both quilters and are obviously cross stitch lovers. So very nice to meet you.❤

I have come back to cross stitch after a 30 year absence and the selections of fabric and fibers is so exciting. I liked hearing about your dogs too. We have an older dog and a younger one, 2 years old. Both rescues. Our younger one is so high energy that he has changed our lives. To meet his needs I go to the dog parks several times a week, even in cold weather. When we can't go to the park we often go just for a car ride which they both love, sometimes getting pup cups or burgers for a treat. I hope your Rose does well in school, and would love hearing a little about her progress. Great video. I like the longer videos.

I found your channel because of a mention on Brenda & the Serial Stitchers floss tube. They mentioned you had lots of eye candy, and they weren’t kidding. I just finished watching your floss tube #2 & the finished samplers & projects you showed are amazing. Your work is beautiful. I wish I had that many finished projects to hang on my walls. I do have several pieces hanging on my walls that I did in the late 90’s & early 2000. I took a 20 year hiatus & just got back into stitching late last year. Found your video today. I could so relate to you. I am a little older,77. I, too, am a quilter and have started learning cross stitch and discovered a new love. I have a room in our lower level dedicated to my sewing. Now threads have creeped upstairs with a hoop and Aida cloth. I am hooked. I don’t think I will advance to the beautiful stitching that you do, however I do like a challenge. Thank you for being an inspiration. 😉

One of these days maybe you can just stitch with us. I too am a dog person and have 2 dogs, a 10 year old Havanese and a 4 year old Golden mix. Both are rescues and are my "kids" as the human kids are grown with their families.

Oh Judy! I just wanted to reach through my IPad screen and hug you for the story of your rescue and re-homed furry friends! That’s what my husband and I did with our last dog and he was the sweetest! We got him late in his life, but we had 4 wonderful years with him and we hope we gave him the best end for him. I’m 72 as well and I cant believe you can stitch n 40/46 count! That’s impressive. I do fine with 36, but that’s my limit. Your projects are so fun to see and so relatable as far as those darn squirrels go! I just finished Christmas Garden by Blackbird and now need to decide if I’m going to try and finish it myself or take it to my local Michaels. I think we all are enjoying all your FT’s and kudos to that husband of yours that does housework so you can stitch! 🥰

Hi Bunny, April was a busy month for me -- I was away for a week, and other things besides -- but I'm now catching up on unwatched FlossTubes. I always enjoy what you have on the go -- and get a kick of your line up of projects, each in some stage of progress, neatly in a bag. I too have the same -- including knitting projects, for I'm a long-time knitter. But I've been most delighted at your mention of the SALs -- the special, once-exclusive projects for the 20th anniversary of Traditional Stitches -- one of my very favourite shops. I was around when the shop opened and, living in Calgary, Alberta, at the time, I visited often and took classes there with the likes of Jeannette Douglas, another very talented Calgary stitcher. Eliza Martha Linfoot and Esther Blackwood being part of the 20th anniversary celebration pieces. Blackbird designs created "What Remains is Love" (now released to all), which I did in memory of my late hubby, and Jeannette did a series of smalls -- very Canadian in flavour. The last of the celebratory pieces is a contemporary canvas piece, for those who like to work with a variety of threads on canvas. Janice and her staff are very special folks; even though I no longer live in Calgary, I remember doing inventory for her in the early days, as well as some office work, and the shop remains my go-to online LNS. I'm glad you got those 2 pieces from TS to mark her shop's 20 years (now almost 23!) years in business!

The only sampler I've ever stitched is a Noah's Ark sampler, and it is a new one, it's not a very antique one. Sorry I don't know the designer.
How lovely you rescued your dogs. We have a rescue girl - love of our lives. When they went to spay her at the rescue centre, they found a pup inside so they sewed her up, she had the puppy at Christmas time so the staff named him Joseph and one of the staff members homed her. Thank you for your videos, love them.

I am really enjoying your videos. I don't mind long videos. I just may watch them in sections. It's nice to listen to your stories as I stitch and to see your beautiful projects. I love Lynn's! I've only been there once so far and it was my first visit to an LNS. My middle son lives close to there and he took me when I was visiting him. He let me shop for as long as I wanted while he patiently waited. I haven't made it to Country Sampler yet, but hope to soon. I'm helping my son move to a new apartment the last weekend of April and hope to go up early so I can go to Lynn's. Have you and your husband thought of finding someone to walk Rosie for you? I got Remember Me as well. Was disappointed to see that the chart is in colour though. I’m going to be 70 this year and I find the dark colour of the chart hard to see. I also like to highlight as I go and that is impossible with that coloured chart. Love all you do and agree about dogs. We have two still. I can’t imagine life without a dog.

Hi Judy - Love your Chicago stories. I road the commuter train with my Godmother from Lake Geneva every Christmas for years to see Santa at Fields. I loved lunch in the tea room, the tree, escalators, and walking the streets of the loop. Mabel was the Paymaster for CNW Railway until she was 75 so she really knew the loop. Good Morning. I share your thoughts about retreats, in retirement for me it just seems like too much of an expense to take out of our budget. Judy, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful stitching! It is so wonderful to sit here in my craft room and stitch while watching your video. One of these days maybe you can just stitch with us. I too am a dog person and have 2 dogs, a 10 year old Havanese and a 4 year old Golden mix. Both are rescues and are my "kids" as the human kids are grown with their families.

Oh Judy! I just wanted to reach through my IPad screen and hug you for the story of your rescue and re-homed furry friends! That’s what my husband and I did with our last dog and he was the sweetest! We got him late in his life, but we had 4 wonderful years with him and we hope we gave him the best end for him. I’m 72 as well and I cant believe you can stitch n 40/46 count! That’s impressive. I do fine with 36, but that’s my limit. Your projects are so fun to see and so relatable as far as those darn squirrels go! I just finished Christmas Garden by Blackbird and now need to decide if I’m going to try and finish it myself or take it to my local Michaels. I think we all are enjoying all your FT’s and kudos to that husband of yours that does housework so you can stitch! 🥰

April was a busy month for me -- I was away for a week, and other things besides -- but I'm now catching up on unwatched FlossTubes. I always enjoy what you have on the go -- and get a kick of your line up of projects, each in some stage of progress, neatly in a bag. I too have the same -- including knitting projects, for I'm a long-time knitter.
But I've been most delighted at your mention of the SALs -- the special, once-exclusive projects for the 20th anniversary of Traditional Stitches -- one of my very favourite shops. I was around when the shop opened and, living in Calgary, Alberta, at the time, I visited often and took classes there with the likes of Jeannette Douglas, another very talented Calgary stitcher. Eliza Martha Linfoot and Esther Blackwood being part of the 20th anniversary celebration pieces. Blackbird designs created "What Remains is Love" (now released to all), which I did in memory of my late hubby, and Jeannette did a series of smalls -- very Canadian in flavour. The last of the celebratory pieces is a contemporary canvas piece, for those who like to work with a variety of threads on canvas. Janice and her staff are very special folks; even though I no longer live in Calgary, I remember doing inventory for her in the early days, as well as some office work, and the shop remains my go-to online LNS. I'm glad you got those 2 pieces from TS to mark her shop's 20 years (now almost 23!) years in business!

The only sampler I've ever stitched is a Noah's Ark sampler, and it is a new one, it's not a very antique one. Sorry I don't know the designer.

How lovely you rescued your dogs. We have a rescue girl - love of our lives. When they went to spay her at the rescue centre, they found a pup inside so they sewed her up, she had the puppy at Christmas time so the staff named him Joseph and one of the staff members homed her. Thank you for your videos, love them.

I am really enjoying your videos. I don't mind long videos. I just may watch them in sections. It's nice to listen to your stories as I stitch and to see your beautiful projects. I love Lynn's! I've only been there once so far and it was my first visit to an LNS. My middle son lives close to there and he took me when I was visiting him. He let me shop for as long as I wanted while he patiently waited. I haven't made it to Country Sampler yet, but hope to soon. I'm helping my son move to a new apartment the last weekend of April and hope to go up early so I can go to Lynn's. Have you and your husband thought of finding someone to walk Rosie for you? I got Remember Me as well. Was disappointed to see that the chart is in colour though. I’m going to be 70 this year and I find the dark colour of the chart hard to see. I also like to highlight as I go and that is impossible with that coloured chart. Love all you do and agree about dogs. We have two still. I can’t imagine life without a dog.

Hi Judy - Love your Chicago stories. I road the commuter train with my Godmother from Lake Geneva every Christmas for years to see Santa at Fields. I loved lunch in the tea room, the tree, escalators, and walking the streets of the loop. Mabel was the Paymaster for CNW Railway until she was 75 so she really knew the loop. Good Morning. I share your thoughts about retreats, in retirement for me it just seems like too much of an expense to take out of our budget. So I enjoy floss tube etc. I hope you frame some of your beautiful pieces and put them on that wall behind you. I was hoping you would show your chairs!!! thanks for keeping me company while I stitched this morning.
