Poppy is TOO cute 😢 Just a little heart to heart as I loved this video - You’re such a comfort blanket for me to watch 🥺 I have suffered with severe anxiety for over 10 years and I get very overwhelmed very quickly with everyday life and struggle to watch anything - but as soon as I put an old or new video of yours on, I’m immediately zoned out to your gorj little furry clan and it helps me relax. So thank you, even when I know you struggle to post - just know everything you have done helps silly people like me. Can’t wait for the next one 🥰🥰
I know both mares and geldings who are super clean, and others who totally trash their stalls. So I don't think it's specific to one or the other. Just depends on the individual. Separating turnout sounds like a fantastic plan for now. Gives them all time to work on getting used to the change and one another.

My days of riding and owning my beloved Arab are past gone,but the joy i get from following yr posts is just wonderful.Looking forward to seeing the puppy growing up very much as i had a yellow labrador back in 1973,truly the most obedient,loyal dog ive ever had.
Poppy has gotten bigger in just a week wow. Just a quick hack to keep the water in the tubs cool is to get a 2l bottle of water and freeze it then put it in when u needo change it just give the bottle a clean and refreeze it. I used to do that with my horses in the summer.
I was always a gelding person… hated mares until I got my girl now I get mares and I roll my eyes at geldings and loveeeee mares! They’re no nonsense not into cuddles but a quick kiss and told they’re gorgeous they’re so happy.
Silly grump Banksy, Louie is so sweet. Have you thought about sending Dinks away for a little pony holiday for a couple of weeks so that Banksy only has Louie for company and Dinks isn't there for him to feel possessive of? Just a thought 🤔

After yet another surgical absence for me It’s Jane from America and I am back again. I adore Louis, I’m sorry that beautiful Banksy is not happy at all with the new arrangement , he will eventually get used to everything. What a sweet and lovely new ponio for you, I was very very sorry to hear that Sir Banksy’s leg gave you such a problem, but am thrilled to hear that you are both back at work and going back into competing.

Please do a video on how you maintain your paddocks, I’m wanting to have horses on my own land one day but have no clue on what type of grazing they should have or how to maintain it. I think that would be an amazing video to do! love your Chanel so much!! Xx

I have mucked out mares who are super clean and currently have a gelding that does all his poos in a pile and wees next to it leaving the rest of the bed to lie in. My other gelding poos everywhere, mushes it about and uses it as a pillow.
I'm definitely a gelding person but when we had broodmares, there was one that was a Colorado Range Bred Appaloosa (just means she was literally wild until she was 2). She would always go potty in the corner of her stall and the field. What we would do with our geldings was just let them out together and let them work it out. I understand not wanting to do that with Banks and Louie because any injuries could be devastating to their show careers. Mares were the ones we had to keep separate
I am team mare however I have pretty constantly been trying to find a gelding. I rode geldings until I was 28 and loved them so it makes sense that I could enjoy a gelding again. It's just that mares have always been my one in a million horses.
I've had messy mares and geldings and neat mares and geldings.
You know you have a puppy when you are hyping them up to do a 💩 in the garden 😂😂 what a cutie she is ❤ & so lucky to have all these lovely animals 😊

My two boys are just like Banksy and Louie, my older boy still can’t stand my younger boy after almost 7 years and doesn’t understand why he is in his field, sharing his mummy and eating his hay! They are separate for that reason but they also have very different dietary requirements too. Both are very happy in themselves and sometimes enjoy winding each other up too! But one desperately wants to be friends and the other desperately wants me all to himself again!
The finger crossing looked more like a flipping one 😂. Great content as always.

My gelding is twice as messy as my 2 mares. They both have a pee/ poo corner. He pees in the middle and poops in a circle, then paws it all into any clean bedding left. Good thing he is cute.

Tried my first Yfood the other day (fresh berry) and it was LUSH❤ unfortunately can't afford to make a big order. I'd love it if they made "kid versions" in this British weather, I struggle to get my kid to drink enough, but she would drink the milkshake style ones very happily 😊

Also, be thankful they don't like each other because they won't scream for each other at shows. My two are half brothers and they hate each other 🤣....It bothered me until I realized they could care less about each other at horse shows too.
I was worried about how blue would be xx I wanted another gelding but went for a mare so he wouldn’t get jealous
Loved this! Im a mare person, but my geldings have been the cleanest… especially if they have a run off their stable, then they will walk outside, do their business, and come back in.

Banks is like my Teddy pulls grumpy faces at others horses plus he is the herd boss in our paddock which he lives in 24 7 all year round no stables for him and I like both mares and geldings
As I've said on Insta, nothing better than a female fox red Labrador - they're incredibly smart, and LOVE to learn! She'll be going out on hacks with you and Louie in no time at all!!! You'll have all three boys in the same field soon too, it just takes time, and patience, like everything else with horses! You're living the dream!! Can't wait to see your next adventure! Totally missed that sound of ponies eating since I've been literally house bound (Avascular Necrosis in four joints SUCKS), and totally agree with you, love the sound of them chomping on hay!! Fingers crossed I get a hip replacement soon, and can get back out, and have some pony fun!!

Its the best feeling when your pup finally falls into a routine.
My mares have always been cleaner in the barn than my geldings! Maybe I just got lucky!? However, I’m on my 12th horse now… A mare, she poops in one spot and Pees outside her stall in her dirt run.

Glad to see things are settling in… everyone seems content so that’s a huge Victory. Loved hearing Dinks enjoying his breakfast… Complements to the chef. Poppy is lovely and growing (fast😮). Laughed at you saying idk why I always start the kitties breakfast first… if you don’t they’ll stay underneath your feet until service is Rendered 😂. Have you tried trailering Banksy and Louie together yet? New location away from home MIGHT give attitude change about each other🤔 potentially you might be taking 2 horses to a competition if you so choose 🤞

I’m definitely camp mare.
Im lucky that my girl isn’t very mareish and not wet or messy in her stable. I have always had mares and love it when they ‘let you in’ as they can be more temperamental and sometimes difficult to bond with. (Just my opinion)
I think you have a wonderful bond with Banks and Dinks. I’m looking forward to seeing your relationship develop with Louie too. nd have a fantastic set up an beautiful animals to share your life with. Poppy is just gorgeous ❤
I have a mate and she’s very clean she only does like one or two poos in her stable,
But then when I let her out she goes straight away. I don’t know why she does that but both at clean
I’m with you Tina they are totally feel jealousy on some sort of level my show gelding hates my baby Horse. I’ve been in together for 12 months and he still wants to attack him every time I walk in the paddock.

love watching your videos regardless of the content as your very much like me I love competing and training but just spending time with my boys is what I love more, I have 2 Geldings and 1 is really wet and messy in the stable and the other is really tidy 🥰😍
My mare is by far the cleanest - my pony gelding LOOKS clean but his poop is buried all over the stable walked in and kicked about he’s a nightmare😂
I work in a racing yard and I can absolutely confirm that colts are by far the WORST to muck out 😂. Generally speaking geldings are messier than mares but I can only speak for tb’s. Absolutely think mares are cleaner than boys overall 😊
My gelding is as messy as my mare. I'm hoping you get the boys better and maybe out together soon.
Just a suggestion but it might be worth trying to feed Banksy after Louis? In a herd in the wild, the higher ranked horses would eat first, so getting fed first might be reinforcing that he's "superior" to Louis. It could help shift the dynamic in Banksy's head if Louis is fed before him... You might have tried already, but just in case not 😊
Definitely team gelding! I can say for me my gelding is the absolute worst in the stable!! I have around 4 barrows a day and that’s on a good day 🙈

I think that both mares and stallions are as bad as each other when it comes to mucking out stables but I have mucked out not too messy stables too

between mine- the geldings are better for the most part stable wise!
Geldings are definitely dirtier! My previous loan was a grey Arab gelding and he was filthy. He would go to the toilet in one spot and lay down right in the middle. He would box walk and drag all the muck everywhere which made mucking out such fun 😶 haha.
I now have a chestnut mare and she’s is the cleanest horse. She is a bit of princess so she won’t poop where she sleeps.
But I also think it depends on the bedding and how clean they are.
I’m definitely a mare person or a mare-ish gelding as I find them more fun. They always have a little more spark ⚡️
I have 2 mares as they are disgusting.Both bury their poo and one mixes her bed up loads. I'm curretly on easi bed for her but she shoves all the bedding back so its real hard to use it as intended as she mixes the wet in.

W are team Mare - but I would of been team Gelding if thats what came along as the horse that I wanted. I wasnt set on either to be fair. But they had to be a Shire or Clydesdale. I love a chunky monkey. I cant comment on the mare being cleaner than a gelding cos mine Poo's for England like her life depended on it just cos of her size Id say !!

geldings but mines a disgusting horse in the stable would happily muck out the whole yard besides my stable😩 gone through every type of bedding, 6 bales a week is a good week too😭
