Scott, you mentioned the desire to get a table saw and compound miter saw. Obviously you have serious space constraints. While not a compound miter saw, a Shopsmith system might be worth considering. There are tons of accessory tools that it powers and can be modified to store in very minimal space. The basic unit is a table saw, drill press, horizontal boring machine, lathe and disc sander. There are a multitude of Special Purpose Tools that it will power: 6" belt sander, band saw, jig saw, miter saw, jointer, planer and much more. Used ones are often very reasonably priced and the base could be easily modified to work in your space. I actually have a compound miter saw mounted on my Shopsmith.
Thanks for the tip. A friend of mine just told me the same thing. I’ve looked into them a little and they seem like a Swiss Army knife of shop tools. Pretty cool!
Thanks. I’ll do some more of these type of videos. I have about 10 in the pipeline, but sometimes I don’t have enough time to complete them and have to do something simple.
Hey getting to drive your shop to the store and install your purchases is pretty nice Scott. Hope you have both had some time off to rest and recoup from all your work and projects. I watched the Part 1 KingStar video today and could really relate to the long drive. We just drove about 4700 miles in two weeks. By the end rough roads were really getting to me. It's good to be home for awhile but the weather has been cloudy and wet in Michigan and I'm really missing the blue sky, sunshine and less humid weather of the south. It's great to hear that you are (tired but) happy. Sasha, hope your new job continues to get better.
Scott, this is absolutely an amazing video. Great job on the editing content. Everything just all the way around perfect video and don’t sell that truck man that thing is beautiful and you gonna always need it.
Thanks for the kind words. I’ll be keeping the truck for now, future plans are uncertain and it’s setup to handle anything. Plus, it’s almost paid off.
Sasha looks so pleased! Very happy for her. Scott....that is quite the work trailer! Will you be doing solar/Li systems in travel trailers? There is such a need for qualified installers..........you would be a huge success!
She is! She’s having a good time and learning a lot. She’s also excited to have her own car again. That is one of the directions I’m going. I love the work and there is a strong demand. Thanks for your support!
Sasha maybe once you get experience you can be a travel assistant/hygienist. I am not sure what your title is but just an option. It allows you both to travel and have jobs. Just a thought.
Sasha my wife has a 2022 and she loves it. I have my 3rd Subaru Outback. When I get the RV sold I’m going to buy a new Outback or maybe a F150 so when I’m healed I’d like to get an Escape type trailer to travel with. Stay tuned folks. If you know of someone that’s looking for a nice Class C mine only has 18,400 miles on it.
Scott remember I sold my Cirus and F350 which sold almost immediately after I listed it. So in June I bought a Class C Four Winds Chateau and talking about heat my phone a Samsung S22 kept overheating when I was making a video to help sell it. I would get to about two minutes it would quit. So I had to put it into the vent to cool it down enough to finish the video. It’s on RV Trader now all 5 minutes of it. Look at it and let me know what you think about it. First off I did it without help and shot without editing. I’m not even close to your skills. I was Navy Photographer but video is not my wheel house. My still shots are award winning and I have won quite a few of them over the years.Anyway the heat is a killer and I had to do my solar in the very early morning hrs. Lastly I’m selling the RV because of a health issue which will set me back for at least a year. When you get time look at my adds. I’m on Market Place and RV Trader. Video is on TH-cam as well.
Send me a link to your post, I can’t find it. And, good luck with your health. I’m going through my own healthy journey right now and it always reminds me of what is important. Get well soon!
Scott, you do everything with passion and that's a good thing.💯 Shasha congratulations on your new job,👍 May Allah make you both successful in your work. love you both
You are correct. For the past couple of years, the spring floods followed by the extreme drought, makes the rivers dry. So people are able to go foot print hunting. Lots of stuff was discovered last year and it’s continuing this year. Pretty cool stuff!
Hey there! Yes, we are feeling itchy after being stationary for awhile after 3.5 years of full time travel 😅 Also, when you mentioned "being a counselor," could you please clarify what you meant? I've been working with ESL students, in addition to my job, but I’ve never been a counselor.
Need to change channel from Stonyboot to Workboot, get a house and mortgage start family, have kids and start recording daily family life as other travelers that run out of funds and start new chapter in their life
Well, that’s kind of the plan. But with a twist. We are still workin on the twist part though. Just takes some time to figure things out and make the transition.
Great to see Sasha enjoying her new job.
Milwaukee 👍🏼 your work trailer is looking great.
Thanks, It’s coming along.
Good to see you guys
Thank you 😊
Sasha has a very nice smile and her calm demeanor is great for dental job
I agree completely, it’s been a good fit for her so far.

Great Video
I like the format of this one!
Best of luck, can't wait to see what's next!

You do videos like this, I will stay and watch your videos. Very interesting. Hope you do get out and travel some though!
Thanks. That’s a great idea. We live next to the state park but never go. Maybe I’ll go make a video of the foot prints! Thanks.

That’s one of the hopes in the future. Gotta start somewhere, but we both like the idea that comes with that flexibility.
It was great meeting you both this past weekend. Congrats on the new job!
Likewise, thanks for saying hello. Sasha told me that you found her too. Come back any time!

Good luck on the sale of your camper. And agreed, the CRv and Outback are great SUVs!

Scott, my RV is listed on RV Trader as a 2008 Class C Four Winds Chateau. I think that's what you were asking me about.
In the mid southwest going in and out from AC to extreme heat can give u a cold
We’ve been doing a lot of that lately!
It’s great to see you guys settling in and being happy about doing it!
Thank you! We’re excited about settling down, but we still want to go in trips here and there.
Scott, you do everything with passion and that's a good thing.💯
Shasha congratulations on your new job,👍
May Allah make you both successful in your work.
love you both
Thank you from both of us.
I think I missed it but didn’t see your NuCamp so I assume you sold it?
Yes, it sold in the spring.
I saw on the news they just found new dinosaur tracks in the park, is that true?

I hope this song sticks as the title card song lol
Haha, I thought it was funny and worked well for it’s purposes!
Sunglasses dude 😎
Your getting itchy, but started a full time job? What happened to being a counselor? Good to see you guys again!
