As an Irish-American (McCabe)who has seen the old country a few times, when I heard my Irish great-Aunt sing this I cried. You two sing this beautifully, it gives me great pride to be Irish, and even more pride knowing that the younger Irish generations in Ireland as well as here in the states are keeping our poetic language and beautiful songs alive. Today is the anniversary of my dear granmothers passing she was from ireland and the last time she spoke just before she died she sang this to me almost in a whisper in Gaelic to me
