My favorites of the pieces you shared was the lobster one and Margaret Beattie. My suggestion for the lobster one is to make a wall hanging backed like your project rolls so that it ships or travels easily, as well as stores easily and send it to your husband’s friend and his family. In fact, my suggestion is that instead of framing all your pieces, Group them by size width and hang like sizes in the same size, interchanging them whenever you choose. Store them in your project rolls when not being displayed. It really surprised me that I liked Margaret Beattie so well because it has bunnies. Now I love bunnies, but flosstube has been so inundated with bunnies that I find myself reacting when I see the bunnies like Archie Bunker when he saw Walter Cronkite on his television. But I had no such reaction when I saw the Margaret Beattie piece. Kudos on your wonderfully stitched samplers.

I have two little ones also, they are so loved and wonderful companions as my husband passed away 4 years ago unexpectedly. I have been stitching since the 70's and also quilt, knit and love to bake - all great hobbies to have in Wisconsin. I'm almost 69 and I will have to live to be 100 with decent eyesight and a steady hand to stitch all of the charts I have purchased. And I know there will be more that I just have to have. So. Much. Fun.

Wonderful flosstube, your work is outstanding and I can tell you have put your love into each one. I have two little ones also, they are so loved and wonderful companions as my husband passed away 4 years ago unexpectedly. I have been stitching since the 70's and also quilt, knit and love to bake - all great hobbies to have in Wisconsin. I'm almost 69 and I will have to live to be 100 with decent eyesight and a steady hand to stitch all of the charts I have purchased. And I know there will be more that I just have to have. So. Much. Fun.

When you were talking about the Valdani Silk, I wonder if you would have used the next size up needle, I have heard stitcher’s talk about shredding when the needle is too small.

It's funny that I watched you with your F O s this weekend. I spent my Saturday finishing some things that have been laying around for a long time. Tomorrow I hope to get 3 things framed.
