Great video Brotha. One peace of advice, champion plugs are for Ford. They will definitely work in your engine but mopar wants denso plugs or more higher end plugs.
It is also a good idea if you plan on owning the car for many years to spring for the more expensive plugs. The platinum or iridium plugs are more corrosion resistant and you'll get a crisper spark for a much longer time, like 5 to 6 times longer life. But standard copper plugs will give you like 10 to 20 thousand miles on average so if you dont mind getting your hands dirty you can save some money in the short run.
There is a reason why the factory recommends the 30,000 copper tops over the 100,000 mile types that will fit but not necessarily the best alternative.
a spark is a spark, if the plug fits and you have it gaped properly then your fine. what issue could possibly be caused by getting a plug that is exactly the same dimensions except for the small little metal points being an improved less corrosive material? and the reason the factory fits it with the cheapest working plug from the production floor should be obvious and i'm not going to get into the whole wacky maximizing profits thing companies do.
adam matyas 5.7s after 2014 used iridium spark plugs anything before 2014 used copper upgrading from copper to iridium in the 2014 and under models can give problems to the coil packs which are not meant for use with iridium plugs use what the owners Manuel recommends
The manual doesn't recommend REC14MCC4 ? The boxes say Platinum on them. That's what made me wonder. Manual recommends champion coppers. No biggie, i was just curious.
Oh damn I made this video years ago. I know I did some research and most people were using that. That's why I got it, I didn't have any issues with the car after so I dont think its a problem
why platinum? copper has better temperature conductance properties than platinum as the temperature goes up. as platinum gets hotter it's conductance decreases more than copper - so copper will conduct a better spark.
Never seen a better engine to work on every thing is there fuel injectors, coils and spark plugs, real shame about the generator and the starter location though
Great video thanks for sharing. I bought mine yesterday and it was last changed 5 years ago but the previous owner had only 5 or 6,000 miles since then, should i still change them?
Nah you should be fine, spark plugs are usually changed based on mileage not years. As long as it drives fine and doesn't misfire or anything I wouldn't worry about it
Thanks for the video bro. But I honestly feel like you’re mumbling. Please speak with confidence in your next video because you have great information. 💯🙂

Great video, thanks for posting this. About to change the plugs in my 300C.
Great video bro. Doing this tomorrow. Never changed the plugs in this car in 6 years
Damn you need to do it asap lol🤣

Us the recommeded spark plugs anything else will cause issues. Do your reasearch for this car.

@@Dan300 you're probably right. and the platinum last longer. that's why people use them. i just got a 2008 300c in great condition. enjoying it.
@@etyrnal yeah they last longer I think that why, nice, enjoy, i miss my 300😭
I’ve got a 2007 and it’s misfiring on 1. Which location is that? I’m not sure which diagram online to trust.
Cylinder 1 is in the front of the engine, front of the car, on the driver side

I used what was recommended in the manual

@@Dan300 Thanks, the car has only 72k miles on it and all is like new. No misfire and engine starts perfect.
@@donalic okay. You're good then, you should normally change them every 20k miles
Mine is a 2005 with plug wires. Not sure how many plugs it has. I was watching this to find that out.
Yours have 16 plugs also

Which is cylinder 4
How did you know you needed to replace them? Like what made you replace them?
It was more of a preventive maintenance, nothing was wrong, but usually if your car is misfiring chances are it's because of bad spark plugs
Oh ok, thanks
mine started stalling.
Are These spark plugs any good?
I'm still using them and never had any issues
Where’s cylinder 8
Passenger side. The one closest to the firewall
Put super fuel and dont change plug before 100 000km
Never start spark plugs with a wrench 🔧 always hand tighten then snug with the wrench SMH
HOW ABOUT GAPING YOUR PLUGS ? YA, THEY COME PREGAPED BUT THEY GET BANGED AROUND. RATHER BE SAFE THAN SORRY. ALWAYS GAP YOUR PLUGS.
Champion. Not Good plugs
Failed to say what size the socket he used to remove the spark plugs garbage
14mm & spark plug gap 0.045
& I went with NGK nickel spark plugs.
I noticed after a drive around town I needed to change. Better response on the pedal
