    Aren't some strategies which aren't good for some of the individuals still stable strategies for the group? Meaning the initial "rational agent" model attempting to model the supposed purely rational modelling of the other agent (recursively, etc.) is at least not in all cases happening according to the theory applied to groups (and we know things like 'kin selection' do exist, or religious strategies where self-sacrifice comes into play).
