Hi Judy, Great stitching projects and lovely finishes! As we enter into the seventies and eighties age wise, I would recommend main floor living ... with kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room all on the same level. Then it's not such a hardship navigating the stairs! Prevent falls.

I am a landlord and I always do this for new tenants, so be sure you get it done. I love your red glasses. How fun! And you cross stitch. Long ago I used to do Cooler designs. They a re really quite lovely. These days I am more into samplers. Your stitches are so lovely. Congratulations on your finishes. I will definitely miss your flosstubes. Can't wait to see your new stitchy room. It sounds delightful. I'm with you I didn't mind being grounded during covid either. Take care and don't overwork yourself. One thing that I was told when I was trying to decide what to keep and what to let go was if it doesn't give you joy anymore let it go. Another thing was take a picture of it and let it go. Give it a hug and let it go. You will always have your memories of things you need to part with. Stay safe..

Oh, Judy! Thank you for sharing your projects and life update with us. Moves are so daunting but it sounds like you have a great plan and have found a wonderful new home to rent. The short timeline to get everything packed up and moved over is sometimes a blessing in disguise - the quicker you get through that part of the process, the sooner you can get to the fun part of settling in and enjoying your new place. Knowing how busy you are, I feel so lucky to be a recent recipient of one of your project rolls and it is now safely storing more than 10 finishes. Best wishes for a safe and smooth move. ❤
My goodness you are taking on quite a big project this month! Best of luck to you and your husband. I love the daily bread pillow. Do you know where the pattern came from? 😂 You prayed to be forced to stay at home. I understand that, I had a house full of kids at the time ages 5 thru 21! Now I'm just enjoying the weekend afternoons I can hide in my craft room. 😊

I live in a two-story house and ruptured my Achilles tendon and the stairs are a major issue because I can only use one foot and I’m not able to go up to my bedroom or bathroom. I pray for a safe move and can’t wait to see your new stitching room.

I understand what sort of effort it entails - we have been in our house for 43 years and I have just so much ‘stuff’ for each of my hobbies, Peter has two sheds also packed full of his things. It’s a mammoth job, and now Peter is 80 and I am in my 70’s it feels very daunting but we have to at least try to get rid of some of it 😳

I sold my home of almost 40 years and moved six hours away to another state. I think I have been in a state of shock until recently. It was a very traumatic time in my life. Still good days and bad days. Anyway, I wanted to wish you a smooth transition into your new home!.You just never know how your world can change in a matter of minutes. I will be keeping you two in my thoughts and prayers!! Ohh the stuff we accumulate!!! It's alot!!! One day I'm hoping to get one of your wonderful bags! Your hand work is superb!! best wishes on your relocation. It can be a blessing not to have to maintain a large home. I think it took as long to pack our last garage as the entire house. Big heavy tools. By the end we were ready to chuck a lot of stuff.
I cannot understand all the hype regarding ironing unfinished cross stitch pieces. I would never put an iron to pieces unfinished for fear of setting any possible oil from my hands. Best of luck in your move. Your stitching is gorgeous.
