I love them so much! When I heard Queen Uniek winnie and saw her dancing in place as Rising Star was coming in. I began to follow the herd after that. I pray every that Risey will be ok. I pray for you also Yvonne. I’m sure Risey’s lameness is painful to watch. I know I’m not the one who feels this way. ❤

When I see Risey at this age, I always think of a happy little boy who is so eager to go out and play, he forgot to put on one of his socks! He is an amazingly beautiful horse and getting more so. What a joy to watch them run together.
Risey anticipates which way Uniek will turn and she anticipates his moves as well. His flag was up--a happy horse. Risey changes gait effortlessly. Love to watch them playing together !

The title of this video is absolutely perfect as our Queen Uniek and her Prince Risy were made for each other in every way two souls whose hearts were broken by the pain of loss and finding their reason for being which was each other,gave them a 2nd chance at love and healing they were each exactly what the other needed(and yes my empathic self is turning into a teary eyed mess watching them together😭😭)Their love for each other knows no limits and it is beautiful a story that has touched countless lives which will go down into the history of Stal Goengamieden for years to come.🌟🌟💚💚🤗🤗

This is so fun to watch. Risey touches, leans on, and shadows his Mom. Neat way to talk to each other. I like the video where you are riding Uniek and Risey is running with in pasture. I hope having Uniek near him helps him not be afraid of why. Even bugs us when our bodies don't move as they used to. Uniek can at least tell him to trust Yvonne to help.
You can certainly see the power and athleticism that Risey has already even next to the powerful Unique. Very light on his feet and quick! You’d never know these two weren’t blood related based on their similar personalities.
So they move together like that because Rising Star has watched her growing up or because of breeding?
Absolutely. He's got 'jumper' genes, for sure. :-)
@@sheryldengler1772 I think it's a bit of both, considering RS comes from a dressage line and Uniek herself has been trained for dressage before, so he may have picked up on her mannerisms

Risey is absolutely one of the flashiest, most beautiful colts that I have ever seen. He's just gorgeous, his beautiful perfect little head and gorgeous neck, plus his gate is perfect, it's almost like he's got nothing underneath of him but air, I am just in love, every time I see him. It is such a blessing to be able to look at the beauty of a horse, they are definitely one of the best of God's creations and pardon me I didn't mean to leave Uniek out of my comment because she is just splendid, a tremendously good mother and she is so beautiful and smart, she is absolutely the whole ball of Wax. What is the average life time of a Friesian horse?
Yes, he's a lovely mover, and has very nice conformation. I think he'd do well in the States showing in the hunter / jumper classes.
@@JBorg-fb3un Horses generally live anywhere from 20-30 years, usually closer to 30. I had a couple of Arabians who lived until almost 30, and a quarter horse who lived until about 25. They seem to become a lot more prone to colic the older they get.

Fizz, I know little about horses, and so I experience surprise when I see that RS's gait is so different from Uniek's. I know they are completely different breeds, but somehow I expect them to move their legs in a more similar way. That Friesian 'cycling' trot is really very distinctive.

I have been watching this saga since it has begun with Uniek becoming his foster mom. They have been close from the first 15 minutes of meeting each other. These two will always have a special bond I think. Risey has so much potential to become something special. His color is so beautiful and he has so much pride when he walks or trots, it is so neat to see. You have beautiful horses Yvonne and they love you like you love them. Thank you for sharing.
I'm impressed with Rising Star's bloodlines......he is a good mover and has so much potential as a dressage horse. It will be great to watch him progress once he starts his training!

Uniek and Risey run in almost perfect unison. This took me back to when I was a young girl watching horses perform calculated tricks in a circus ring with a trainer calling out commands. Risey is so impressive as he stays right by his Mom and so light on his feet. I think he will be wonderful at what he was born to do - dressage. Uniek is always impressive. I wonder if the circumstances of how they met affected, in a positive manner, their relationship, with Risey always staying close to his Mom and her extra care? The way she let you know how she didn't think it was quiet time to wean him yet with the other foals. I just think animals know so much more than we realize.
They would laugh at our efforts to understand them...if only they could...If a horse could speak!!!

Queen Uniek is light on her feet. Risey, “dances”. He will be a power in dressage! Hard to believe this was in October when he was so young. Their synergy is amazing.😄
My background is with Thoroughbred racehorses, so I'm by no means knowledgeable about Friesians or Risey's breed. But in general, he is a stunning colt. Gorgeous. No horse is perfect, but I see no serious faults in his conformation. As he grows and becomes stronger, I think he will acquire more drive in his rear. And, of course, he will become broader. Young foals almost always seem a little narrow. His overall movement is great. Smooth, fluid, quick, easy lead changes, lovely overall carriage. You have a really, really nice colt there. He has a perfect head and neck. I especially like the graceful curve of the underside of his neck as it meets his jaw. This is very important for breathing in horses, and is one of the things buyers look for when inspecting Thoroughbred yearlings at sales. Again, I'm not familiar with conformation fine points in other breeds, but Thoroughbreds can bleed from the lungs under the stress of a race. So free flow of air is vital for them.

Anyone can see he is going to be really something special, given the correct training..and if everyone just stops spoiling him..😂. Very hard when one loves an animal and has helped raise him. He has been the Darling of Stal G...and the world...for a minute, but soon has to grow up and be counted!
I believe he will make both his Mama's proud...

@@lisajoyaslanis He's been the Darling of not only Stall G, Yvonne and Uniek, but our Darling !! I'm smiling ,loved it "The Darling".
My background is in Quarter Horses, and we look for similar "balance" in the head and neck, with a clean jaw and throatlatch area. Risey has outstanding natural conformation and from my QH background I can say his topline and balance is outstanding! He is what we called "coupled up good and close", meaning he has a good laid back shoulder that flows naturally into his middle and hip, and great symmetry without any weaknesses through the loins or underline. He very nearly has that famous quarter horse booty as well, which gives him a lot of power, thankfully he is extremely balanced and doesn't "run downhill" like they tend to :)

Seeing this in New Years Eve in Canada. Don't know how I missed this video originally. Heartbreaking to know with Wobblers he will probably never "float" in his stride again. But he is still a handsome and sweet boy. I hope he will be a good companion horse as a gelding and perhaps a nice easy horse to ride for fun on trails and basic hacking. Love you, Rising Star.❤

The tragedy that these two Amazing Beautiful horses went threw turn out to be the MOST AMAZING LOVE STORY ON TH-cam 💞💞🐎🐎Queen Uniek an Rising Star is a bond of Love an their story is Amazing (I don't think there was a dry eye anywhere)These two came together threw a miracle from up above an the love of people who wanted to heal 2 broken hearts.
