Excellent video Scott. I have one of those hitches that I use to pull my aluminum equipment trailer loaded up with my Jeep TJ behind my F350 loaded with my AF990 TC. I really like this hitch. I have several thousand miles on mine with no issues.
Scott, you are the best at these presentations. It's a very boring subject but you make it interesting. That company will get its money's worth. I'm selling my class C and will be getting something like a Casita type. I will be getting one of these hitches for sure.
Very helpful video. Thanks. I do have a question: So, while you are driving and hit those humps and the scale goes up does that means that I better leave some wiggle room for that additional weight increase ? Or that doesn’t matter ? Thanks
Now that you no longer have a camper to haul, do you wish you had your old truck bed? Also, I originally began watching your channel for your traveling and camper truck but most importantly because you both are genuine you tubers that don’t clickbate or act fake. You two are the real deal! Even though I don’t have a truck or trailer but find your instructional content interesting. Is Sasha going to be in anymore future videos or will your vlogs be like they have been recently? I’ll still watch. 😎 👍🏻
Thanks for the nice words. We are in the middle of a transition. We have big plans for the future. Some travel, probably back on the road part time. But it will be in a 5th wheel. Sasha will make some appearances, but she’s working full time and I’m mostly doing TH-cam. So she will be sporadic. I try to include her when it makes sense.
Nice video as always. While tongue weight is great, without knowing the total weight of the trailer and load it’s kind of useless short of the “best guess” option.
I like how easy it is to change the ball. On mine, it's always a pain to get it off. A lot of torque. If I didn't have a cordless Dewalt Impact, I'd have to use a cheater bar to get it off.
This is a handy guide that will walk you through the measurements needed to find the right shank size and drop. www.weigh-safe.com/towing-safety/figure-what-size-of-weigh-safe-trailer-hitch-you-need/

That’s good to hear. I’m quite happy with it, works well, looks nice and I’m using the scale more than I expected.

What was your opinion of the surge brakes on the U-Haul trailer? I was impressed on how well they worked.
They worked very well, I’m sure they have them dialed in considering the amount of use the trailers get.
Coupon doesn't work to purchase the Weigh Safe Aero Hitch

Can I ask how you decided on a 10 inch drop vs say their 8 inch drop what measurement did you do for that decision?

It’s to bad that truck campers don’t have that fast of jack with the presets.
Lock accessory kit will fail in the north east every winter, I’ve been through three scales working on my fourth
I like the scale but the movement/play the ball has setting in the pocket is really concerning and don't like that part.
And get Sasha on the chains also.
Your discount code no longer works:(
Try Stonyboot10
You could have backed it on.
Sasha should do the driving you chauvinist. 😂
1,000 miles, thats 2 weeks or less of work!
