Warframe is my most played on Steam so this is a no brainer. "Iterating on what works" seems exactly what this one does and many more games should do if they want to be successful. Truly hyped for it!
I really wish more gamers took this stance. Innovation is just as good as invention. Making something people already like BETTER is just as important/necessary. It provides needed competition, pushes tech forward, enables meaningful discourse and much more. Just annoyed people see things and just say "oh it's a (insert game) copy". I can’t believe Warframe wasn’t even mentioned in this……I’m one of the few that enjoyed Anthem very much only to see it fail the way it did makes me cautious of this game. But it’s free to play so it might last longer
RIP anthem and godfall, and outriders, those games died instantly, i hope TFD does not fall on launch too. it seems warframe is the only good looter shooter these days

It’s Nexon. If there’s one thing you can depend on it’s them Fuq’ing their titles over with horrible micro transactions. Pay walling the most basic stuff is going to happen it’s just a matter of time.
The most innovative aspect of the game, judging by some American reviews, is that they seem to have a new, 3 syllable version of modules called “mod-you-wools”!! Are these modules that specifically attach to me and are made of wool?
I prefer the more streamlined weapons research (from Warframe) than the crafting system and storage filled with unnecessary trash loots here. IDK, have fingers crossed on this game. We shall see.
This that’s one thing I don’t like about destiny a stronger weapon is always dropping so your swapping weapons alot unless it’s a special one that’s stronger than normal
Played both betas and love it gameplay feels great. I tried warframe myself and didnt get into it at the time but this one hits the spot for me just right. Very excited for it 😁
Big fan of them listing where to get ingredients so we don’t have to live on wikis. Not a big fan of Nexon’s track history with their monetization practices. The customization already sounds kinda crazy on costs…
I really enjoyed the two beta tests they had (and the alpha and playtest I was invited to) and the devs delayed the game to make some changes to the game that we begged them to make. Now they didn't make all the changes obviously but they made some and that's a start. Yes, the "open world" is quite barren still, but in the end it's the gameplay and I really enjoy the shooting and movement etc. in the game. I can see the gameplay loop getting old fairly fast yes, but aren't most looter shooters like this? Especially F2P games like this. And no, Bunny is not my favorite Descendant lol
The problem with looter shooters is that devs stop updating their game regularly and go radio silent, looking at you The Division 2. 😉 If you communicate and add regular interesting content drops the sky is the limit.
My biggest worry is Nexon themselves, they have a notorious history of shutting down game. When I first saw the game I thought awesome and that was until I saw the studio behind it. Their history of shutting down games will therefore make me super reluctant to spend any real money on it.
Level 20 in the first 3hrs playing. Still on the 3rd quest lol. Kept doing 1 quest over and over for Bunny and still didn't get what I needed. Learned it was another whole other mission I needed to do. Oops
Did this guy do any research for this video? Their content roadmap has been discussed in Dev interviews, they’re going to be doing seasonal content every three months with patches in between. They already working on clans at fans request. And the monetisation is basically Warframe . Cosmetics and pay to skip. .
There is an option to pay and get it instantly if you cant wait. What else type of system would you want for a free to play game that is better? I come from Warframe and it takes maybe a week to get your warframe finished and im counting in the grind for it as well as the waiting time til it finished and Im totally fine with that because once I got all the stuff to craft it then while I wait for it to finish I grind for my next frame or weapons or do quests etc. Nothing is telling you to actually wait days until what you crafted is done, you still play the game and get other stuff running for crafting in the meantime. Its an amazing system since you can get everything for free and if you understand the system you will have stuff in creation process constantly so you always get new stuff to play with every day or every week.
Guys your paying for loads, you have to buy paint just to chnage colour and you can use once, paint is 10 dollars, a skin is 20 dollars, and yes there's pay for weapons. But atleast there no pvp so who cares if there's p2w op weapons

The ai looks really dumb @2:42 the boss did nothing at all and the player took out so much of its hp... @7:05 looks lost... the ai cant be so dumb in modern games we have come a long way to overcome this
This game crashed my PS5. When I clicked on Play(it went to a black screen...not only that....but this game also prevented me from getting any video at all...not even my menu screen! WTF!?? The only thing I received from this game, was audio from the main title screen and that was it.) I had to power down my PS5 via my controller, just to be able to back out of the game and get any video at all back, from my PS5. At the moment...I am also downloading it to my PS4, in an effort to trouble-shoot the problem. Initially...I thought that perhaps, the server was overwhelmed...but that wouldn't explain this horse-sh*t.

like another p2w looter shooter, had hopes for this until i watched gameplay.. imo a good fps rpg would have been a better route. solid story/ campaign with multiplayer. All these major companies want that microtransaction (getting to be more of macro transaction now days with battle passes for a year costing more than the collector editions of the games) money.
I dont think First Decendant will have the legs, i think its doomed to a short life. Too many games are coming out broken and half finished but after a year of updates are pretty decent.

There are no events in the first descendants. I’ve been unless this game changed drastically, since the last beta, it’s a hollow shell and it really doesn’t have much at all in common with destiny two the free to play version of Destiny two starts out with more content than this game will ever see war more content in war frame in the first year than this game will ever see and well I haven’t downloaded. I just saw that about free to play games for this month and PlayStation includes borderlands three which I have never purchased, but I will probably be playing that instead of the first because it’s just going to be disappointing when compared with destiny frame or any other shooter

If they did their battle passes the way 343 did where there is no time line and you could switch them up whenever you wanted then go back I wouldn't mind but I agree time gated battle passes are a rip off.

I can name handful of games that are B2P and have cash shops and paid DLCs. They have to make money some how, I understand if you can't afford it though. Look at your main game now, tell me there is no shop or DLC you paid nearly full price for.
Learn plz. Majority of customization and upgrading is taken from Warframe, so as shooting and skills push, and frames, khem, descendants themselves. Some of the level design is matching Destiny 2.

I like the combat but I had issues knowing where to go ,or feeling like not knowing if I did a mission already or not it was Hella confusing

I was just thinking that too. MAYBE similar when the mods and armor sets had elemental affixes, but definitely more warframe.

Korean games struggle with philosophy, direction and attitude. Not to mention monetisation for the f2p ones. So i wouldn't get my hopes up.
I personally think this one will go the way of Anthem and I prefer it (Anthem) over what I played in the tests.

I did my pre-download this morning at 4 AM. The server is definitely we’re not packed because I downloaded all 40 gigs in less than five minutes.

Customizing your character would have nothing to do with selling skins, they have to make money some how it's F2P, what you on about.

Learn plz. Majority of customization and upgrading is taken from Warframe, so as shooting and skills push, and frames, khem, descendants themselves. Some of the level design is matching Destiny 2.
The concept of Primes and the Prime naming scheme too...
