Season 2 will be interesting. Season 1 heavily used a sets built around a virtual production wall (which was first used in the first season of the Mandelorian) because they thought it would be better overall. The promoted it a lot because it was the first show that was going to use Pixomondo's new facility in Vancouver that was 28 feet high and had 23,000 square feet. Unfortunately this backfired and the virtual production cause a lot more problems with look for VFX artists than a normal greenscreen would. A lot of the scenes with the DoF felt extremely off (think lots of firenation Azula scenes) off or it just felt small (air temple) was the result and the issues they had. So apparently for season 2 they are going to step away from using the virtual production wall as much. Hopefully that improves the look.
I'm curious if the actress who will play Toph will either be blind or have problems with vision. They will probably also focus on filming date which is very clearly soon and production but I don't think they will entirely reveal everything yet to try keep people interested.
Big preview video for Journey of Aang coming on Thursday. I really like the game so I am eager to see what more people think of it.
Stoked for a new board game! I'm excited to see how they run the campaign and what surprises they might have. Looking forward to your video this week!
