- I FINALLY catch the first AND second pelagic fish species aboard my new boat! Two firsts on Boaty McBoatface. I was fishing offshore looking for kelp paddys, and boy did I find them! They were hungry and eager to bite live bait sardines on the flyline.
All fish caught on the 40lb setup. I had one break me off on the 25lb, so I switched up the gear and the fish were not line shy!

Have you done a review on that safety vest?
No but I love it. The NRS Chinook. Super comfy all day, especially on the kayak. Lots of accessory pockets. I use them for my radio extra hooks and whatnot. Really good vest.

Yeah I was assuming it was a yellowtail based on the fight but you're probably right it was mixed fish on the paddy!

@@sammypiraino8644 if you're looking to mix it up and get some tuna potential I'd say it's a good call, otherwise the Dorado and yellowtail are much closer!
@@SDKook we went to the 302 got 2 dorado and then went to the corner and got a 35lb dorado on the troll but the hook broke off the lure right when we were going to gaff it
