Most of these Ferraris are lower priced because the maintenance and upkeep are super expensive. it's not unheard of to have a 10 to 20K bill on a 355 every 3 to 5 years regardless of mileage driven, even if it sits looking pretty. Also, the quoted prices in the video seem very low for a decent example. I love Ideal, but I think you needed to click further into the details on the examples. If I could find a decent Testarossa for under 150K I'd jump to buy it, not the 72K as stated in the video.
You're exactly right there's nothing but a money dump and after you get done spending all that money what do you have you still have nothing because 304 100 horsepower is absolute c*** people are so stupid they're paying all this money for no performance whathowever my Chevy station wagon can beat any Ferrari on the road does that make any sense to you for the 500 grand or 6 or 700000 you paid for an Italian piece of turd.. I just hate to see people get ripped off..
If your handy with the tools it's super easy to fix the 355, the reason it's 20k at a dealer service is cos they drop out the engine for the major service.
@@seanbailey8545 it’s not just the dealer who drops the engine on a major for a 355. Most independents do also so they can do additional preventative and while you are there maintenance. It’s the while you are there stuff that really adds up on these cars.
You forgot to mention that the California was the last Ferrari to come with a manual transmission. Over it's 7 year production run, 2 examples were produced with a stick shift. They are valued at about 3 times what an auto Cali costs.
