My box was worse that previous bike /Ebike deliveries. Luckily the packaging engineering was spot on and not issues with the E-vehicle. Point being -- The last mile driver did not cause the package damage and does not have the time or resources to remedy the situation in a timely fashion.
If you want to feel better when riding increase the height of the scooter by 1 (meaning 2nd position from the top for the adjustable riding height, not steering poles). It will change your ride sooooo much. Also buy surfboard foam grip tape, the rear footrest will have a better feeling.
I like how it rides and I felt like the handlebars are too high pushing the torso backwards so I lowered them and testing now but for speed and stability I feel like lower it is better and safer. Don't you think?
Unfortunately, because Inmotion decided to make two utterly STUPID decisions with the brakes, you can't easily upgrade the brakes. First, the motor cut connectors are 3-pin, not 2-pin like Magura uses (you can cut and splice and make it work) and then because both brakes are on the left side, you can't mount a Magura to the front because the cable comes out on the inside. Also, there's a huge issue with the quick connectors for the motors burning/melting. The front motor on mine died because the connector pins got torched and the plastic/rubber around the female connector melted. Inmotion is supposed to be sending two new motors and cables that AREN'T quick disconnect as their support said they've realized the connectors can't handle that much constant amperage and have released a new design. It's an incredible scooter for sure, but there have been a lot of teething issues with them. The original RS had GX12-3 charging ports, not the insulated JF12-3 that the new batches have, so they've made improvements along the way and I'm guessing the new motor cables will get incorporated into future batches.
So no quick disconnect for the motors? Something i did as soon i needed to change tires... making a quick disconnect (externally, not in the deck) which wasnt standard on my first gen Vsett10+.
@@W_1_3_7 Right, but the problem is front brakes on bicycles are mounted vertically so the Maguras won't mount properly on the front of the RS. Plus, the extra pin on the motor cut wire means even if you can manage to get them to mount, you have to deal with that too.
The controllers are both in the foot deck. Ones in the front and ones in the rear. They separate them to help keep the controllers cooler as well as add thermal paste. What's your pointing out at the top of the scooter between the handlebars is the computer module.
Love the scooter and I got the chance to try one but even with the sale they just had it was almost 4k I just can’t justify that price hopefully it the future I can grab one for 3k.

Your GPS is reading high, inaccurate, overly and deliberately exaggerated speed when in fact it's much slower. Most GPS apps read higher. Try using COOL NIKS instead. That will give you very close to real speed, similar to the Police laser gun. You can't even hit 50 mph. Your controller doesn't even draw current anywhere near what the marketing said it will draw. Yeah, you are the laughable one for being so ignorant, brainwashed by whatever the marketing tells you.
I'm 200lbs on the Nami Burn E 2 Max with PMTs and true speed is 60mph. I get 50mph in lower gears without turbo on and not going downhill either@@noobz5056

$4,000? Yeah, right! I'll stick to my Dualtron Ultra 2 for $4,000. I can tell you from having the Dualtron Ultra 2 for a little over three years, the only thing I've had to do is change the brake pads and swap out those ugly off-road tires. I also installed a steering damper, which is a must. In my opinion, the only thing the Inmotion RS has going for it is speed, but 62 mph is good enough for me. And yes, my Ultra 2 does a legitimate 62 mph. I even got it up to 63 mph on flat ground. I weigh 165 pounds. I just feel like the Inmotion looks super cheap. I don't like the handlebars, the stem, or the control arms, which look paper-thin. I wouldn't want to go off-road at all; it would probably break on me. So, would you rather have a Dualtron or an Inmotion RS for the same price? You can't beat the quality of Dualtron. All the Dualtron models are great, and they've made them even better with the thicker stem and improved folding mechanism. They really hit it out of the park with the EY4 display. It's Korean, not Chinese crap! But I digress!
You are small and light. You need to try RS...You see I tried both scooters and I will go with RS. It is actually my top option. I don't like dualtron brand.

I love the Inmotion RS but I just don't understand why they don't use dual stems all the way down like on the Kaabo Wolf King GTR! The true dual stems are so much more stable than those C-type front suspensions whether it has one or two forks the C-type suspension will still get the wobbles at high speed without a steering damper! The Inmotion RS was my favorite e-scooter until the Kaabo Wolf King GTR released with 12" tires and adjustable suspension in the front and rear and the new tubeless tires where the motors are removable from the rim so it's easy to change a tire like on split rims with tubed tires.
@@W_1_3_7 I was gonna buy a Segway GT1 for $1,500, but they use underpowered batteries in all their e-scooters! That's why my Max G2 only gets about 20 miles at top gear and it's the same with the GT1, it only gets 20 miles at top gear in real world driving plus it is a single motor engine! My Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus was $1,600 and has dual motors and goes 48mph even though they list it at 44mph while the GT1 goes 37mph and my Wolf Warrior gets 30+ miles in 5th gear in real world driving because it has a 60v battery! Plus the GT1 weighs 105 lb My Wolf Warrior weighs 79 lb I live in a city where I have to go up five or six steps to get in my house I don't have a garage! The GT one is nice and yes it does have great suspension but the battery sucks You can only go 10 miles and you got to turn around and for $1,500 It only has one motor where I got two

Half-twist throttle is what they also copied from Segway GT2 and this is the worse decision ever. I replaced it immediately on my GT2 with thumb throttle from P100S and now it’s perfect and not dangerous to use. Has several really bad situations when half-twist throttle was activated unintentionally and almost hit a child. Omg with thumb throttle I never had any kind of such situations for over 3 years and almost 30k km on scooters like Dualtron.
That's is a good point and concern but we are all different and have different preferences. I am pretty sure when ordering the company can accommodate or you can buy one and swap it which you did.
I cant justify spending close to 4k for this junk. Everywhere i look, there's the China quality. It might be one of the faster scooter but the build quality just isnt there. Sorry man. Segway GT2 has the best materials and build quality hands down. Not the fastest kid on the block but who needs a scooter that goes over 50mph? When you crash at 60, it'll be worst than a motorcycle accident.
This is the same quality as Segway, just different molds but same factories, making parts assembled in different locations. If you would say obarter or lower quality scooter, maybe, but here is not the case. I will choose RS over any Segway any day. It's not about speed but range here and acceleration is way higher than GT2.

Actually they going in a good direction, they did it as Segway did with GT/ST, brakes on all modern MTB are on the LEFT side for BOTH wheels.

Look at the angle the handlebars tilt towards you. That makes for a very uncomfortable riding position
