Advanced Warfare seemed to be a very experimental game. SHG took one for the team and weren't afraid to make extremely controversial decisions. In the long run, I can see people thanking AW for making it easy for other developers to see what would ruin their game, like Treyarch and Black Ops 3 saw what was wrong with advanced movement and seemed to fix its problems for their game, thus making it more appealing. Advanced Warfare had its ups and downs, but then again, sometimes it just needed that exo jump to get back on the up-side.
I still don't understand why you have so few subscribers, you make better content than some of the bigger youtubers. I feel like you have 700k subscribers and not 70k just because you sound so professional.
Getting back in the fight faster was ome of the best features. AW is the top tier. It was very challenging. One of the fastest games available even today. The dogfights are unparalleled.
Even though it may seem strange to some people, im still happy that we had a cod like advanced warfare. I didnt like the game quite as much as mw2 or black ops, but i still feel we needed a different cod, a game that didnt quite feel like cod. For years people complained about cod being the same game every year just with different maps and killstreaks . Advanced warfare offered a completely different experience, it wasnt " a dlc for cod4". Of course the exo suit turned out to be very annoying ,the gun balance as well as the scorestreaks and matchmaking system were trash, yet it was an improvement over ghosts and step in the right direction.
7/10 Honestly it was a well rounded game with a handful of very obvious issues. The patches were slow, guns were semi balanced, maps were very well rounded, I did experience a decent amount of connection issues, but they weren't horrible, still very playable, wasn't a big fan of exo movements, but at the same time I grew to like it a lot. I enjoyed advanced supply drops, that's what kept the game going for me, very well done game, just off the basis alone that it was a huge step in call of duty
I personally gave advanced warfare a 7/10 because there was a lot of issues, but I still played the game nearly all year and it was very fun and challenging. Although very frustrating at times. I did enjoy the game for the most part :)
If I learned anything from this game it was the importance of using a scuff type controller . Still don't have one , but going up against a scuff really makes one feel handicapped when using a regular controller .
I give it 8/10. I value the movement much more than the loss of map control. I could still predict enemy position/routes although there was a randomness factor in AW that no other COD had, but that is the cost of innovation, I think we should be grateful for something different. I also think the hand wringing over the variants is kind of weak. Most people had access to an elite tier gun, whether it be the inferno, steed, insanity, speakeasy. People play with the inferno and complain about the insanity and those with the insanity complain of the inferno. Great players used the loophole. I agree with eliminating the variants worse than the base variants, but it was a money making venture and I'm not faulting anyone for making money. I'm actually kind of sad that we are going back to a more traditional COD, I didn't play the Beta so I won't start complaining of cut and paste quite yet.
Gun Balance - 5, completely agree with you Ace, the base weapons are well balanced however the variant system threw all gun balance out of the window Perk Balance - 6, again agree with you entirely Ace, however all that needed to be done was a little re-shuffling of the perks in the categories to create a better balance Scorestreak Balance - 5, the best scorestreak setup in my opinion was the support UAV with threat detection and the support carepackage, both super easy to get as they are support and often are game deciding for me at least anyway. Innovation - 10, although sledgehammer produced a pretty mediocre/terrible game you cannot fault them for effort. They introduced a brand new movement system, brought in loot and more guns than ever seen previously in COD along with an abundance of customization options. The campaign was solid along with zombies and renowned movie stars, such as Kevin Spacey really added a new layer to the game. Map Design - 8, maps in my opinion complimented the new movement system nicely and the dynamic map changes added a new and exciting layer to most maps - the one that sticks out in my head is the volcano erupting on Recovery and you have to move to a new map entirely. Every class of weapons could be used on every map and this adds a little bit of variety sometimes. Ofc the dominance of the steed, inferno, insanity and speakeasy somewhat negated this but it was nice to have that option Connections - 4, connections at the start of the game were incredibly poor and gradually got better throughout the game's life cycle. Nothing really more to say Dev Support - 2, initially looking at things on the surface an outsider would say dev support was amazing for this game. However with the addition of paid advanced supply drops and the negligence to the overriding community's outcry for SBMM to be removed and the laziness of patching and fixing issues such as connections, map glitches and gun balance along with lazy re-skins of old guns with re-used sound files I almost snapped the disc in half the only saving grace was that the pre-order bonus was not as ridiculous as it was for this year. If I don't pre-order this year, which I wont be due to my on going campaign to cut out this pre-order bullshit from the industry, i miss out on an entire map along with an open beta. Anyways that is for another comment. Overall I would rate Call Of Duty Advanced Warefare as a 4/10. However i commend Sledgehammer games for their innovation and creativity in trying to bring something fresh to the COD series. Now we as a COD community indefinitely prefer boots on the ground style shooters we can hope for better things in future titles hopefully.
Dude, you are way to forgiving on your ranking system. Especially when it came to developer support. Just from your description of what they did and didn't do to improve the game, and that they tried to distract people from the problems they weren't fixing by giving away loot, I would have gave them a 2 out of 10 rating. 1 for not doing their job by fixing the flaws, and 1 for being douchbags by trying to distract players from the problems their not fixing by giving away all that useless loot. But you did make a lot of good points on the other aspects of the game and I agree with a lot of them. It was just that last about the developers that got me in here. And I'm not one to voice my opinion very often about stuff online! Lol! Keep up the good work Ace!
final rating- 8.5 this might not be the majority opinion but conning from somone who didn't realy play cod before AW ( I have played others since) this game was realy, realy good. I like sbmm because it makes the games fun and competitive, and if you are not going to have a server browsed then this is a good second option. I didn't feel like variants made to big a difference, I could always use poorer varients and still enjoy myself. the movement was FUN. that basicly sums up the game for me. a FUN way to spend free time, let off steam and feel good when I doge incoming shots ( I am a bad player so the movement gave me a chance in every gunfight) . also I do not feel that toughness is crutch unless you are playing this like other cod games and stoping to shoot. gunfights are about who evades and outflanks quickest, not who sees who first. so yes. 8.5 and FUN
You could still enjoy yourself because you were playing at the lower levels of skill most likely. From what I remember playing at a 2 kd there was barely any weapon variety, and my team would most of the time end up getting stomped because I would get matched up against parties as a solo player. I would literally always have to run a good silenced ar or smg all the time and take flank routes, if I ever tried to use a shotgun, sniper, or a worse ar/smg or an lmg I'd get slaughtered. No offense but the people who don't mind sbmm are either the ones who play at the lower levels skill wise or the ones who run in a full party of good players and pubstomp solo players.
I don't understand how people were finding AW worse than Ghosts... Like, I accept saying they're about even (even though I would put AW a little higher), but I honestly found Ghosts unplayable. It was just instant-melt city for me. At least AW brought innovation and you could actually use the exo movements to counter an enemy shooting you in the back. The only thing I really disliked was how they did the Supply Drops. Weapon variants should be earned (and not those crappy variants which you do earn in AW; proper ones that are actually usable), but the end-tier variants should incredibly hard to earn. Anyway, enough rambling, I would give AW about a 7/10 or 7.5/10
You die just as quick in AW as you do in Ghosts. Plus, the exo movements means that even though you can dodge, the net coding means that you react too late to the encounter. The superb net coding in Ghosts means that when you encounter an enemy, you are in sync so your reactions to the situation means life or death. That is how it should be in a twitch shooter like Call of Duty
I'll give it a 6.5/10. I wasn't really into all the boosting 50 feet in the air, but I did enjoy playing classic mode all the time. Thing is, only like 30 ppl were consistently on classic so I was always playing against the same guys, haha.
I'm probably gonna get some shit for this but I would give AW an 8/10. The only thing that really killed it was weapon balance. The Exo movements were a lot of fun and I honestly think that the maps were what made them so annoying. The maps were built around the movement system so it embraced the chaos. Also the dev support wasn't that bad. They still added stuff and kept the game relatively fresh. Yes the reskins were bad but it was still new.
nope nope nope: Ok, maps.. They're ok! But advanced warfare as a whole? It is awful. The idea of supply drops, not to mention advanced supply drops, was terrible. Of course they were great for the debs who were swimming in the youtubers' "fake reaction" money. Honestly some people couldn't even get the new weapons they put out. I feel like if I am prestige 30, which I am, I deserve
+AllGamersGo to still be able to earn advanced supply drops. What am I supposed to do? This was unacceptable. Also, I did not get the obsidian steed until prestige 16 and did not get the rip until prestige 30. COME ONE SLEDGEHAMMER
I actually played EXCLUSIVELY on Classic playlists after Feb. 2015. Small player pool though so you'd recognize players from several days ago pretty frequently.
Ace I agree with you that toughness is important but I never use toughness and I still get 50+ games. I used it when I started but stopped after about 3 hours. Now I win most gun fights. With luck my first elite was and speakeasy in my first supply drop and did really well.
I would give it an 8/10 I enjoyed it a lot. I don't have much to compare it to though because they only other COD game I have played extensively is Ghosts which I enjoyed more and would have given an 8.5/10. I had nothing to compare the fast time-to-kill to so I had no issues with it.
the variants were also extremely frustrating, because of the luck factor. I reached prestige 12 AND still yet to have earned any of the good variants. still no insanity, inferno, hole punch, speak easy.. very frustrating and discouraging as well.
Connection for me a 3, I played a lot of momentum first few months yet on certain spawns and maps they were laggy as hell and I have been playing on a good connection yet I get lag thrown off maps! Bio lab and Terrace I'm looking at you! Dev support was one wy, only what they wanted to be supporting like certain youtubers. Streaks were ok and but maps were largely uncontrollable, if you push into a spawn on another COD the spawns flip, not on AW you just get trapped or spawned in the direction of the player who killed you. I had fun until maybe March. Then it was just a grind to get GMP which all we got was a suipt and some crappy Advanced supply drops, we should have been able to select 3 items we really wanted to complete a gear set or vet that elusive weapon.
I think that the dev support was good to begin with, they took in a lot of ideas from the community that treyarc and iw would of ignored and they buffed some of the less popular weapons.
I agree with you with the 6/10 overall. I think it was worse than ghosts, but just by a tiny bit, due to the huge differences between the different guns. I have around 5 days in AW and don't have any of the guns you mentioned as clearly better, and I suffered for it. Therefore, I would give gun balance a 4/10. Even though I agree 5 might be right as well, I think the differences were a little too harsh and those differences drove me away from this game, back to ghosts and BO2. Great vid though!! keep it up
I think that the some of the supply drop variant weapon stats could have been copied and pasted to the base guns. Then they could have kept the supply drops cosmetic only and will still be able to make money.
17 plus days played on classic no kangaroo warfare crap and blast suppressor not ever needed and while i did try reg mode it was wayyyy to chaotic for me n thats why thrust jumpin and wall runnin has me verrrrry nervious
I can't be bothered to spend the time to go through your criteria so I'll just say I thought it was a decent game because for most of the year I was entertained playing it when ghosts got me bored by about February.
I would most probably rate it a 5 / 10 as an overall. It wasn't a bad game, but the stuff they didn't fix just put me off. Also, weirdly enough my connection issues started near the end of AW life cycle, not the beginning.
Ace don't worry everyone's been at that situation at 4:23. I'm the first on the flag and I try and go for a kill while my teammates just stand there and I die and don't get the points for the flag lmao.
Hmmm i know ur talking from ur personal perspective but sometimes it seems like ur referencing what the cod community thinks, there were a few times in this vid u were like saying (not literally) everybody thinks like this. Not hating or anything but just wanted to say. Btw my rating is 7.5/10, this cod is my 3rd fav 1 is bo1 2 is mw3. Dev support i would rate higher, since they were responsive unlike ghosts was. I want gun variants to return because its what made people stay too the end of the life cycle, system hack was very annoying and made lots of ppl rage quit
+Techno Gamer181 Ohh yea i forgot to mention when u do these final reviews you never take into account the campaign and the game mode like exo zombies, even though multiplayer was a major part of cod it would be better if u rated the game as a whole
Ace spot on review! I would give it 5/10 or 6/10 and the reason is because connection just ruined it for me! Sbmm was also a big let down for me because I would be in a great lobby having great games with great connection and then I would be kicked from that lobby and put in a lobby that was already mid game with every kill streak raining down on me and having a 3 bar connection! Ok now I'm mad talking about it so 4/10 now lol
Honestly (and I hate to sound like everyone else) I didn't like AW at all. I got really hyped right before it came out and I feel like SHG really let me down. I tried going back on for the first time in 2 months and quickly realized why I had left in the first place. I know I'm in the majority and my opinion says very little, but AW could've been so great! If the devs had listened, I'd be playing the game right now. Ever since MW3, CoD has been my one and only, but since AW, I've started playing Halo, Destiny, Battlefield 4 (which is a really amazing game), and Titanfall. However, through it all, I realize that the feeling that I have right now, considering BOIII is LITERALLY 3 days away, is all part of the process. This exact same thing happens with every CoD. When the current one gets old, people hate on it and praise the next one and so on. Are we doomed to repeat this cycle throughout CoD history? Will this very issue lead to its demise, or possibly augment its success? I'd love to hear your opinions, guys. Anyway, enough ranting. As always Ace, great video, keep up the great work, and I'll see you in Blops Tres.
Probably 6.5/10 overall, love the exo movement until the end, but the varient system ruined it for me, haven't gotten a useful weapon in any supply drop for the last two months.
To answer your last question there, your rating of 6/10 is definetly reasonable, but you cant leave out the campaign and zombies. Id give the campaign a 7,5/10 and zombies a 5,5/10. The story was fairly exiting and Kevin Spacey really got me. Zombies on the other hand, was kinda just a retexture of BO2 zombies on a smaller map, boring easter egg/story, minor new inventions and everyone had exos. So coming to a personnal average of 6,5/10 seems fair enough.
trying not to be a fanboy and trying to be honest. I would honestly give aw a 7/10. I love this game, mostly because of the exo movement...... actually... only because of the exo movement xD. the weapon balancing and spawns, glitches and stuff were pretty bad xD
Just watched the entire video! Could you post a video like this a month after the bo3 release and then we can compare your score from the launch to your score at the end of the bo3 life cycle?
My final rating is literally based solely on ASDs simply because I feel that it hurts COD in the long run. ASDs are venturing into the pay to win area. I know it isn't yet, but it's very close which would mean that they could negatively impact the future of COD. ASDs might bring tons of money which actually happened, but eventually, someone's going to make a pay to win COD. In conclusion, I feel that ASDs are creating the base of an unstable COD game. I'm going to give this game a 6/10.
i think the worst thing for me was the removal of the tactical play because of the XO movement - it was certainly the thing that turned me off from it. My concern that this is not adopted to the extreme by other games like BO3 and Halo5 - having played the beta and now H5 they seem more balanced. I also think that snipers were far too powerful. Not even close to reality - a sniper could never run with that heavy long rife snap shot a moving target while standing. I thought this was also a problem with the BO3 beta. Couldn't agree more about Urban as it was far too congested for the XO moves etc. As for connection at first I had problems then you steered me to Netduma and things became a lot better, to say nothing of the improvement in my gaming results. My final rating is 4.5 out of 10!
My final rating was a 4. Lots of crap in this version from the very start. The game they released was a BETA as far as I'm concerned. It was several patches in, April or March, that they finally had a version that was stable and had all the elements. Yes, there were fun things and issues mixed, but what they put out last November was crap. I've played every Call of Duty from the first one... I've played online since MW2. I really like COD, but of them all this one is rock bottom as a player experience! I like a lot of the innovation, graphics, movement, weapons, maps, all of it was an advance, but it was an advance wrapped in crap and corporate greed. It's not one that I will want to go back to, ever.
i really hope they make another aw it was fun although you should only play against people who are in your region or what the game mode is, i have havoc, supremacy, and reckoning dlcs barely find matches and in aw i have nevr played the following, search/rescue, ffa, momentum, and capture t flag, i used to live in new jersey found decent games but then i moved to va didnt barely find games though.... that my only problems with aw though,,,,,,,,,,.........😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
Ace, I'm having trouble with my aim. I usually take 2-4 shots to hit my first shot. I was wondering what you would recommend to try and fix that. I watched your aiming tips videos and I still can't get my first shot down. Thanks for the help. Congrats on doing TH-cam full time
How come you always place your bombing runs in that odd way, do you have any video that explains it? I never really understood how it worked, like is it stronger in certain areas or does it start or end somewhere?
+STAN CXV It starts dropping bombs immediately, not just in the circular area so the further up the map you call it in, the faster it enters the map, without affecting the effectiveness of the bombs.
Making Cold Blooded counter threat detection means there'd be one more must have perk, lol... Tier 3 balance was bad enough. We didn't need to make threat detection more powerful because so many people *crutched* on support + threat detection.
Instinct is one of my least favorite maps Mostly because when you're playing search and destroy the enemy team is rushing alot and they are almost always sniping you other than that I liked most of the default maps
i wished that they could of gave us the dlc weapons, just the base variants instead of getting them thru ASD's. also they must of made a ASS load of money on ASD's. i've lost count on how much money i've spent on those damn things. i know its alot tho. but for me i had fun on it. They could of done with out urban, and sideshow and instinct. i hate those maps!
I just stopped playing dom cause of all of the annoying scorestreaks. There are constantly enemy streaks up, and with ones like the bombing run or Warburg, I will just keep repeatedly die if I try to step foot out side for a somewhat extended period of time. Good thing dom in BO3 isn't like this and its actually enjoyable.
scoring for domination was also way too simple streaks should be occasional not constant or easy to loop...good close to a poop game personally think aw was a 5 out of 10 at best
*I hate when randoms put Target Finder or some other ridiculous site onn a obsidian steed* fuckin annoying how they have that gun but dont use it properly and im still here trynna get the weapon lol
Didn't like this game. Biggest flaw for me was this main pillars and foundation of a call of duty game is gone. You had 400+ variants and still only 4-6 guns were used religiously. Bringing the same guns for royalty is a slap to the face and not being able to get guns with a grind challenge is a shame. Vertically doesn't work. Everyone experiences "where did he come from". And lastly the game is too fast. I've had 50-60 kill games and at the end of it I don't even remember playing because your constantly thinking and have to make quick and fast choices. I would give this game a little lower rating.
You're wrong low profile is the counter go in a private match and test it for yourself coldblooded counters threat grenades , recon drones and thermal scopes get your facts straight
TheXclusiveAce Woops, just tested it myself and found that low profile does counter it, must have heard it counters "threat" somewhere and assumed that meant threat detection :/
wish AW hadn't been a cod game. then alit of these issues wouldent have ment anything, for example things like map controlled, because people would not have had any pre conceived notions about how if was gona play, so less people would have been brutally disappointed by a good game which wasent the right kind of game for its target market
+Drakshl That is a good point. This game is completely different than the history of cut and paste CODs. The exo added a new level of mastery people would rather complain about rather than master it. Xculsive is my favorite TH-camr and he was a master of the game, but I was kind of shocked he was so harsh on the exo suite.
I really don't like aw that much. I think supply drops, especially advanced ones, ruined the game. Exos were a neat thing for this game but it ruined the flow. There were also some maps that I hated, and I would just back out if I had to play on it.
PS I could care less about Zombies, Aliens, Ghosts and crap that belongs in other games. If you want that play The Last of Us, it's great. Since they started that Hard Core and Mercenary have been gutted. For my way of thinking that's a loss.
this is all personal none actually factual or stuff i have prestiged in every cod since cod4 atleast 1 time ghosts included... i buy cod every year in hoping it will be the next big thing for me .. after abt 1 hour with AW i was already done my level is at 30-40 dont remember and most of that came from my friend playing cause he refused to buy it but played it on my console... hated everything the maps the guns the exo the perks and scorestreaks ... i give it a 2/10 the story mode was amazing as most cods are but call of duty isnt a story game ... its multiplayer and for aw it didnt deliver in the slightest.. Cant wait to get back this year into cod bo3 and hope it will turn things around for me :3!!
It's not an advantage because EVERYONE can have them. It's not like the variant system where someone gets an advantage because of luck. Also the war machine wasn't really that good in the beta
R.I.P. bal of duty: asm1 warfare when we fell we could boost right up we love how much customizations there was but the re-skins Omg smh you could of done better than showing you were lazy and the variants yes it was a good idea but didn't come out as you wanted some made the wack variants super good and if bal and asm1 were truly nerfed this game would be more than decent Signed by, cod community p.s. you will not be missed aw
7/10, the new content was kind of bullshit, the exos were fine IF YOU COULD EFFECTIVELY USE THEM, variants could get annoying, very few dlc maps I liked. If they had just stuck with the base game it would be better. Don't even get me started on matchmaking
When you were talking about weapons you didn't mention how the new added weapons were not added on the old gen (360 and ps3). Also you should have mentioned how the graphics were absolutely terrible for old gen. even if they had to dumb the games graphics and whatever else they had to to have the game on old gen, hot could the game look so much worse then older call of duties?
+UberAwesomeMan9 The reason I didn't mention last gen is to me the last gen version is it's not really the full game, it's a port made by a different studio in an attempt to best mimic the actual game that was designed to run on current gen systems. It wouldn't be fair to rate the game based on how well a different studio ported it to run on outdated systems.
I see some people saying 8/10..., really? Did you play it at all? You sure as shit did not play it at all on the PS3. the game barely functioned on that platform. It froze constantly for the first 4 months. It still drives me crazy thinking about it and that I got a season pass on that game. Between Ghosts then AW (worse game BTW) I am not planning on comming back to any cod game in the future. AW had horrible dev support, terrible weapon balancing, and the movement was way wacked out. even the zombies sucked (why did they have exo suits? Wtf) I would give this game a 4.5/10 or a 3/10 if you paid for the season pass that did not improve the game. It just makes it a more costly piece of crap.
Yo ace honestly you're such a real TH-camr, deserved way more subs. Been watching since 50k don't forget me man

A nice way to bring me 34 minutes closer to Bo3.
+TheTacticalRabbit - AW Tactics & Strategies Haha that's a good way of looking at it!
I actually can't wait
+JustBeanGaming the wait makes me want to die but if i die i can't play BO3. this is too much for me

Didn't like the maps
Connections were all fine out i dno where u live or whats ur internet like but connection for me was fine
Old comment, but if you're connection is bad use a wired Ethernet cable to your router, it makes a difference.
I agree, this game has awful gun balancing. I'd give it a 4-5/10.
final rating- 8.5
this might not be the majority opinion but conning from somone who didn't realy play cod before AW ( I have played others since) this game was realy, realy good.
+Lucas Anderson I agree, 8/10. Not as good as older CODs but not the worst we have seen thus far.
nope nope nope: Ok, maps..
Id give this game a 4/10, the weapon balance and sbmm and randomness absolutely ruined the game.
I actually played EXCLUSIVELY on Classic playlists after Feb. 2015. Small player pool though so you'd recognize players from several days ago pretty frequently.
Very good connections 9/10 and the game was 9,5-10/10 for me
I think Freefall is probably the best example of IW just throwing things in an open space
dev support 10/10 it's still being supported
Ace I agree with you that toughness is important but I never use toughness and I still get 50+ games. I used it when I started but stopped after about 3 hours. Now I win most gun fights.
With luck my first elite was and speakeasy in my first supply drop and did really well.
I would give it an 8/10 I enjoyed it a lot. I don't have much to compare it to though because they only other COD game I have played extensively is Ghosts which I enjoyed more and would have given an 8.5/10. I had nothing to compare the fast time-to-kill to so I had no issues with it.
+10TimesOver I beat you there mate. AW is the first COD multiplayer I have played. It was equal parts fun and frustrating
the variants were also extremely frustrating, because of the luck factor.
My first CoD was Ghosts for the PS4. I never needed to run toughness, and I'm an above average player.
I found more fun in wallrunning than exo boosting all over the place like a maniac but maybe its just the "new" factor and it'll wear out
I agree with you with the 6/10 overall.
Great vid though!! keep it up
I say about 7/10 mostly because im in favor of the exo movements but i can understand everyone else's opinions
Best COD channel, IMHO
Good review as usual.
Did you fix the stream yesterday. I didn't bother to check if you were online again after about the 4th time.
trying not to be a fanboy and trying to be honest.
I give it a 7/10 it was something different refreshing
The remote turret should have had a SAM module.
i think the worst thing for me was the removal of the tactical play because of the XO movement - it was certainly the thing that turned me off from it.
Forgot to mention weapon variants in the innovation section :)
AW: 6.5, The EXO feature was a FUN change for ONCE, but it wasn't executed amazing.
Liked it, got me back into playing cod
Same
i really hope they make another aw it was fun although you should only play against people who are in your region or what the game mode is, i have havoc, supremacy, and reckoning dlcs barely find matches and in aw i have nevr played the following, search/rescue, ffa, momentum, and capture t flag, i used to live in new jersey found decent games but then i moved to va didnt barely find games though.... that my only problems with aw though,,,,,,,,,,.........😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
+TheXclusiveAce Thanks for the fast reply mate, really appreciate it.
+TheXclusiveAce Nice, learned that 1 day before BO3 comes out.
Making Cold Blooded counter threat detection means there'd be one more must have perk, lol...
Tier 3 balance was bad enough. We didn't need to make threat detection more powerful because so many people *crutched* on support + threat detection.
+TSx92 That's why I also mentioned that I feel threat detection shouldn't be able to be combined with support on UAVs
+TheXclusiveAce I caught that part later on haha ;)
still better than modern cods
Instinct is one of my least favorite maps Mostly because when you're playing search and destroy the enemy team is rushing alot and they are almost always sniping you other than that I liked most of the default maps
Also I give AW a 6.5-7 out of 10
7/10 for me. you didnt include campaign/exozombies which were pretty good.
Agreed
i wished that they could of gave us the dlc weapons, just the base variants instead of getting them thru ASD's. also they must of made a ASS load of money on ASD's. i've lost count on how much money i've spent on those damn things. i know its alot tho. but for me i had fun on it. They could of done with out urban, and sideshow and instinct. i hate those maps!
hey ace how do u make your intros like what software? and do u do it or does someone do it for u?
Internet connection for me was absolutely horrible😡😡😡
I just stopped playing dom cause of all of the annoying scorestreaks. There are constantly enemy streaks up, and with ones like the bombing run or Warburg, I will just keep repeatedly die if I try to step foot out side for a somewhat extended period of time. Good thing dom in BO3 isn't like this and its actually enjoyable.
8/10 for me was great not to be confronted with campers every map
Already deleted AW from my xbox. Anyone else?
R.I.P advanced warfare. advanced warfare is a game you never will go back and play like modern warfare, bo1, MW2 or BO2.
I will
ok :D
See, you say that...
I will i love advanced warfare
I played 20 matches and never touched it again
Ace will u do the bo3 campaign on ur second channel?
Just do it on the main one
scoring for domination was also way too simple streaks should be occasional not constant or easy to loop...good close to a poop game personally think aw was a 5 out of 10 at best
*I hate when randoms put Target Finder or some other ridiculous site onn a obsidian steed* fuckin annoying how they have that gun but dont use it properly and im still here trynna get the weapon lol
*Sight*
Ikr
I have no sight on the steed and i got it at prestige 1
Lol yeah i hate when people dont have fun the way i want them to haha
Didn't like this game. Biggest flaw for me was this main pillars and foundation of a call of duty game is gone. You had 400+ variants and still only 4-6 guns were used religiously. Bringing the same guns for royalty is a slap to the face and not being able to get guns with a grind challenge is a shame. Vertically doesn't work. Everyone experiences "where did he come from". And lastly the game is too fast. I've had 50-60 kill games and at the end of it I don't even remember playing because your constantly thinking and have to make quick and fast choices. I would give this game a little lower rating.
Low profile doesn't counter the threat detection module, cold-blooded does. I'm not sure where your getting your facts from :)
You're wrong low profile is the counter go in a private match and test it for yourself coldblooded counters threat grenades , recon drones and thermal scopes get your facts straight
+xXChicken86Xx My facts come from testing it in the game. Test it for yourself, my facts are straight.
TheXclusiveAce Woops, just tested it myself and found that low profile does counter it, must have heard it counters "threat" somewhere and assumed that meant threat detection :/
Lol "I hope we never see a variant system in a call of duty again..."
wish AW hadn't been a cod game. then alit of these issues wouldent have ment anything, for example things like map controlled, because people would not have had any pre conceived notions about how if was gona play, so less people would have been brutally disappointed by a good game which wasent the right kind of game for its target market
These maps are better then BO3. Im already bored with those maps.
Are your thoughts on BO2 still the same?
+Commander Moustache yep!
Dev support was worse than IW's.
For my way of thinking that's a loss.
just the rating i would put 😉
this is all personal none actually factual or stuff i have prestiged in every cod since cod4 atleast 1 time ghosts included... i buy cod every year in hoping it will be the next big thing for me .. after abt 1 hour with AW i was already done my level is at 30-40 dont remember and most of that came from my friend playing cause he refused to buy it but played it on my console... hated everything the maps the guns the exo the perks and scorestreaks ... i give it a 2/10 the story mode was amazing as most cods are but call of duty isnt a story game ... its multiplayer and for aw it didnt deliver in the slightest.. Cant wait to get back this year into cod bo3 and hope it will turn things around for me :3!!
Fuck this game. That's all that needs to be said. I rather play COD Ghosts than Advanced Warfare.
I'de rate AW 5/10, BO 2 9/10
6/10 sounds fair to me.
I enjoyed the game alot
15:11 GET TURNED ON!!
+kevin k Ya, I don't know how he didn't kill me
TheXclusiveAce Bad player, that's why he was corner camping.
But in black ops 3, noobs will be having an advantage by using the specialist weapons and kill you instantly which is not fair just like variants
No because usually noobs don't have he accuracy to use it so it won't be op
Raged atlosing The warmachine for example. They can spam the grenades everywhere. what I am trying to say is that some of them were easy to use.
That I agree but if there noobs and your good it's easy to kill them
+amar abdalla yes,but not as op as a fucking 6man of bal obsidian steeds
It's not an advantage because EVERYONE can have them. It's not like the variant system where someone gets an advantage because of luck. Also the war machine wasn't really that good in the beta
I was in his game
I'm skaternoob113
R.I.P. bal of duty: asm1 warfare when we fell we could boost right up we love how much customizations there was but the re-skins
Omg smh you could of done better than showing you were lazy and the variants yes it was a good idea but didn't come out as you wanted some made the wack variants super good and if bal and asm1 were truly nerfed this game would be more than decent
Signed by, cod community
p.s. you will not be missed aw
7/10, the new content was kind of bullshit, the exos were fine IF YOU COULD EFFECTIVELY USE THEM, variants could get annoying, very few dlc maps I liked. If they had just stuck with the base game it would be better. Don't even get me started on matchmaking
blindeye makes useless streaks even more useless. put toughness in tier 1 and blast supp in tier 2. prob solved
then u have 2 really decide on what u use. hardline and harwire will still b viable options in tier 3
Will you miss your Ak-12? I know I will 💔
if bo3 variants are op like aw were, then we are fucked
There aren't variants
***** what are the supply drops for then?
+Xtreme Gaming i think weapon variants would be good only if it just changed the camo of the weapon like how Steel Bite was or the Doctor
Hmmmmm am I watching this late?
10/100000000000000000000000000000 no its still too much,de passion of hating
5.7 outa 10
5.5/10
Too low
Black Ops 3: 9.5 or 10/10
That's what i would give
The game hasn't even came out yet.
From the beta, yes. But I bet as the game progresses there will be problems
6/10
