    Nasi Kandar is one of my favorite foods since moving to Penang. Malaysians are awesome people. Very friendly people.

      @@Zerofuckhasbeengiven no. Never tried deens yet. I'll have to check them out. A few local friends recommended Nasi Kandar Jaffar IN Tanjung Bungah. Love the food there. I like Hameediyah also. After MCO ill try deens.

    Nasi Kandar in Penang is a must-try. Rice with a delicious combination of sauces/curries with a choice of meat/fish/vegetables. Spicy or less spicy - a definite treat. Thank you for the video.

    That looks so delicious. Wish I was there. Them street foods are so adventurous. Forget the holiday, I would be eating 24/7 If I was there .. The guy you was eating with and speaking to was very friendly which is what you want when you are so far from home. Great stuff Dale.

    Dale, I’m a Penangite and I never been inside Fort Cornwallis 😂. And fyi, there’s a lot of yummy nasi kandar restaurant other than Line Clear. PS: thanks for your awesome videos. I used it as reference during my trip to Sri Lanka last March!

    Nasi Kandar - I noticed they spoke tamil...they either originated from Tamilnadu, India or Srilankan Tamil..

      Penang Indian are mostly originated from Tamilnadu or Kerala.

    Nasi kandar pelita in KL seems to have more variety, not just indian and srilankan, they have seafood, scrumptious dark honey chicken, and mango ABC ice, my favorite.

    I miss the street food the most, from living in south east asia or probably in any developing country. Nothing like enjoying a nice meal with a cold drink amongst the chaotic energy of the city. It's the small things.

    Hey dale, I will be transiting in Malaysia soon for about 12 hours. I want to go eat some street food and enjoy the local cuisine. However I also want to stay near the airport to be safe. I’ve been looking into the putrajaya area and can’t seem to find any good local spots. What areas do you recommend that’s like a 30 to 40 min drive from the airport. Thanks

    Hey Dale im from Penang and if you ever want to come to Penang you have to try Penang Asam Laksa with otak udang , Char Kuaw Teow and the most famous nasi kandar isn't line clear but its Nasi kandar Deens maju open from 1200-2100 (you have to line up a long line and one day I was standing there about 1 hour just to get the delecious nasi kandar with sotong goreng and ayam goreng ) hope you read my coment 😁

    They mix the sauces, because they taste more or less the same and works well together. The only difference is the ‘kicap’ which is salty and red sauce ‘ayam masak merah’ which taste sweet.

    You are aware you devastated down a whole large plate of nasi kandar and you're not from a land that is used to hot and spicy chillis? Well done. At least you can sleep after that. I never take this meal during a working lunch because within an hour the food coma hits.

Thailand and Vietnam also major tourist destination but i am sure you will have language barrer in those country like you did in toba north sumatra.

    Btw, Line Clear was closed for 2 to 3 weeks due to hygiene issues. And after that, the owners were fighting over control of the company or something like that....
