This is a journey that calls to the daring, to those who seek out the road less traveled and the experiences that come with it.
For some, the call of adventure is too great to ignore. It dwells within them, a burning
desire to see what lies beyond the horizon, to discover the unknown and push the boundaries of what is possible.
It is the heart of curiosity, beating strong and true, urging us to step out of our comfort zones and into the wild unknown.
The wind in your face, the hum of the engine, the freedom of the open road.
This is where the adventure truly begins.
The journey is often difficult, filled with challenges and obstacles.
But it is in facing these challenges that we truly test ourselves, and emerge stronger and wiser for the experience.
For some, adventure motorcycle riding is about the destination. The stunning vistas, the awe-inspiring landscapes, the feeling of being one with nature.
For others, it's about the challenge, driven by a thirst for adventure and a love of the outdoors, pushing themselves to new heights and testing the limits of both rider and machine.
And for still others, it's about the people. The connections we make along the way, the cultures and communities we encounter, and the stories we share with one another.
In the end, adventure motorcycle riding is about the journey. The memories we make, the experiences we have, and the person we become.

What. What have you done. Perfect audio levels that don't over power the bike sounds. The surreal vision of the 170 kilo war pig alternately flowing through bends, then dancing over hard obstacles. Masterful choice of music tracks. Beautiful scenery. Not a single spoken word to disrupt the spell of no-mind. Not only is this among the best riding videos I've ever watched, it blurs the boundaries of what a motorcycle video can be.

Love it - the most comprehensive demonstration of the maxim "it's the rider, not the bike".
Spent a summer (at 55yrs old) realizing what has been missing from 35+ years of riding road bikes. Yeah the track days were fun but I learned more in the last 2 years on a DR than I did in the last 20 on a road bike. If I had to chose just one bike now it would be the DR.

Awesome Skids. Watching you flow with that DR makes me want to sell my super high maintenance and expensive kawasaki dirt bike and get a trail bike/dualsport and rip it without having to worry about anything. Maybe one day I'll have the gonads to do it

One of the reasons I got a DR is the adventure capability and it's ability to take a lick'n and keep on tick'n. Your videos affirm that. I doubt I'll come close to working it that hard anytime soon, but it's nice to know you can.

@@SKIDSnSTUFF ya, my clutch lightly chatters like a Ducati dry clutch during cold starts. It also takes it a few minutes for the idle to raise to normal on mine on cold mornings. 40f degrees most mornings.
Any recommendations for clutch upgrade when the time comes?

Thought the same thing about trials. The video left me disappointed - its not the bike, its the rider, and I am deficient in skills.

Being an obviously extremely competent rider,
how much of that do you think you could do on a larger bike?
It really depends on bike setup and suspension. Gonna Max out pretty quickly on something like big Bertha without a good chassis. Pushing it with the Warpig
DR is in the basement waiting for spring, so in my mind's eye I will put you to shame. Reality...I will be picking up the bike after every obstacle (assuming I could pick myself up).
I feel for those who live where the weather isnt conducive to year round riding
