I bought the M mirror caps - not because I want it to look like an M car, but I simply like the aggressive look more. Same goes for the OLED tail lights - it's not to look like an M4 Comp - they look WAY better than the pre-LCI lights.
Quit that mentality and keep it real, lookalikes are so boring they make you a wannabe, take pride in what you can afford and gradually migrate in reality and integrity

bruh that hood could have been an easy fitment fix. I put 2 washers under the front bumper screws directly under the front of the hood. brought up left and right and just by physics the centre of the bumper went down. matched flawlessly.

about the bumper to hood fitment. I would try to shim the bumper on the exterior bolt with some washers in between to rise the bumper up on that corner
I did that on both ends already. You can only shim so high, there is a clip on your headlights that hold the bumper down, take a look at your bumper/headlight area and you’ll see what I mean
@@ThicWhips I also found a video on youtube where it shows that you can pull the whole front bumper up or down with some hiden adjustment bolts. Search for "BMW F30 Front Bumper Replacement | 328i 3 series" on youtube starting at 6:30

Maybe it's because I've owned my nearly stock 1968 Dodge Charger R/T for 45 years but I've always loved and stood by OEM. In my humble opinion, the manufacturers have done their absolute best to balance appearance, performance, durability, cost, and maintenance, and why mess with it.
I'm not a pure stock guy though, I definitely appreciate the subtly of just the right accent and performance pieces on a car, just enough to make it yours.
I love my Glacier Silver 428xi convertible and it doesn't bother me in the least that it's not an M car. Of course I love and respect what the M car represents but there's room for both in this world. Who knows, maybe you started an OEM revolution.

Nobody ever thinks it's a M car but are they trying to make up for the fact that it isn't? Yup lol. (Former m-sport owner who now has a f80)
I just liked the way it looked but some peoople put too much focus on what others think
For me, I only got the F36 because the F80/F82 platform doesnt support a gran coupe model and I'm not a fan of the S55 in general. other than that i dont view my msport as an M but its always fun to joke about it when others try to look like an M

Got attention to detail like me lol, did same stuff to my f80 plus ceramic/ ppf/ paint corrected. I thought the rear gets less hydrophobic due to all the debris and dirt that gets on the back as well as the brake dust and tire dust. I noticed hitting it with a iron remover def helps bring the hydrophobic properties back.

I bought the m mirror caps in carbon print because the two series had some serious whistling noise above 150. They remedied this problem, so I then bought carbon m mirror caps.

Really digging you going with the OEM look. Have you considered using CarPro DLUX as a high temp ceramic for the rear? You can apply that stuff to calipers and wheels. Just seems like a pain to have to reapply ceramic every few months. Cars looking great man! Loving the content!

Yeah, dealerships, and high end owners can be douches sometimes.... They all laughes at me at my florida dealership when I took my 228i in for new rotors... as it's all kitted up. Told them to test drive it... They stopped laughing. It outperforms my stock M2... and it only has the 4 FBO's and a s2 tune. But its a rocket..
I feel like the F30s don’t need to be M cars to be crazy fun and great cars overall, they’re their own thing and I like that even the not as valuable bmws have good specs

Not an issue
I live in SoCal and just recently replaced my gloss black roof wrap. I would say 2-3 years is the general lifespan before it doesn’t look too good anymore, depending on how well u care for it. If u ceramic coat it, you’ll add more a little more life to it.

I bet you could manipulate the front bumper to fit to the hood. I’ve been experimenting for awhile with my e92 bumper gap. Loosened every bolt held it where I wanted, then tightened. Good luck, nice channel🤙
If your gonna spend a ton of 💰 for aftermarket parts that guarantees perfect fitment, then nobody should have to manipulate anything

If you are selling your hood let me know, I have an alpine white and been looking for a gts hood for a while.
Pro tip for the hood alignment
- completely remove the bumper
-on the front rad support loosen the latch points pull up as high possible .25 turn when snugging up so they are loose enough to close the hood and you pull or push where needed
- slap the bumper on do not bolt up check alignment
- rinse and repeat until fitted spot on
- have a beer 🍺

Gotta be honest here, that’s a really weird take considering BMW itself put literal M badges on our M Sport package steering wheel and door sills… no to mention you’re making way more power and have suspension bits and what nots

What you need to do is return the hood or have them give you a replacement... chances are it is a defect from the manufacturer

Bro there’s a guy on TH-cam who 3d printed spacers/washers for better hood fitment on the front.
Ive never been a big fan of carbon fiber. Looks kind of like cheap rice imo. I also have the b/w paint scheme but painted the spoiler to match the A96 white. I also like the oem look not like a bunch of stuff was bought online and just stuck onto the car. Enjoy your channel bro. Keep it up!
Carbon fiber, genuine cf, is not cheap. It's very strong and lightweight. Looks are subjective :)

There’s a whole movement on Reddit where drivers of real M cars want M340i, M550i and M760i owners to remove their M badges. The “real” M owners feel like it’s an insult for these cars to have the M badging.
I completely agree with that but at the same time BMW put them badges on, why ask someone to remove it if BMW decided it should go on the car?
They call the trend “Debadging”
