We south indians dont use basmati rice except for biryani and fried rice.we use par boiled rice or raw rice. And we start our course with a sweet rather have the dessert at the end of the meal.
Even as a local, I sometimes get confused with the dining formalities if I’m new to the restaurant. But at least you know these are catered for locals who know their way around.

Dale I really like your videos , I wish I was your tour guide,ppl r not giving you accurate information, Rasam is supposed to be mixed with white rice, and buttermilk is something you drink at last after you finish your meal which is good for digestion.
