That cave is so insanely beautiful after the rain/snow! It’s unbelievable just how much the scenery can change with water added to the flow. Keep up the great work!
Amazing videos, I’m addicted, it’s 2 in the morning and i’m still watching. Looks like so much fun, you have a lot more guts than I would have, so it’s fun to just watch! Can tell you know what you’re doing - great lighting, great filming, and no unnecessary loud music as a soundtrack! Better job done and more enjoyable than with “professional” documentaries. Thanks so much, stay safe!!
4:48 The venation in the rock where trails of mineral-depositing water run along the underside of the rock shows how undisturbed the cave is. To imagine each drop of water tracing the exact same path for so many years seems to defy entropy
Thanks for the video! It is bringing back many great memories from my teen years! I remember a cave in Kentucky or Tennessee that had a fall like at 9:30 and it went up and down a vertical shaft that looked to have no beginning or end. Sadly, I lost all of my photographs of the entire summer I spent spelunking those two states with a friend... Some of the caves were very hard to get permission to get to, let alone enter, but my friend was related to many of the people who owned the land. My ears sound like the audio when the mic got wet, and it takes effort to get the water out. It is hard to believe that such large areas hide under little holes in the ground, and if you fall in, it's a long way down!
@@CiscoWes While that cave is a huge explore, it is best with a crew working to find more of the cave system. But the caves I like, back then, were the out of the way, private caves not built up for the public. However, at my age, I can't do what I used to do!
the wonder in your voice when you got to the bottom was contagious. had me smiling. i could tell this was a new experience for you compared to your other videos
Your channel has become a favorite of mine. Have you ever thought of taking samples of water and formations and teaming up with a university or the USGS.
It’s hard to believe that there is so much beauty underground. Thank you so much for sharing this video and sharing your adventures. I totally loved this video it was epic ❤
1 st you guys have no fear repelling into something you can't see the bottom and lucky to see the stuff in person that 99%of use will never see, I'm a rock hound and love seeing the formation and crystals, great vids love them all. Keep them coming and be safe gentlemen.
I count myself lucky to have been down that pit myself! That flowstone floor alive with water makes it one of the most beautiful pit bottoms in TAG, there is nothing else like it.
The most amazing thing about this video is the guy filming is reacting to something he has seemingly already reacted to off camera. "Hey check out this CRAZY 220 foot hole!" "It's opening up! This is wild!" "Wow look at this! Look at that!" *Get to the bottom of the hole* "This tight squeeze was dry the last time we came down here." Also the hammered in bolt of a previous caver at 1:33 This reminds me of those fake video game ads you see on YT. "Hey check it out! This is the game! I am actually playing this game! Wow! Not fake!" Not hating really, simply pointing out you broke the amazement/exploration illusion to viewer. If you've been down there before, tell the viewer. Tell us some interesting things you found last time you went down there. Let us react on our own. If you haven't been down there before, then let the viewer react with you. To share in that feeling of exploration.
I'm glad cameras were invented so I can experience this through you because if i did this myself I would die but this is insane youre probably the only people who've ever set foot there
I have a hole like that in KY across from the great Saltpetre cave. I don’t have to bawls to get close to it. No idea if it goes down….. but it’s on a huge hill and in a spot where water travels under ground…..
In the world of over exaggerating everything I feel I can use this word properly. Amazing! That staircase/waterfall was probably one of the coolest things ever!
Insane, that thumbnail looks a lot like a hole I found while working on Admiralty island in Alaska. It was in the spring when snow was still on the ground, and all around the hole the ground was green with moss and free of snow from warm air escaping the hole. Me and a buddy returned that weekend with some rope. It didn't open up nearly as wide as this one seems to, but then again we didn't have the proper gear to climb down inside it very deep. Very cool pictures! Also, 15:18
Love your guy's content so much! I started out claustrophobic, but seeing some of the beauty you guys encounter on these trips has made me much less so. I will definitely be trying to visit these places someday!

Where are you guys from and where do you find all these caves to explore? Can you use something in your videos for a size reference while in the caves and seeing different things? Why not bring a laser range finder for depth measurements and ceiling height measurements?
The whole mountain is a block of Swiss cheese. I went in 3 others maybe a mile from them while this was being shot. It really is a mind-boggling thing to see firsthand.
Wow!!! What a beautiful place. It’s amazing what could be right under our feet and we could never even have a clue. Thanks so much for sharing this adventure with us. You guys are awesome.
That is truly one of the most stunning things I have seen on here. Thanks for taking the plunge for the rest of us so we can all witness that amazing underground cathedral and waterfall.
12:00 .. they are kinda bulky to pack, but usually used at the entrance anyway, Bicycle Tires cut in short lengths are GREAT for rope protection on sharp edges!!
near where i live I know of a hole that ate a whole 60ft fallen down tree in it 15 yrs ago and the hole entrance is 5 ft round max maybe bigger. and it swallows thousands of liter of water. and I have thrown a rock in it and 15 seconds till you hear any noise come out of it. not sure how deep. but I guess a lot of old things in it !!! only 5 km from my house !!!
Daaaaang lads, that's a helluva pit indeed. And like, immediately, too. Alot of the time it seems like the entrance passages of alot of caves consist of mostly mundane features, such as stream passages, breakdown piles, etc. that persist for at least a little while before you get to see any truly spectacular or otherwise significant formations or unusual features of whatever kind, but here its like, _immediately_ phenomenal. Some of those formations down in the lower parts of that pit are extremely psychedelic, too... especially with (and at times, specifically because of) the presence and flow of all that excess water running over them. I mean, speleothems are almost always farly psychedelic to some extent, honestly, but with the qualities of dynamic motion that come with the addition of running water in addition to the geological components, that really conjures up quite the visual spectacle. Gosh, guys, ain't nature just grand sometimes?
Wow. That reminds me of the moonstone cave on pokemon ruby and sapphire. Amazing stuff. Glad you guys made it out of there safe and sound. Quite the adventure

Gosh, just watching him drop down into the pit had my knees so weak 😭 and I’m laying in the bed 😂. Amazing video guys, praying for safe adventures always 🙏🏽♥️
This is absolutely crazy! The cave is so beautiful and cool. A couple of questions: Do you mind explaining what gear you're using to self belay? (Not looking to recreate this or anything, I'm just a curious rock climber!) Were you at all worried about the rope breaking or failing, since there was no backup rope? And in what part of the world did these caves form?
A j frame 6 bar rappel rack with full solid bars is what we used to get down into the pit. We were definitely a little worried about the rope rubbing on a few of those spots and snapping but it was a new rope and we didn't notice any damage to it coming back up

Evidently I have got to try caving!
Some Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole shit right there!!!
