I say this with all honesty. I'm an owner of a 911, and been raised around hotrods for close to 60 years. No other American car have I've witnessed gets more attention when riding down the road than early the C3s. No Camero, C2, or an ole school 911. The attention that these cars get are remarkable.
@justsomejoe3632 totally agree.
Yea, I am pretty convinced that if batman was middle class, this is the car he would drive to fight crime...
@tstanley01 The C2 would probably be his grocery getter car....
These men built a beautiful car. ♥️
thank you so much!
The C3 Vette is just such an outrageous design. I've sat and stared at the lines on those cars and they're this crazy combination of schoolboy notebook doodle mixed with a Buck Rogers space rocket. So cool.
The whole car is beautiful to begin with the Interiors outrageous
One of the very best builds I’ve seen! Awesome.
I'm in awe of what they've done to this car. Absolutely beautiful job!❤😊
thank you!!!
STUNNING CORVETTE WOW-INCREDIBLE INTERIOR--TOO AMAZING-GUYS WELL DONE.
What a beautiful corvette. The customer will be happy!
Thank you ! He was indeed and we are building 2 more for him!
The "customer" must not have enjoyed it too much or for too long because it's currently listed for sale on their website. It can be yours for a mere $450k!!! It's definitely one sweet ride, I just don't know if it's almost half a million dollars worth of nice!
I think my heart exploded with joy. It is GAAAWR-JUSSS!!!
Well done, gents!
thank you!
Beautiful car. This is why the C3 flys under the radar . Incredible potential for Restomods like this, and folks don’t lose their mind , like when u cut up a 63~67! You can snag a great C3,s for 25~35 all day
Talk about a dream car, wow. I'd love to see a 1972 Pontiac Trans Am resto-mod. That would be the ultimate car for me.
Wow! 😃 Great Job! 👍🏼
A perfect C3… 😎
Amazing! Love it! Great job guys!
thank you!!
Stunning!!!
Thank you TH-cam algorithms. I sub’ed like any Vettehead should. And yes at 6-5 2hundoe I barely fit in my 69. Thanks for the tip on the seats. Was gonna take out the sliding rails on mine so I fit better.
Beautiful Car
Friggin awesome
A stunning car all round, likewise the video
I'm normally a purist when it comes to Vettes ... But that car is nothing short of stunning. Fast, tasteful and very, very cool beans.
That was awesome
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤
That is awesome ❤
Super nice job😊
The C3 is ageless, and always will be.
When it's combined with the C7 it's unbeatable.
qué ermoso auto eso sí es un clásico deberían fabricar más dé ésos auto 😍🥰👍
Very Nice.....
Nice.... Very Cool! ;) You did a great job and very creative! Ok, how do I get one without my grown kids knowing.... after all it would be their Inheritance... ;)
wow! shes beautiful!
Thank you! We put a lot of work into it
Nice!
This has about everything i would want
That ‘69 is amazing. My restomod ‘69 build is planned to be very similar engine and suspension-wise. My color scheme will be Bright Blue (WA9184) paint with Light Slate Gray (13AN) interior.
Man, I bet it smells great in there with all that leather!
Fiberglass Beauty! 😎
I want one.
Outstanding work! Just draw dropping. If you dont mind me asking. If I were to drop a '69 off at your shop. How much would it cost to do such a conversion?
That's a beautiful car. A lot like what I want to do to mine. I do have to ask what that rattling noise is. I can't imagine that something with the suspension is making the noise. I guess that's what these shakedown runs are for.
I seen this video several time, since then still looking for my lost jaw .
All it needs is a Glove Box. LOL Beautiful Car!
It looks... dunno how to describe lol
This is amazing! Whats the ballpark price if i wanted something similar done?
This one is currently listed on their website for a cool $450k!!! I'd guess it could be built for less than that -- actually, I'm sure it could be. It's stunningly beautiful, but at almost half a million it's bordering on insanity.
Dang man.
How much room was lost by replacing the seats?
I want one.. please let me know how?
what was the cost of that build?
The fiberglass console. Do you make them to sell them ?
Custom built for our builds only.
.........⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.........
How much does a restore like this cost guys
This is the RETRO VETTE GM should have built as the C8 instead of that hatchet job they made.
O U T R A G E O U S!
how much?
Whats the ball park cost to do this ?
I'm sure it can be built for far less than the $450k it's currently listed at on their website. It's an absolutely beautiful car and they've done an absolutely phenomenal job on it but that price is bordering on insanity in my opinion.
How much it would cost to rebuilt such Corvette?
Overall nice. The wheels and the dashboard wouldn't be my choice but that's just complaining on a high level
How much would a restoration like this cost ?
Not as much as it's listed for currently on their website, which is a whopping $450k!!!
I have seen comparable restomod c3's in the sub 200k range.
Needs cup holders
Floated through this video again.....6 months later....no sale yet i would imagine becaue such great work but leaving the car as an automatic transmission is its downfall. Should have been built with a tremec 5 or 6 speed and would have landed a home run.
For you, perhaps. And possibly for quite a few other gear heads, BUT, the greatest majority of those in both the age bracket to want one of these and the wealthy enough to drop $450k on a toy demographic tend to prefer automatics.
Suspension mods? Surely you didn’t leave the horrid stock rear suspension in place?
Completely redesigned with C6 suspension !
It says resto mod for sale . Since this is for a customer i am guessing 100 grand to do this??
100k will get you started with some parts.
@@CountyCorvettecome on really 100k will get you started? The C-3 cost 5k the c-7 cost 50k. Why do you need 100k just for parts? Just stop it
It's a 1 of 1 custom car! It's not going to cost what you can pick up a mass produced car for...
I'm sure you could build one for far less than the $450k it's currently listed at on their website. I know it was all hand built and custom made but at almost half a mil for a C3 it IS bordering on absurdity.
@@Michael-el7uc I'm guessing you haven't priced custom made, hand built, one off RestoMods in quite a while. I agree that the $450k that it's currently listed at on their website is laughably absurd, but they ARE NOT cheap.
They have very small interiors his knee is nearly on the speedometer 😂. My c4 is like a Cadillac compared to that
He is also 6 foot 3 and 250lbs...
"My c4 is like a Cadillac compared to that"
You say that as if that is a good thing for a sportscar to be, like a cadillac, it's not.
As a " bumper vette" purist what you have done to the suspension and drivetrain is sweet upgrade but that " porche" tan interior is decadently disturbing to me!!!
I would not trade my stock 72 for that car, but it's very nice. For me, the modern large wheels don't look right.
Automatic....?
This restoration is absolutely magnificent, with one exception.
Feel free to disagree with me as this is only my opinion, but the oversize rims are so stupid looking, they ruin the whole look of the vehicle.
For all the obvious hard work that went into restoring what is without question the best looking generation of the corvette, with those rims & tires all I can see is this car in nice plastic packaging hanging on one of the many hooks in the Matchbox section of the Walmart toy department.
I do like the restos but to me I like muscle cars. Big power big torque if that isn't there, u don't have a real muscle car.I am pretty picky a as to what I like and once I lose interest it is done stick a fork in it
Money talks 100,00 up
LOL Multiply that by 5!! It's currently on their website listed at $450k.
Perfectly comfortable as his leg changes the infotainment system. ha ......
You guys should have added accents/contrast in the interior instead of a one-tone color. The same goes for the area where the shifter is. You could have used some wood grain. The car looks fantastic and sounds impressive, but that interior does it no justice.
There is subtle blue stitching throughout interior.
You know, it`s a nice job, although I don`t like these type of modern wheels for a classic car like this. But what really bothers me is to take an original car that looks like it had everything on its place and do this. The amount of job that was done, you know... it would be as quite as same as buld the car from zero.
Good thing they didn't spend your money to do it, right? Otherwise your opinion would be an issue to the customer.
@@Fyre0 as long as I know, the space here is free to set opinions. If someone don't like it, it's also free to debate.
There's absolutely no relevance in the fact of paying for the service to write something like I said here.
@@CarsForSaleBrazil "I'm a special snowflake and my opinion matters, waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" lol
@@Fyre0 "I'm a baby and I feel sorry for customers being upset against Internet comments" lol
Completely nonsense
Way too many shots to the interior and way way way too few shots of the outside of the car!
Those wheels are atrocious! WTF.......may as well be a C7 IMHO. I've yet to see a classic muscle car which low profile tires make look better. I do realize there are huge improvements with larger brakes, but damn.
You killed it with an automatic 🤦🏽♂️
Buy one with a stick or maybe two.
Well when you pay them to build one for you to YOUR preferences (as I understand this particular customer did for this one) then you can have them put a manual in yours. Are you saying you wouldn't want it if someone was giving it to you because of the transmission someone else chose?
@@pineappletacos4727 👍 ageed
Your weak comment. If you are so bent on automatic then, let's see if you'll do the same on a camaro, C2, or a mustang video. You're scared to. Probably 20 to 34, no life and drive an automatic.
Guys who can afford cars like that usually aren't the best drivers. Why do you think Ferrari doesn't offer a stick anymore?
Beautiful car but I see your not shifting.....what a waste of machinery. Not built for a driver but beautiful.
So automatic transmission cars -- which is what well over 90% of vehicles are built with and have been for quite a few years now -- aren't built for driving nor for a driver?? That's the stupidest shit I've read all week. This is a custom built, one off built for a customer (as I understand it) so when you shell out the money for them to build yours and have it built to YOUR specifications then you can have them "not waste machinery" and have yours built with a manual. It's pretty hysterical watching grown ass adults get so butthurt over something so trivial and menial as transmission choice/preference.
Sure 90% of vehicles have auto trans but 90% of resto sports cars have manual, whether vette, porsche, ferrari ,aston, alpha, vw, . County makes great cars bar none. If that's a client's order, let them have it. The resale is always higher for the manual and for me... and most of the vette heads I know.... the joy and the art of driving is found in a manual transmission. @@pineappletacos4727
Cool car but those wheels look like they should be on Tyrones ghetto Cadillac.
😂😂😂😂😂
And yet they were offered on both the C6 AND C7 Corvette's.
It is beautiful. For me, the side pipes do not sound good and the Auto ruins the flavor and heart of these model years. The interior while a work of art, again ,to me just not work in the Corvette...it is NOT an Italian supercar....Thanks regardless!
"The auto ruins the flavor and heart of these model years" even though the greater majority of C3's were actually built with an automatic? LOL OK. And you're absolutely correct - it's NOT an Italian supercar. It wasn't meant to be nor was it trying to be nor were these ever in competition with any of them. It was a sports car. Comparing a C3 to ANY supercar is like comparing apples to oranges.
Nice buts looks sounds slow.
Oh its not slow. over 500 hp. It will scare you.
Looks or sounds? Because "looks sounds slow" doesn't make a damn bit of sense. Not that you can typically tell by this type of video to begin with.
the wheels look like crap on that car
You probably don't even have a car. Your a idiot.
