Any scene with Bucky just being full on Winter Soldier levels of super soldier is good for me - but also, him pulling his arms out of the dish washer is still comical enough to remind us he's kinda funny a lot of the time. Also, David Harbour as Red Guardian? Sign me up for every time he appears - he's excellent as that character.

Scarlett has said she envisions herself as a Disney exec one day. That's why she ended up making amends with them even after the legal issue. She's in it for the long haul so definitely expect her to be producing and directing for a long time.

Their whole tiff to begin was basically just a massive mess of unpredictable circumstance. When they made her contract to have her pay be a portion of box office, no one thought that a pandemic would shut the world down and make the stream releases be almost required.

Yelena's mission in the trailer with the building getting exploded takes place in Malaysia, specifically Medan Pasar in Kuala Lumpur. If you find that place on google street view you can almost see the spot where she is standing. The exploded building is the Menara Pacific Place (formerly called Menara HSBC).
As much as I want the winter soldier solo movie but it's not needed Bucky Barnes story was concluded in The falcon and the winter soldier TV show He's no longer secretly controlled by Hydra because the secret passcode they use to control him no longer works on him according to what I heard the winter soldier is acting on his own in this film thunderbolts

I hope they have a good explanation/transition for Bucky, from smiling into the golden sunset at the end of FATWS to walking around in congress hearings and winter soldiering. Otherwise that development of his character would be a bit jarring. Also I need a scene where Sam makes fun of Bucky for looking like he joined a biker gang.
I mean it's entirely possible they could do that and it would be pretty disappointing, but considering how little we saw and how purposefully cut this trailer is at many points, I think there's a bit of trickery at play here. I mean Bucky isn't even driving the same motorcycle in the two shots of him at the end where the car gets shot. Really hope they don't revert him!
This trailer looks awesome! I can now understand why Marvel waited until it was cleaned up to release it, the color saturation matches the characters perfectly. Thank you Charlie!
Someone has probably mentioned this already, but Taskmaster seems to leave the group between scenes. Like, she's standing with everyone one moment, then gone the next. She also doesn't appear in the elevator with them. So maybe she's an actual antagonist to the team until they confront Val at the end.
She probably dies when they meet Sentry and they just added her in post for the team shot at the end. Ghost has her weapons in several scenes. It doesn't bode well for Toni.
That's not Taskmaster. Not even close. What Disney did to that character (and why) is the one thing keeping me from embracing this film whole-heartedly.

I'm honestly kinda worried that other people will complain about Bucky "reverting" since he seems to have been healed after FATWS. Because some people don't have any sense of realism when it comes to mental recovery relapses when you spend time with the wrong people that can bring out those old habits
Out of everyone in the movie, I’m most excited to see Bucky. He’s one of my favorite characters in Marvel. Poor guy was tortured for so long slave. Now he has his freedom. Looking forward to seeing what he has been doing since falcon Winter soldier series.
The amount of Bucky in this trailer makes my Bucky fangirl heart happy. 😅 However, I do not want them to ignore the better part of a decade's worth of character development and regress him back to a villain.

He has the assassin training like a black widow, a super soldier serum almost as powerful as Steve Rodgers, and has been on countless stealth opp missions. It makes sense why Captain America, Falcon, Black Panther, Natasha and Iron Man couldn't stop him during his breakout scene in Civil War. Bucky is an absolute *MONSTER* lol

Bucky with the winter soldier mask again gave me chills. And stopping a tank dead in its tracks and yanking it over , did he get a power up? I'm happy bucky is in this movie but I'm pretty sure Sam Wilson would keep bucky close after falcon and winter soldier.
This trailer got me hyped. No multiverse crap seems to be going on, just a solid, interesting, flawed group of characters coming together to do.. well.. something. The costumes are on point as well. Ghost is honestly probably my favorite redesign there. The movie seems just a tad darker and based on this trailer, the humor lands better than other MCU films. I hope we're truly entering a new age of Marvel, where stakes feel higher, comedy isn't at the top of the priority list, and the stories are compelling.
The “Battle of New York” banners might be there so they can do the Sentry twist from the comics where he was an Avenger from the start but everyone forgot because Bob thought if he didn’t remember Sentry, then the Void couldn’t take over. Once Bob remembers, the world changes and the banners reveal Sentry was there the whole time

I'm glad he's doing his own thing. Like was he following Val??? Is she the last page of the notebook. That he ripped out one last name. MADAME HYDRA. He's front and center against her! Ahhh this is gonna be so good. BOBBO!!!
Heres my theory. Val has them come to the Avengers Tower. Sets off the Sentry. Then the city watches as the Avengers team up to take him down. I think the movie ends with everyone alive and the city seeing the new Avengers as heroes of the city. Sentry is taken into stasis for now. And Val has her own Avenger's team. Her own Dark Avengers. Now there's some elements storywise that would have to go down for this to happen. But the idea that she brought them together and had them bring the Sentry to her to have the city think their is a new group of heroes out there. Could be done pretty good.
It's nice to see they got Bucky back to looking close to his former Winter Soldier self... Long hair, cool shades, motorbike, same grenade launcher he used as the Winter Soldier, etc... Can't wait ❤❤

This trailer was really cool and I love the fight scene too especially with US Agent, Yelena, and Ghost pointing their guns at Bob(Sentry) especially for a lil comedy it was really funny so I can’t wait to see all the characters enter acting with each other and I can’t wait to see Bucky go off the final shot of the trailer was fkin a amazing💯 I can’t wait for this film it looks great! Another great breakdown! Thanks charlie! Something makes me think that Val and president Ross are at odds with each other and putting together their own teams to try to take each other out. It'll be interesting to see how well they do or don't work with the more straight-laced team that Sam is putting together.

The “Battle of New York” banners might be there so they can do the Sentry twist from the comics where he was an Avenger from the start but everyone forgot because Bob thought if he didn’t remember Sentry, then the Void couldn’t take over. Once Bob remembers, the world changes and the banners reveal Sentry was there the whole time

This trailer looks great! Marvel might have a real win with this. Even if the numbers are just good, the film being dope AF matters a lot right now.
Heres my theory. Val has them come to the Avengers Tower. Sets off the Sentry. Then the city watches as the Avengers team up to take him down. I think the movie ends with everyone alive and the city seeing the new Avengers as heroes of the city. Sentry is taken into stasis for now. And Val has her own Avenger's team. Her own Dark Avengers. Now there's some elements storywise that would have to go down for this to happen. But the idea that she brought them together and had them bring the Sentry to her to have the city think their is a new group of heroes out there. Could be done pretty good.

This trailer was really cool and I love the fight scene too especially with US Agent, Yelena, and Ghost pointing their guns at Bob(Sentry) especially for a lil comedy it was really funny so I can’t wait to see all the characters enter acting with each other and I can’t wait to see Bucky go off the final shot of the trailer was fkin a amazing💯 I can’t wait for this film it looks great! Good luck to the soldiers against The Sentry😂 overall loved this trailer can’t wait for May 2025!

Something makes me think that Val and president Ross are at odds with each other and putting together their own teams to try to take each other out. It'll be interesting to see how well they do or don't work with the more straight-laced team that Sam is putting together.
