The C2 will ALWAYS be the best looking Corvette, IMO.
The C1 would like a word with you sir
@@someguyyouknow6420 no car has a better looking front end than a C1 - but the frame is so stiff it’s like using a 2x12 for a skateboard ...
C2 is an historic design. I wish there had been a way to modernize it without losing the original elements
The Apollo IE is sort of modern version although quite extreme
Dats a great looking ride but my fave is the C3 from 68-72 👍👍
It's perfect! Color engine, wheels all of it!
Brings tears to my eyes
I admire anyone who restores and saves these beautiful cars.
Looks like you guys brought that one off life support Good job
Absolutely THE most gorgeous Corvette I have ever seen. Flawless.
Watching this video all I saw the entire time was $$$$$ I'm a original kinda of guy,, but you all did a hell of a job...
Stock original, YES ! ! !
You picked the right color , an absolutely beautiful restoration, thanks for posting. In my opinion it’s the best looking car ever made. ❗️🇺🇸
Thank you Ralph!
What an absolutely beautiful color! Wonderful work.
Resto Mod’s Rule! 😎
Nice work!
I wiSh I could have the keys 🔑 of that car under my Christmas tree 🎄, that would be the gift of life🙏🙏🙏
What an excellent and amazing car. I wish I had the money to buy it. ❤😊
Absolute perfection. 💯
Gorgeous 👍🏻🇺🇸
Beautiful build with a beautiful color!
Beautiful color but the original blue is the best color for c2 corvettes.
love it
I was born the same year as the Corvette (and Playboy magazine).
I could use a restoration like this.
STUNNING!!
Like the power bulge hood better, especially on a 65 donor. Can’t beat Nassau Blue either!
Spectacular car and color! I knew it had to be HOK. Can you tell me the name of the color?
Man, that beauty would cause alot of accidents from all the head turning going down the road.
What was the total cost of the build? I am looking to get one done myself, but I’m in doubt to buy it already built.
Nice work is that a candy basecoat like shimrin 2 brandywine
Figure the cost of the car itself and add an extra $100K to get it to that point of finish.
great time line video. Question: how many working/billable hours ?
What was the total cost?
Dangg
Incredible. What's that cost? 400K 500K??
At least that amount of money build it the way you want you only live once what a Kick Ass Corvette
Wow! Lots of money, lots of work, lots of time. Hope it's worth it. Poor 65 Vette.
The owner certainly thinks it is! Unfortunately the donor car needed so much work it likely would have never been restored if it wasn’t for this project. So it was lucky to have been saved.
Resto mods and pro touring cars are the way to go. Originals are nice but they still drive like old cars and your totally restricted to what you can do to the car. And they don’t perform with modernized Corvettes.
The wheel choice spoils the car ,I would have gone for smaller rims with a bit more sidewall, and more original gauges on the dash
Price?
what size of vise grips are you using at the 59second mark?
Many are custom made here
I think that I just got sick to my pants....
Great job, poor stopping power.
Actually fantastic stopping power. This car has modern C6 Corvette calipers powered by a Wilwood master cylinder and a Hydratech Hydraboost unit which gives the car modern stopping power.
Where the stingray signature on that splitwindow? This totally fake and unrighteouss
The split window was a one-year-only detail on the 1963 'Vette. It was eliminated for '64-'67.
