G.E. Smith, so damn good. Steps right in but never tries to overshadow .

Why was this never released in the 30th anniversary.. really weird that George is it the finale song of the concert but this track is not in the concert at all.

George looks and sounds pissed off and dangerous here. Exactly what this song needs.

Is the the only song that didn’t make the live albums?

George Harrison playing „If not for you“ isn‘t on it either. Read that George was not quite happy with his performance.

Dylan singing Song to Woody before he sings It's Alright Ma, as well as some blond chick who sings I Want You but I forgot her name. These two songs were also omitted from official video and audio releases.

Sophie B. Hawkins' I Want You is missing as well.

I think he was the act before. Joking about himself if I'm not mistaken.

The fact Dylan never had G.E.on any recorded albums during his stint really upset him but Bob got sick of him real fast I’ve read in the book On the road: the songs of Bob Dylan which talks about every albums recording and all the tracks including ones rehearsed and others not released. I never cared for him and I disagree about not trying to steal the shine off Dylan as he posed on every song he played on. Dylan hated that. Just play. Instead he would look as Bob played the harmonica like “ how is he doing that” big grin smile over the most basic harmonica solo. The rest of the band thought it made Bob look silly and I agree. He was let go and his next band from late 1993- early 1997 was my favorite non “Band or Heartbreaker” band of his.
J.J.Jackson on guitar, Tony Garnier on bass, Winston Watson on drums, Bob on rhythm guitar / vocals and Bucky Baxter on steel pedal guitar.
    They killed at Woodstock too.
G.E. even dies it while George sings one of Bobs Johnny Cash gifted songs from Bob as though it was Visions of Johanna. Goofy b*stard with that dopey look.
