This game did a lot of the little things right like fast loading times, being able to skip the intro when you boot the game, being able to edit classes mid-game, etc.
I just need to reiterate this point: THIS IS THE BEST FEELING COD. Gunplay, movement, all of the fundamentals are insanely polished and nothing comes close
@@killmonger4410 movement as in slide cancelling I assume… which either way is cheese as well. Literally learned it in half a second just like all my competitive players out there in the cod community, it was and is broken
The thing I love about MW is the attention to detail. There are so many little things like bolt catches and gun sounds that make me love this game. I absolutely love the blueprints where they changed the layouts and variants of weapons. I feel like I have the freedom to craft a weapon exactly for feel and looks how I want it to perform and feel. That is why I love MW.
Oh and I love how they went back to boots on the ground, non advanced movement. I havent bought a call of duty in awhile because everything felt super arcade-y and not as real as I would have liked. This brings me back to how I felt with MW2 and BO1. I like that style of gameplay. Not the style which BO3 had.
I don't think any COD game has come even close to these graphics and I am a Black Ops guy myself. The thing that made me not like this game was camping and map size. It was too viable to camp in this game which was a letdown considering the amazing graphics. Hopefully Cold War doesn't disappoint.
Holy crap i completely forgot about that. What also is annoying is that they got rid of the other coalition announcers. They had them at launch for Demon Dogs and Warcom but now Coalition uses the SAS announcer for all teams
@@kevink8560 No I meant it’s such a bad map I haven’t played it since launch. Everytime I see Hill it’s an instant leave so for me it’s like it doesn’t exist. Lol
modern warfare basically got me back into cod, i had seen previous cods and wasnt that impressed but seeing how modern warfare was a reboot and was firmly boots on the ground made me give it another chance. Plus this game opened a lot of people to COD content creators who i may not of been searching for had it not been for this game.
Same here. Ghosts was the last I played for more than 10 hours. I tried some of the newer but only MW2019 got me back from playing Battlefield. MW is not the best game but it is a step in the right direction
Same man. I left cod after those weird exo skeletons, and never bothered with multiplayer. But this cod dragged me back from battlefield as the graphics are simply god tier.
I really enjoyed the sheer amount of content that MW provides you with, and the gun variety was insane. I also really enjoyed the lobby music for seasons
i have never liked lobby music in any game never will . its all grinding and feels like it doesn't want you to relax between rounds, but builds the tension instead and hence the constant nerd rage from people who have yet to notice this. First thing i do on all MP games is turn off that damn Bourne identity post movie credit sound track . get AAL to write your lobby music and i might get on board until then please continue to allow us to turn that damn music off.
It was my first COD, i'm a battlefield guy, and dude... The animations, the sound design, the quality of the models, are among the best ones i have ever seen in a FPS game. I honestly can't compare it too much with other Cod's cuz is the only one i played, except for the cold war beta, witch was rather disappointing.
Ok so of course it was disappointing to you because you like being in a huge map and sitting in corner mw is disappointing compared to other cod’s but it’s basically the best battlefield
Lol bf 5 was supposed to be a cod killer now u you hear bf ppl be like wats that bf 1 kill the whole franchise with old weapons crap sniper n a dessert lol rip bf lol
@Loc T I believe it just came that this is the best selling COD In its first year ever,so it seems the people who have been bitching on the internet since the games beta have been nothing more than a vocal minority
The aesthetics in this game keep me coming back for more, a huge upgrade over cartoony BO4. The feel of the gun and the recoil, reload animations, top notch!
shoot house is the only map that kept me playing mp lol they should bring it back as a staple mw map like how nuketown is a staple bo map. shoot house never gets old
Shoot house was cool at first but it was the only map that didn't have a million windows and lines of sight. If it gets flogged as much as Nuketown has been, it'll be disappointing. I'd rather maps be a unique to their parent game. Besides, remade maps rarely play well in other cods. For example, firing range was an excellent map in bo, but it was garbage in bo4.
I just love how the game sounds, every sound in this game is amazing, each and every gun sounds in this game, especially the snipers, the hard hitting sound of a bolt action sniper is really amazing
I feel like I lucked out on being able to enjoy this game LOL. I hated playing it solo on release but once I got a squad together it became my most played COD ever, and I really never thought I’d ever play another COD as much as MW2. It’s definitely not perfect, but there’s always something fun to do between MP, WZ, and private matches.
honestly shoothouse is one of my favoruite maps ever. it has pretty much saved the mulitplayer for me this year where i really always felt like i could hop on and have a good time. whenever it wasn't as a stand-alone playlist (or along with shipment or rust etc.) i had no incentive to play multiplayer, but when it was i could play for hours. hope i get to see it again at some point in the future!
Shoothouse has had so much replay value that it was an instant classic from the moment it dropped. It will definitely be coming for sure in future CODs
For me too. Like you said, I would not have half of the playtime that I actually have if it weren't for Shoothouse aswell as Shipment. I really liked some other maps in this game like Gun Runner, Hackney Yard, Azhir Cave when people are moving around, and some other DLC maps like Petrov Oil Rig. However, as much as I liked those, there were still 2 other major problems that held me back from daily playing this game, and they were the red dots not showing in the minimap, aswell as footstep audio and not being able to permanently dead silent or at least less noisy. IMO, those were the 3 major problems for this game: map design, footstep audio, and the minimap. But once again, I think Shoothouse and Shipment saved this year for me at least.
yeah, me and friend started playing during season 1 when they had shoot the ship going all the time, and we put in hours playing together, and now shoot house a bit of nostalgia feeling to it.
The game did huge steps forward and huge steps back And I can't help but love it for the positives But hopefully the sequel improves on the foundation MW created
@@silerl8187 could say the lack of prestige, lack of a ranked mode, lack of good communication with the team, lack of map diversity (not saying the maps are bad but they are way focused on certain environments and, at launch, small maps were almost non-existent) Most of these don't really affect me, but I know for many facts that there are many others that their enjoyment was affected by this If anyone wants to add into this list, go ahead. But besides these ones, the rest seems irrelevant (And no, the weapon balance is far from bad.)
I like how you are able to say nice things about a game you dislike so much. It is unfortunately rare today for people to be able to speak highly of what they do not like. (I put this same comment on Part 2)
@@ItsJohnnyIVx think you wrong, unless they done an update on MW3, because i used to play MW2 and MW3 on PS3 and i don't remember that. Then i switch to PC games and here i am on cod many years later
SBMM is what really made this COD devicive. The Graphics are literally stunning & the attention to detail is amazing! The GunPlay is the best! It sounds & feels like your actually shooting a gun! Yes there are things that bother me about it, but playing Cold War & that Janky Movement like COD from 10 yrs old is just a step back. They pushed COD so far Technically that I feel like Cold War is taking steps back hence why they are keeping the MW engine for WarZone. The Game is no where near perfect or the Best COD ever, but it's definitely better than a ton of kids give it credit for!
This. MW 2019 was the first CoD since MW3 which I played again. I never liked Treyarch games and I just prefer IW CoDs. The mechanics, the gun smith etc. were great. My biggest issues with the game are SBMM and all those sweats bunny hopping across the maps, which just kills the realistic scenery.
@@pologolf91 Couldn't of said it better myself my brother! Honestly if they removed SBMM & just had Public Lobbies & Ranked, This Game would of been Even more amazing!
what really gets me though is they added free dlc, i never really buy dlc’s in call of duty games, but the battle passes were neat and i didnt have to pay money to use new guns
Been playing Call of Duty since 2003. First Call of Duty I have been any hours into since BO2. Such an innovative Call of Duty. Ill be stuck on this over BOCW
The look and feel of the game is amazing. Plus im nuts when it comes to tinkering and customization. There is a really cool video on TH-cam that showcases the attention to detail that they put into the animations and realism as well that brings a new level of appreciation for it for me.
Ive played thousands upon thousands of matches and its very meh. Its the prettiest looking one in the past decade but marred with terrible map design and game mechanics. Having made a ton of money means nothing, when you friggin have tons of microtransactions and an sbmm system that caters to noobs so they stay longer and potentially buy said microtransactions. Just look at EA.
I don't think so bro... We had a lot of bad gameplay decisions and making money doesn't represent quality. If we look at the recent Venom movie, we can see clearly that. But talking about preference, you can like any game you want.
MW had one if if not the biggest gamemode variety in COD history! The killstreak system is very good! Alot of maps are bad but those who are good are excellent!(Rammaza is very underrated). Regardless of what you think of some of the maps, you have to agree that MW took us back to maps that are way closer to COD4 and MW2 maps. They are dynamic and asymmetric and if done right, it's the best that COD can be!
I'm a PC player and MW is my first experience ever with the CoD franchise and i absolutely loved it. I grinded multiplayer still months after Warzone launch and had a blast until it has now naturally died down a bit these last couple of months. I have allways been a sucker for "good feeling shooters" and MW deffo fit that bill. I loved 6v6 and 10v10 modes and opposed to Ace i never liked the big scale combat that was Ground War. So as a player with no preconceived opinion on what a CoD game should be like or any referenses back to previous titles i think this game was extremely good and entertaining, loaded with content and variation, some good maps, stunning visuals and good sound overall. It kept me busy for way longer thatn i expected and i would say it has been my main game ever since i started playing a few weeks after its release and it has been worth every penny for me. Through MW i also found this youtube channel wich is the cherry on top! Keep it up XclusiveAce, vi sees i Cold War :)
While this game definitely has its flaws, I loved it and plan on playing it for a long, long time. BOCW looks fun but, zombies and multiplayer has just disappointed me. Hoping this gets the Infinite Warfare treatment and has post launch content for another year.
@@Emil62003 Because of the fact they're refusing to let aether just end already. I didn't enjoy Chaos story as much as I did the aether but I was happy to see it finally end somewhere that made sense. They're banking off of juggernog being back and if the leak about loadouts is true, then I have no real reason to buy
@@onecritwonder2338 yea zombies has just died for me after some questionable choices made with the story line. I don't think you should be disappointed if you haven't even played it though
Something worth mentioning when talking about the battlepasses: they actually awarded you COD points within the tiers, meaning you could buy the pass once and buy the next with points from that pass. That was huge!
@@reecewild242 yeah I know, just stating he didn't mention it when he talks about the amount of content we had at launch Also its bullshit how they pulled it from the game for months, essentially killing the entire realism community
I loved the amount of weapons and customizations you get in MW. The campaign was great too. It certainly is not the best there is in the franchise, but it sure it up there because of how realistic it portrays the horrors of war.
i loved many small details like the weapons flying and twisting when someone gets killed or the attention to detail in the weapons . the smoke coming out of the barrel when reloading , the on point reload animations, gunsmith and all that stuff.
I love how polished and real this feels for a cod game, without going to seige and battlefields levels. I haven't REALLY played a cod game since ghosts, and this one just feels amazing to me. I could play mw 2019 for another year with ease.
would be quite short If I did it :D bad spawn system especially on small maps like rust and Shipment (at least in view spawns and spawns behind ppl should not be possible) PS 1 year exclusive mode coop at first too hard GBs on PC for each patch and the whol egame. 250 is a LOT :D and missing detailed infos in gunsmith plus, nit the games fault, the patch notes were...well dubious. that would be it for me tbh
I love the walking, running and extra sprinting ability, you sprint how an actual professional soldier sprints (muzzle up) and it makes you feel less locked in a box or limited to just jogging with your weapon pointed to your side (where friendlies are)
Crossplay, free dlc, sounds and visual designs, campaign, and monetization design. The game did so much right and really had (and has) so much potential. It really could be the best call of duty of all time if they just tweaked parts of the game.
I'm worried to watch the next video. I absolutely love this game. My favorite since mw2. And its hard to hear a popular youtuber that I like to follow talk absolute trash on one of my favorite cods. But I'll still watch and hope to not get triggered 😂
@@jti107 yeah I know. I'm not fully sure why and wi try and watch with an unbiased viewpoint. I guess I personally love it for it's realistic feel. Can't say the same for cold war. Probably skip this year and wait for mw2!
@@vitaminme4203 That's exactly why they hate it. Not enough acardy for them. Not enough run and gun like mad men. They hate to have to check more than 2 places where an enemy could be. They think everything is made for camping, even if there is so much tools to counter camping in most of the cases. They think everyone is camping only in MW, forgetting how campy almost every CoD have been, and not thinking camping is tied to the level of the players. Honestly I ran very little into campers, it's like I don't play the same game than these whiners about camping. They hate the game for everything we love it. To be honest the game could have been even better for us if IW and/or Activision did not freak out after the alpha/beta of all the CoD fanboys who hate when things changes and where playing the shitty-no-recoil-no-brain-BO4. They are the minority now, CoD needed to change, the numbers are here and they say the truth : CoD was becoming a niche game of old grumpy fanboy (enfin if most of them are young). For god sake, I had a guy on Reddit ranting over the game saying to me that now with MW he could not do other things while playing like talking to the phone or laughing with other people in the same room and still win. The dude was complaining the game forces him to be focus. What the hell ?!?
@@IroquoisPlissken tbf COD was never really a realistic game, as good as the graphics are but if people can hide in really dark shadows and not be seen or if the sun blinds you in a game then something is wrong, the sounds are way too loud catering to a slow/tactic playstyle wich is a turn off for me, and let's be honest there are way too many scopes in the game and the sbmm is too strong i don't mind if it is there as long as it is done properly. I might hate the game so much but if you like it then have fun with the game! I personally like CW more than MW19
I really liked the ttk, just being able to melt through people compared to previous cods is so satisfying along with the introduction of a headshot multiplier that actually mattered on gunfights compared to previous cods where it would only do 1.1x more damage unless you had high caliber
@@oldhoonta they could’ve simply made all bundles mission challenges where you either buy the certain sub challenge out or complete it yourself. They wouldn’t have to give out free CP since each challenge could stack to make the same cost of the actual bundle.
I mean, saying that campaign was good is an understatement. It removed all that action-movie - explosions - john wick type things, and put some realism in (it is a cod ofc, but im saying about stuff like cleaning house misson), combined with a great feel of a game and awsome details made a very good rememberable experience. Also the spec-ops was very satisfying and i really enjoyed it. It is one of the best games to play offline or in co-op
I think modern warfare revived the series, now, I’ve never played a modern warfare in my entire life I’ve been black ops since I was 5 but I watch videos on this game constantly and honestly it’s pretty good looking. But my only complaint really is.. 725.
I like that the playlists are always changing for the multiplayer gameplay. For warzone I love all the limited time modes as well as having the ability to buy back team mates
I really like that they made a game that caters so well to the dirty campers so that when Black Ops Cold War comes out, those players will stay with MW and let us run and gun
@@Lordbitness we had very different experiences then. I played non-stop until the beta closed, and even though the game had countless flaws, I was having an amazing time solely because of the lack of campers.
For some reason executions is a big one for me. Disappointed Cold War won’t have them. It adds to the customization uniqueness for your character. Character customization in Cold War in the beta are giving me mobile game vibes. Idk I cant explain it
I didn't like it never used it but to me it is a waste of time i just wanna have an option to skip watching it and just get back into action and not waste time
@@ImRedRain You have to be behind someone to do it. If you cant panic knife you shouldnt be able to insta-kill with a melee from the back either. So i think it makes sense.
One of my favorite things about this game is yes what you said about the animations and gunplay! I love how I can turn an assault rifle to be just as good as a submachinegun, or even machinegun! I can turn my playstyle into any weapon I want, and I wish more cods did this and I hope they keep doing this in the future.
The thing is, the trade off for having free weapons instead of supply drops is that we get strict SBMM. I would rather have supply drops and no strict SBMM.
The guns and gun smith are what I keep coming back for. It is amazing to get the custom beowolf sized barrel and muzzle break from one m4 blueprint and put it on the skeletonised receiver from a 2nd blue print with a 3rd blue prints xrk designed stock with 458 rounds and Platnium camo. I can't stop inspecting that gun in game I've been using it for months. Being able to change the actual design of a weapon and not just its paint colour is what makes me enjoy this game just as much as the last cod game I enjoyed being mw2
This cod is probably my favorite since BO2. It's not your typical run and gun cod, which is part of why this game is so successful (people are bored of forced 3 lane maps). This was the refresh that COD needed even if it split the community, and I think this will lead to an upward trajectory of future infinity ward cods.
I agree, it is a game that many many people from many different fan bases will like but at the cost of that gave something the standard strict “call of duty fans” weren’t the biggest fans of. I for one appreciated the changes and how it broke off from the standard cod formula
@@00Foxhound I said forced 3 lane maps. Shoot house isn't forcing you down 3 lanes, because of the interactivity (you can cross over lanes + the upstairs area near the back of that one spawn). Maps from cods like infinite warfare do.
I pretty much agree with everything you said, Ace. My likes: -graphical and sound fidelity -excellent animations -lots of modes and playlist features -in game loudout editing -better game settings like tweaking auto aim behavior (I agree, this should be strived for in all shooters going forward) -cross play (I usually have it off but still, it’s available) -excellent gun and soldier models -executions -great physics engine for travers ability and fast paced gameplay -top 5 COD campaigns -lots of content updates (I didn’t purchase much from the marketplace but still) -gunsmith (a good start with full of potential) -the absolute best COD when it comes to knife throwing classes and physics. That’s all I ever do
I'm with ya. I hate this game so much. Godzilla feet, clutter on maps, no dead silence, safe spaces, vtol jet that blows your eardrums out and a DOOR FETISH
For me I agree it was nice that all new weapons came free, all you had to do is play and earn it. Also I too like that items in the store were a take it or leave it, mentality. If I wanted it I could get it and if I didn't I could leave it. All it was purely cosmetic, and everything was already available to me if I unlocked it with game play. The officer challenges were nice, they did have you try the different game modes to earn them. Which was nice because at least I did play them to know if I like them or not. Cross play was nice since I do believe it did insure that there were always enough players for whatever mode you enjoyed playing.
I like how modern warfare made many different optics within the same category. In previous games there was just Red Dot Sight, and ACOG Scope, and Thermal Sight, now there are different kinds of scopes and sights.
Too many issues with this game on day one for me. Totally turned me off; however, they recovered pretty well, just a little too late for my liking. Crossplay was probably the best thing for CoD imo
@@darrenkelly7271 I haven't bought a game on launch in years. That lesson was learned long ago. MW couldn't even fix their own spawn logic for the longest and even when they finally did, it was still crouch walk for the longest time after that.
@@39gkastor fair point. I still don't think the spawns but personally it doesn't bother me that much. I mean shipment they've literally just turned it off!
I like pretty much everything in MW. The only things they need to add are a traditional mini map and scorestreaks instead of killstreaks and it'd be perfect.
I honestly like the way the compass works. After watching JGOD's vid about the compass, I started paying more attention to it and you can so much more accurately follow where enemies are/where they're going to be, by the compass. On the minimap unless you have a UAV up its honestly way more difficult being borderline inconvenient instead. I've always sorta felt this way even in older CoDs, I've always wanted some change with the minimap or another UI element, and the compass definitely does that. I also enjoy using Pointman perk for scorestreaks if I want to use them. Otherwise, I enjoy killstreaks more cause it feels more rewarding.
1. Attention to details (realistic firearm behaviors/immersive sounds and animations and more) - nobody else so far can touch this 2. Weapon balance is actually descent, though it probably took them many months to get it right. Nothing feels awkwardly broken. 3. Modern military shooter theme - we haven't had this since Ghosts and that's been 6 years... 4. Diverse map design and complexity + the ability to parkour around it 5. Killstreaks actually feel dangerous and rewarding to use 6. Great balance between nostalgic style and innovative gameplay 7. Night maps w/realism - it absolutely brings a whole new gameplay experience even with just a few twists like these 8. Interesting quirks like weapon inspection, execution, quips, watch and maybe weapon effects from some bundles + everything else Ace mentioned
This could of been the best cod game in years but they did some stuff wrong that made me not enjoy it as much 1. The mini map doesn't work 2. Safe spaces 3. Sbmm too strong 4. The servers were kinda laggy 5. Ghost wasn't a perk 6. Spec ops is kinda bad 7. Maps are big for no reason and this game should of been a 8v8 by default and no 6v6
Another Right I wanna point out is the guns balance. In MP, I encounter most of the guns being used, not like some other fps games M4, AK dominating entire time. probabaly not good at warzone. But in MP, it's definitely a good sign
@@TheOneandOnlyCornBread Im aware they are still the best. But I can see lots of plyers using like m13 ram mp7 or even uzi and being able to get a decent KD.
i am one of those silly gun nerds. the level of attention to detail in this game was so satisfying and cool to see. your character presses mag releases, bolts actually move on some automatic weapons, etc. also I really like how in the gunsmith you can change a weapon to be an essentially different weapon. I love the AK-74 in this game for example, which is the AK-47 with 5.45.
Everything related to asthetics of the game was done right The guns felt so good in this game man... Like i had so much fun just shooting these various guns thoughout my game cycle... I will definitely be playing this game even after cold war launches... Its really the best call of duty game for me... I'd love to give the throne to cold war but there's time...
You want to know why I love MW Ace? Well here you go: Dynamic map design, smaller maps that are fast paced, larger maps that reward smarter movement(flanking and taking the best route, not camping). Awesome killstreak, awesome guns, awesome sound design, the sniping is excellent(the best in COD IMO), SMGs are awesome, shotguns are fun as hell, ARs are very good, melee weapons are fun as hell, pistols are viable and good, explosive are viable and good, ground war is chaotic and fun, gunfight is faced paced and fun, game mode variety is probably the best in COD, awesome cosmetics, epic multikills on shipment, executions, field upgrades are a very good addition. And legitimately, some maps like rammaza are amazing. Its a map that encourage fast-ish but smarter movement. You take the best flanking route, you outsmart your enemy. That's what makes MW so damn awesome! MW is what MW2 merged with COD 4 would've been. It's the modern day modern warfare game.(although with a couple of missteps I grant you)
Won't repeat all you listed, only that I enjoyed many hours just toying around in Private Mode trying all kinds of different (and sometimes crazy) loadouts with the Gunsmith.
This is the first cod i really enjoyed for a while and i still play it. I loved the weapons, the gameplay, the gunsmith for me was perfect, the variety of attachments that you could use on your weapon is great, you can make it fit perfectly for the style you play. The content was great, free guns, free maps and new gamemodes like the new zombies royale. The only thing i could say that hurted this game were the maps, i can say i only like 30% of them, another 20 or 30% i don't mind playing in them but the rest are really unfun to play. Overall i loved this game and had a really great time with it
I can honestly say, I loved this years COD. Modern Warfare has been great since day one for me as far as everything you mentioned and I agree with pretty much every point you had accept one. You mentioned not feeling pressured to spend money. Although I knew I did t have to spend money to get any of the new items technically I did notice a pattern that the only way to get the same OP experience you did have to buy whatever new weapon pack came out when new weapons were introduced otherwise you would miss the “OP period”. What I mean by the “OP period” is that when a new weapon got dropped it would break the game and it’s all you get killed by and all that was talked about. Then while your trying to do whatever challenge to get that particular weapon you were getting murdered by it and overly frustrated by its brokenness knowing that a nerf is mostly coming and by the time you actually get the weapon unlocked and leveled up will be right around the time it gets NERFED!. The pressure part came in knowing that is a deliberate strategy and marketing tactic designed to get people to buy bundles to gain access early and even have a few starter attachments just to be ahead of other gamers that preferred doing the challenges and earning there weapons. They purposely introduced unbalanced and over powered weapons to get the toxic players to buy there bundles and which pressured regular players to buy bundles just to keep up. Sounds like pay to win to me but with a different mask even though it’s only temporary till the next OP gun comes out.
I liked a lot of things, the main things being Gunsmith, the realistic looks and sounds of guns, and the 2v2 gunfight mode was a hidden gem I hope every COD has from here on
I appreciate that the devs were willing to change features and mechanics based on community feedback. I remember there being a huge thing early on about the compass and showing enemy positions and I believe it ended up in a more favorable state when the topic was no longer being discussed. Some changes came slower than others, but I don't recall a whole lot that had a huge outcry in the community and wasn't attempted to be satiated in a near patch.
I feel to attached to MW I played the CW beta alpha didn’t enjoy it felt like I was playing a cod game from 10 years ago I’m sticking with MW and they will keep adding content next year save your money and buy Cyberpunk
My main positives for this game is the graphics, animations but mostly the fact that there was a lot you could play and you could filter what game mode you want to play, when the gameplay started getting bad you could go and grind for camos, do missions and daily missions, officer challenges and the variety of different types of game modes from respawn to non respawn to ground war to Warzone
1: Warzone that was free to play. This gave people a chance to try the game out, and enjoy it, as a previous Battlefield clan, we had so many that gave it a go and after having some fun in Verdansk, they soon joined up and bought Modern Warfare. 2: Crossplay, this in itself stopped the limitations for some that had not given their gaming pc's some love and affection, and the fact that they were able to play with pc communities made it awesome :)
I love the attention on detail in this game!! Maps, characters/operators,guns killstreak quotes,NVG mode and many many more, made the game feel so "real". Like the fact that you can see the box empty when you shot every round in an lmg (even the last 5-10 rounds just hanging on the side), how the deagle recoil pulls the hands back, how the default mag in the M13/P90/M4/AN-94 you can see the exact amount of bullets left!! The blood type of the operators is on their clothing, their unique quotes when shot, their executions. The enviromental sound certain objects do when you are next to them (like hot metal from destroyed cars, or the drill from Oil Rig), how the sound changes when you go from concrete to dirt to mud to water (even for a single step). All i m trying to say is, if Infinity Ward: 1. Reduced SBMM 2. Added map voting 3. Reverted the mini map 4. Removed Pointman and allowed us to pick scorestreaks over killstreaks for free 5. Improved the stability of Warzone and fixed is bugs and the cheater problem 6. Had better maps (they could bring so many good maps from passed IW tittles and we got only meh maps) This CoD would have been the best CoD in history!!! period!! But, this game started as a 7.5/10, it could have been a 9/10...but its a 6
- Graphics - Audio design - Gunplay - Weapon camo options - Sandbox Multiplayer experience (a lot of gameplay style options ans freedom) - Gunsmith (so many customization options) - Seasons (allthough the content could have been of a larger quantity for MP) - Going back to MW2 map design principles (allthough they went overkill, but still liked having a sandbox experience again that was more varied) - Operators designs and characters - Battle Pass content - Halloween Event - Gunfight - Editing classes mid-game
MW2019 is a top 5 Cod of all time !!!!! BY far the best ps4 gen cod. It saved cod and made it relevant again it brought back so many people all the OG cod fans because it brought Cod back to its roots with the MW realistic feel and themes, not the trash and unrealistic cartoony theme and feel BO3,4. It has a new engine with all the good that brings like realistic graphics, sound, animations, and more. Cross-play, FREE DLC like maps guns no pay to win like BO3,4 No seasons pass no supply boxes. It has so much content like for MP: gunfight, 6v6,10v10, ground war and the trials, one of the best campaigns ever, spec ops with the missions and survival plus WARZONE that's free and made Cod relevant and the best game ones more. I absolutely love the blueprints where they changed the layouts and variants of weapons. I feel like I have the freedom to craft a weapon exactly for feel and looks how I want it to perform and feel. That is why I love MW.

Shoot house is a golden age map only problem I have other than shoot the ship is office campers though that’s pretty minor

How can you like BO2 and this game at the same time? They're basically opposites...
I pretty much agree with everything you said, Ace. My likes:
-graphical and sound fidelity
-excellent animations
-lots of modes and playlist features
-in game loudout editing
-better game settings like tweaking auto aim behavior (I agree, this should be strived for in all shooters going forward)
-cross play (I usually have it off but still, it’s available)
-excellent gun and soldier models
-executions
-great physics engine for travers ability and fast paced gameplay
-top 5 COD campaigns
-lots of content updates (I didn’t purchase much from the marketplace but still)
-gunsmith (a good start with full of potential)
-the absolute best COD when it comes to knife throwing classes and physics. That’s all I ever do
Even though i really hated this game, ace has some really good points about the good things about this game (non gameplay related)
This is probably the most frustrating cod I’ve ever played, but it’s the prettiest
Really? MW2 and MW3 were insanely frustrating for me. BOCW is already getting there
I like how modern warfare made many different optics within the same category.
Lesson number 1, never buy a cod on launch.
@@darrenkelly7271 I haven't bought a game on launch in years. That lesson was learned long ago. MW couldn't even fix their own spawn logic for the longest and even when they finally did, it was still crouch walk for the longest time after that.
What issues?
@@39gkastor fair point. I still don't think the spawns but personally it doesn't bother me that much. I mean shipment they've literally just turned it off!
Ground War is still my favorite mode
It's amazing, chaotic, exhilarating, frustrating, sometimes you hate it but you come back for more
I like pretty much everything in MW.
1. Attention to details (realistic firearm behaviors/immersive sounds and animations and more) - nobody else so far can touch this
2. Weapon balance is actually descent, though it probably took them many months to get it right. Nothing feels awkwardly broken.
3. Modern military shooter theme - we haven't had this since Ghosts and that's been 6 years...
4. Diverse map design and complexity + the ability to parkour around it
5. Killstreaks actually feel dangerous and rewarding to use
6. Great balance between nostalgic style and innovative gameplay
7. Night maps w/realism - it absolutely brings a whole new gameplay experience even with just a few twists like these
8. Interesting quirks like weapon inspection, execution, quips, watch and maybe weapon effects from some bundles
+ everything else Ace mentioned
This could of been the best cod game in years but they did some stuff wrong that made me not enjoy it as much
1. The mini map doesn't work
2. Safe spaces
3. Sbmm too strong
4. The servers were kinda laggy
5. Ghost wasn't a perk
6. Spec ops is kinda bad
7. Maps are big for no reason and this game should of been a 8v8 by default and no 6v6
Ace breaking it down perfectly, standard procedure. Good job man. Love your channel.
Another Right I wanna point out is the guns balance. In MP, I encounter most of the guns being used, not like some other fps games M4, AK dominating entire time. probabaly not good at warzone. But in MP, it's definitely a good sign
Yeah it only took them nearly a year to balance things. The meta hasn't changed from the beta, it's depressing.
MP5 M4 and 725 have been and still are the best guns in the game by a huge margin
Everything related to asthetics of the game was done right
The guns felt so good in this game man... Like i had so much fun just shooting these various guns thoughout my game cycle... I will definitely be playing this game even after cold war launches... Its really the best call of duty game for me... I'd love to give the throne to cold war but there's time...
Best cod!? I mean i respect your opinion, but it really does not compare to the iconic cods
Same man, same.
@@Spryze chill, everyone has their favourite... for me MW was great on paper, but played poorly. I was more frustrated then enjoying the game.
@@Ssuli99 thats why i said i respect his opinion... and gave my view on things
Gunsmith, in-game editing, camos, SO MANY COSMETICS AND BLUEPRINTS, Ground War, gunplay. Loved all those things.
You want to know why I love MW Ace? Well here you go:
Dynamic map design, smaller maps that are fast paced, larger maps that reward smarter movement(flanking and taking the best route, not camping). It's the modern day modern warfare game.(although with a couple of missteps I grant you)
XD BRO
Wtf u mean, mw is the worst cod for sniping like bro how can u think this is the best sniping cod mind boggling
I didnt read this
@@nuhrv5395 the kar98, the MK2 carbine, the SPR, the AX50. MW has AMAZING sniping!!
@@YormanOrtiz then you contribute nothing

Overall i loved this game and had a really great time with it
What MW did wrong: the 725, Riot Shield, Nerfing the C4, No dead silence as perk.
And most of the multiplayer maps
Now the c4 kills you cuz it weighs about 2 tonnes
The 725 I think it's balanced, but Riot shield and specially the c4 nerf are terrible
Okay but SBMM and “Safe Spaces”
This is a positive video dude he’s gonna make a negative tomorrow
SBMM isn’t going anywhere bro. All major deva are implementing it
SBMM is a boogeyman
@@elongatedborzoi1160 ik but in case IW sees this vid I want them to see comments like this
Safe spaces were in older cod games. They just were never labeled that as they didnt really serve the map much to begin with.
I liked a lot of things, the main things being Gunsmith, the realistic looks and sounds of guns, and the 2v2 gunfight mode was a hidden gem I hope every COD has from here on
The greatest feature in this cod was death chat, and you cannot change my mind.
Agree
Next game i want all audio audible for non warzone/ Search and destroy
I feel you !
The gunplay was really good. It felt really good and hella realistic.
Yeah, "realistic". Shooting the whole mag full auto and killing people over 200m away XDD
The weight of weapons and their sway is amazing, there is virtually no recoil in this game making gunplay horrible.
I’m not talking balance here. Just how it feels to play. The balance was shit
@@ghendo7418 yeah I agree, the feels of how much guns move and their weight is amazing, looking around with a pkm vs a stripped down smg is insane.
There is going to be a huge drop off in amount of players moving over to Cold War. Why would I buy a new COD when I get Warzone for free?
And allegedly zombies too?
@@esaammirza4361 idm zombies is free? I thought it was only dlc that was free?
@@esaammirza4361 no you still have to buy the game but post launch content is free
@@Emil62003 Ah ok
Warzone is so boring
All i m trying to say is, if Infinity Ward:
1. Reduced SBMM
2. Added map voting
3. Reverted the mini map
4. Removed Pointman and allowed us to pick scorestreaks over killstreaks for free
5. Improved the stability of Warzone and fixed is bugs and the cheater problem
6. Had better maps (they could bring so many good maps from passed IW tittles and we got only meh maps)
This CoD would have been the best CoD in history!!! period!! But, this game started as a 7.5/10, it could have been a 9/10...but its a 6
I hate mw and still have over 600hours just because there is no other "better" game

- Graphics
- Audio design
- Gunplay
- Weapon camo options
- Sandbox Multiplayer experience (a lot of gameplay style options ans freedom)
- Gunsmith (so many customization options)
- Seasons (allthough the content could have been of a larger quantity for MP)
- Going back to MW2 map design principles (allthough they went overkill, but still liked having a sandbox experience again that was more varied)
- Operators designs and characters
- Battle Pass content
- Halloween Event
- Gunfight
- Editing classes mid-game
It's the best selling cod of all time. From now on it's the new standard for a Cod Graphic wise content-wise monetization wise !!!!! that's why BO cold war is heated because it's a downgrade from MW2019.
