This is the last panel where they are allowed to get away with just 1 announcement, going forward we simply have to have higher standards with how close we are getting to Avatar Studios.
What will happen if they don’t have any avatar studios announcements/news at the next panel in 2025? It doesn’t seem like they’re going to market anything until very close to release
@@yannickchance In this case because we technically have no official title for the Aang movie they will have to actually properly announce it at some point, they will have to say that they are making x specific series and some of that will have to be soon-ish. Yes I do expect especially with the movie that we won't see a lot of it until closer to release, but we are so early that we still need pretty much a basic reveal. The other angle is that Avatar Studios are working on multiple things at some stage we expect them to talk about the bigger plan, maybe they will treat it project by project, but we also need them to announce something so that the publishers can openly promote their stuff, merch can be revealed etc.
I don't think there will be much announced from this with the exception of the next comic and novel. I really don't think they will talk about Beasts of the Four Nation unless asked because it was been nearly two years knowing the poor communication.
I'm not very convinced that we'll be getting any big news about official Avatar Studios animated content so i am going in cautiously optimistic but i agree that they will have to announce and market stuff properly at some point and not weeks before it releases. And if it was to release late 2024 or early 2025 then 1 year in advance would be a good time window to announce and bring it to the fans attention.

Yeah, still going into this one expecting very little. Always would love more, but we’ll see. As you say, though, I think next year’s comic cons need to start delivering. We’re getting close to a year from the movie, so they need to start hyping it sooner rather than later.
